The hotel's greatest strengths were its excellent location and the exceptional hospitality of the staff. Situated in a convenient position to the train station. The staff was always ready to assist with a warm and welcoming attitude. Their professionalism and friendliness truly made a difference

The main criticisms are for the corridors (they need a good renovation) and the sink in the bathroom. While some aspects of the hotel could be improved, the combination of a prime location and outstanding service made for a pleasant stay.

The reception staff were absolutely excellent. We’d had a nightmare situation with our old car breaking down which then meant a lot of complicated conversations. Our language skills are limited to English but Greta and the woman on the afternoon shift kindly made the phone calls on our behalf and smoothed the path to the car being repaired. They were so very kind and professional and we appreciated them very much. The restaurant staff were charming and food delicious. Lovely spacious room and bathroom. Friendly cleaning staff.

Because of train strike in Italy, I had to break my trip in Chiasso, arriving late and leaving with the first train in the morning (about 5h30). The train station is very close. The personnel were quite friendly. After the trip, entering the hotel was a good sensation "finally home".

For my type of experience (arriving late without dinner, leaving early before breakfast room opens), having the opportunity and comfort of a water boiler and some tee bags in the room would have been great.

The room had its own large balcony area, which was great for our two little dogs. The bed was comfy and the ensuite great apart from shower door opening inwards, meaning a real squeeze to get in and out.

I enquired about car parking but was informed the underground garage was too low for our land rover with roof tent. I wasn't given any options. I was expecting to park some distance from hotel which I was dredding as the car was full of stuff. As it happened luck was on our side as we arrived about 8 pm a lady pulled out of car parking space opposite hotel. The parking zone is 15mins max, but free from 7pm to 8 am, so we had an early start in morning. One other moan was WiFi which is charged via Swisscom, not what I wanted.

Everything in my room was fine, clean and new. Nothing to complain about. Very good value for what I payed. Minibar well equipped. Kettle and possibly to kale coffee. New clean towels, modern bathroom.

I didn't sleep well on your matters whi h masses me think it wasn't the best quality. I normally don't have problems like this but this one was uncomfortable and hard. No option to have tea although there are kettles and instant coffee in the rooms. Not sure why no tea was there. No toothpaste or toothbrush in the bathroom set.

I enjoyed all facilities, Reception, and breakfast. I broke my nail upon arrival and didn't have a file with me, the nail was so annoying during my travel, but at the hotel room there was a file in, I was so happy ☺️

Usually, I choose to stay with breakfast included, but Booking.com didn't inform me that breakfast you have to pay separately. If I choose the option with breakfast included, please show me hotels only with breakfast included. That was bad as I was badly surprised at the end of my stay.

The location is great, a short walk to the train station and nested in the town central business district with coffee shops and small boutiques around it. The price partially reflects this location, but iit s still good value for Switzerland. The hotel restaurant serves traditional German dishes and Swiss classical meals, all at high quality standards.

Having stayed here before, years ago, I sense a lack of interest in keeping up with the new., the decor is dated and a revamping is long overdue. The breakfast was basic, almost frugal, coffee ran out and the service was symbolic to put it kindly.

Perfect central position in Chiasso near the pedestrian zone. Very helpful staff, with a very clean, quite and big room. Nice and clean bathroom. Possibility to eat directly in the hotel's restaurant. The restaurant offers a very good and large choice of local and international cuisine. Everything in this stay was absolutely OK, with a reasonable price for the offered quality. This would be a great solution also if you have to attend a business meeting in Mendrisio, because the hotel is only 10km away (and in my opinion the price/quality are better than in Mendrisio). I will surely return to this hotel. If you arrive by car, possibility to park near the hotel.

Excellent location 3 minutes walk from Chiasso station. you are next to the border and have decent options of restaurant on both side (IT and CH). You can receive the Ticino Card allowing you to travel everywhere in Ticino, every destinations are less than 1 hour by train (Lugano, Bellizona, Locarno, etc) You can also train to Milan in 45 minutes by regional train for around 11chf back and forth

Beds where a bit hard for me We had to give up having lunch and evening apero in the restaurant as it was busy and so were the waiters, looks like they are understaffed for the demand.

We used this hotel located near Como as stopover in transit to Germany. I can't remember to have experienced a more professional concierge than the woman we met at our arrival - basically she knew everything about us before I could express our demands. The (standard) rooms were clean, had a nice view to the main place outside. The restaurant gives you the typical Mövenpick treatment of the highly professional Swiss hotellerie (and the well renowed wine menu from Mövenpick, if that matters). In general, a big positive suprise, both in terms of cleanliness and hospitality.

The interior could be modernized a bit. You cannot leave the windows open to the central place as it is too loud. On the other hand, the air conditioner was making constant noise.
