I loved the overall ambiance and staff. The hotel is very well kept and the staff went above and beyond to provide recommendations and be helpful. The service felt 5 star. Cucumber water and sweets in the hotel lobby were a great touch. The guest rooms are gorgeous and we were very appreciative to have been upgraded. The toilet and shower are separated which is helpful for a couple. Both areas are in a lovely marble finish. The bed was very comfortable and I slept very well. Lastly, a big shout-out to the hotel for having a sewing kit. This saved my skirt! Merci beaucoup, Hotel D! I will be back.

I would definitely stay again, but I would have loved the hotel to have included conditioner (I went out and bought some because I have very thick hair). In addition, a full-length mirror would have been nice. Last thing - while I always felt safe, keep in mind that the hotel is in the Paquis area of Geneva and there are some strip clubs and red light areas around. These did not detract from my stay, but I thought they were worth mentioning.

We already knew this hotel chain and as we liked it a lot we chose this option to stay in Geneva. It's not exactly in the area with the most tourist traffic but that wasn't a problem for us, we didn't mind walking a few blocks to see the main points of the city. There are several bars and restaurants nearby, with good happy hour options on weekdays. The room is not big, but it is comfortable. The breakfast is very good. For city standards, we think it was a good relationship between the daily rate and the quality of the hotel.

The room could be bigger.

My hotel to go to whenever I go to Geneva. From its central location for easy public transportation, to a variety of choices for shopping and restaurants. Room is very comfortable, the breakfast is good and the hotel WiFi is fast. This hotel is a gem. But what sets the hotel apart is the staff of the hotel. Their friendliness, hospitality and professionalism and willingness to help is exceptional. I was pleasantly surprised when I was given a free upgrade during my stay this time. Joanna and Angelique at the reception are special who are the face of a great stay at the hotel. I look forward to my next trip to Geneva again, and staying with them.

The hotel is centrally located, with convenience to be near public transportation, shopping and restaurants including a McDonalds and a KFC very nearby. From the airport, you arrive to Cornavin Train Station and the hotel is at walking distance. Alternatively you can take the bus or a taxi at about CHF35. Online booking was very convenient, and what you see in the photos of the hotel and facilities is exactly what you will see and get. All the hotel staff from reception to housekeeping were very nice and helpful. A special mention to Joanna and Angelique at the reception who made it a great stay at the hotel. Would certainly stay with them again during my next trip.

Excellent location, within easy walking distance from the railway station. Very friendly and helpful reception staff. Allowed us early check in which was great since we had arrived very early. Much appreciated. Plenty of bars and restaurants in the area. Very nice room with good views and good air conditioning. It was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was tasty and once again, the staff were friendly and helpful. The perfect place to stay! Thanks to all the hotel staff!

Juliean in the front desk was a key reason for us loving our stay, he clearly understood the power of first impression from a customer service perspective. He was pleasant and helpful in finding the parking location and checking us in to pointing out good places to eat and see. This was a change to what we have experienced in that regard😞. The room is “cozy” and ver clean with a comfortable layout and bathroom. Will certainly visit again and will recommend it.

Modern, beautifully furnished, clean rooms at the heart of Geneva, from where you can walk pretty much anywhere. I would definitely recommend it.

The lady at the check-in desk was on the phone at length as we arrived. She didn't signal she noticed our arrival, and she didn't consider putting down the phone and re-call later, which is a practice often encountered at top hotels. Thus, we waited for 15 mins before we were sorted, and when this was raised she seemed less than happy and in disagreement.

Limited facilities and no dining option but not really an issue on city break . Lighting in rooms rather fiddly and hard paper copy of details such as breakfast times etc would have been helpful .

I had a fabulous stay at this wonderful hotel - I must say a big thank you to Angélique who provided a great welcome and hospitality from the moment I arrived. The hotel has everything you need, is walking distance to all the great attractions of Geneva and the train station if you want to go further. Also thank you to Pauline at the front desk. Looking forward to my next visit!

Nothing - it was perfect!

The staff was very accommodating. Very good suggestions from Teddy and Julian. Shower was excellent. Provided iron and ironing board.

We thought the breakfast was the weakest link. Poor assortment of breads and pastries. Salmon came out once never to be seen again! Fruit was good as were eggs. Lighting system is very confusing and a guide should be provided on how to use it.
