I have just had the most amazing stay and I cannot recommend this hotel enough! The location is picturesque, the rooms are spacious, the bed superb, and the bathrooms luxurious. But what really sets this hotel apart are the staff - they go above and beyond to make your stay a delight! One night they called all over town to get me into a busy restaurant because I had (shortsightedly) not made a reservation anywhere. Another day, I was unsuccessful in my hunt for French onion soup, and they asked the chef to prepare it, especially for me! I’d particularly like to thank Sarah, Nelson, Sébastien, and Imrân for making my weekend so relaxing. I have already booked my next stay and cannot wait to return!

The shower head was a bit outdated - but the water pressure was amazing!

It’s spectacular building in a lovely setting, very well built and finished. my room, with a view over the lake towards the west, was large and very comfortable indeed. I liked having a shoehorn and shoe cleaning kit, which were useful as it turned out. The bathroom was immaculate. The minibar was well stocked, although the prices mean that One might really need a drink before grabbing one. Lovely to have a Nespresso machine in the room, with enough capsules for the morning before breakfast. The staff were faultlessly, polite and friendly, nothing was too much trouble for them.

The restaurant is understandably very expensive😂

fantastic location next to Lac Neuchatel with no intervening traffic. beautiful views. wonderful breakfast with fantastic views. large room, very comfy. nice bar to sit and have some tea while adminring the view. easy to walk into the old city. i would go back

bedroom was not super cute, a few touchups would have been nice. there isn't really anywhere nice to sit in the hotel. you have to go to the bar and order something.

Location is perfect. Easy to reach by car, parking place at the hotel, or to a public parking very close to the hotel. The hotel is in front of the lake and close to the city center. Perfect to enjoy a nice walk around. The room was very spacious with a lake-view balcony . Bathroom was big and clean, with a bathtub and a shower. Staff is very nice and welcoming. We were very satisfied with our stay in this hotel.

Well situated center of town, big underground parking next door, help-full staff. Coffee machine in room. Would stay there again with pleasure.

The house keeping should check the shower heads more often as in our bath room it was clogged with lime scale, just needed to rub the head a bit to clear the holes to get a proper spray.

It was a very nice hotel, great location beautiful views on the water, great walking places, the food was good, ordinary but good.

In our final invoice we were charged for parking 35.00 but we did not have a car. I have tried to contact the hotel to get a refund but they do not respond.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. I received constant attention and smiles from staff. Incredible service! The location is incredibly beautiful. I've traveled solo and I was so lucky to end up at this hotel. It was like a spot for a movie. Thank you all for an unforgettable stay.

Aspects of the food don’t meet a five star hotel expectation unfortunately. It should be perfect… but there were a couple of issues. The batter on the fish was too thick, and the spicing of the tartar wasn’t what was ordered. Otherwise all good!

Comfortable, plush hotel, great location. Great beds. Very clean and friendly reception staff.

The welcoming staff at the restaurant at breakfast were a bit cold and not very « welcoming ». In the other hand The service staff (waiters) were nice and helpful.

Beautiful old building on the lake promenade in the very center of Neuchatel. Breakfast is tasty, the view from the dining room is fantastic. Cocktails and dinner menu is great although expensive. Room is big and comfortable.

There's no pool and the spa facilities are small. Of course the building itself is old so difficult to do anything about it.
