I got a free upgrade from a budget room to a suite because I only stayed for one night and the room was free which was super kind and surprising. Also, the breakfast was amazing and well executed and the staff was super friendly. The rooms are beautiful and the hotel is at a great location close to the station. The staff thinks along with you and is genuinely involved with their guests. The bed was very comfortable.

It is ran by a very small team, so there's usually no staff at all outside office hours. This isn't necessarily negative at all, just something to be aware of. The only little minus I experienced is that I missed a paper in the hotel room with some basic details like the wifi code, breakfast hours etc. It is told at the reception, but when you're tired after long travels it's hard to remember everything! I also couldn't find anything like that at the reception.

The property was charming and centrally located, only a few minutes walk from most things. The staff were very friendly and kind, which made the experience very pleasant for me, especially since I was traveling alone. I felt it was an excellent value for the cost. In my opinion, the breakfast was superior to what most hotels may offer. The room was extremely spacious, especially for one person.

The only “negative” thing I can say about the property is that the stairwell is narrow so it could be difficult for some people to navigate, but that kind of thing is to be expected in an older building. I really don’t have any complaints!

The room was large and a lovely design, and it is nicely in the old town. They also put a lovely typical Swiss breakfast on. I was concerned about having a shared bathroom but they were very clean.

The check in hours weren't as advertised, the front door was locked and the door bell didn't work. We had to make a couple of attempts to call them to get the door opened. Additionally, when I had to write my email address, I was told to write it again so it's readable. Staff otherwise lovely. I suggest having ear plugs if a light sleeper and early to bed.

Very good experience! Great location. Very clean and with good energy. We have asked for a quiet room (not looking into the street) and such was given. It was very clam and quiet even though the hotel is located just next to the main square. The location is perfect - close to every attraction, up to 10 min to train station, few min from bus stops. Curtains are available and light was not waking us up. Beds and pillows could be better (too soft was us) but the amazing breakfast (pics below) and very friendly and helpful staff was making up for it. So we can't complain about anything. Perfect for few days stay.

The location is perfect, the staff extremely friendly and the value for the property vs. cost was quite high. It was a short walk to all the best places but not too loud.

We stayed in August (it was hot) and the room could have used a fan to move some air. But it wasn't terrible.

This is an incredible place. Thanks to this hotel, I want to come to Thun many more times! In our huge room, there was a shower right in the center of the room, this is very cool, thank you! A lovely lady greeted us for breakfast, helped with all our questions and prepared us a delicious fresh breakfast! Thank you very much, I am sure that I will come to Thun again and will definitely stay at your hotel.

The location was in the old town, close to bars and restaurants. The hotel staff were helpful and friendly. Beds comfortable and grest shower. Breakfast was plentiful. The hotel was very traditional, which we loved.

No Christmas tree or decs in the restaurant/ breakfast room, which was a shame. Would have been nice to have had tea / coffee making facilities in the bedroom.

The room was cozy and clean. Decor and beds were lovely and the location was excellent. Little things like the card, the chocate gift and the kindness of the staff made our stay really pleasant. Breakfast was really good!

It's an excellent facility, price was quite high for one night, but in line with what it offered.

Small hotel that has a lot of charm. Rooms with big windows and lots of space. Fantastic staff who are attentive, clean shared bathrooms and wonderful breakfast (best we have ever had). All the touches made it a comfortable stay.

There was no air conditioning, which during our time wasn't an issue but something to note.

It was wonderful. I loved to stay at this place. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was extra yummi. The room was clean, big enough and the fascilities wonderful... nice view... very much in the center of Thun... with nice shopping area etc. and public transport very close... many shops reachable in walking distance... and even the conference (Messe / Expo) was very close in walking distance... Free WIFI...only not so strong in the room itself... and i haven`t seen prehand that the toilet & shower was outside the room, which didn`t cause any issue... -> very clean toilets and bathrooms... THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SUCH A NICE PLACE, THAT WAS IT`S MONEY DEFINETLY WORTHWHILE...
