A Heartfelt Thank You to THE HO HOTEL 💖 I stayed at THE HO HOTEL in Hsinchu with my mother in June 2025. The hotel was already impressive with its warm hospitality, clean and spacious room, and easy access for wheelchair users. But what truly set them apart was the way they handled a small accident that could have become a big loss. After we checked out and continued our trip, I received an email from the hotel informing me that their housekeeping team had found a Buddha amulet necklace left in our room. It was a very personal and sentimental item that belonged to my mother—and honestly, we hadn’t even realized it was missing yet. Their message came with a clear photo of the necklace, and they kindly asked whether it was ours and how we’d like them to proceed. I was genuinely touched—not only by their honesty and care, but also by the fact that they took the time to contact me so promptly and respectfully. This is more than just good service. It’s a reflection of integrity and genuine care for their guests. I truly appreciate the staff, especially housekeeping and the front desk team, for their outstanding professionalism and kindness. If you’re looking for a hotel in Hsinchu that goes beyond expectations, THE HO HOTEL is a place you can trust—not only for comfort, but for their heart. Highly recommended. 🙏💫

The hotel is very close to NYCU and NTHU campuses and is a great option for those with business at any of these two universities. The room was spacious and was great for my business trip. There is a convenience store just outside the hotel and another a short walk away. The breakfast was good and featured a changing variety of Chinese and Western dishes. East Hsinchu can be reached also by walk from here, while for downtown you'd have to take a bus from the big road nearby. Overall I would stay here again for the purpose of business at the universities.

The hotel is good value and especially useful for business. For a vacation the location might not be ideal because it is neither in downtown, nor the East district, nor Zhubei and the HSR. That means that some transit time always has to be planned in. At the same time, it is close to the highway, so for a stopover this can be a good option.

The staff was great. The room was nice as was the bathroom. The breakfast had a great variety. You might add a waffle machine. Foreign travelers are used to this. For the smaller rooms you might think od using a regular king or queen size bed to give more space in the room for walking and unloading luggage. We will be staying here again.

We have no complaints with the hotel or its staff. It was an enjoyable experience.

Affordable location, next to the university. Lot of food fairly close, clean, staff was super helpful, a small bakery in the lobby, they serve Starbucks but are not a Starbucks so their food is hand made and baked and delicious.

Slightly older, and seem to be going through some renovations. The main turn style front door is broken, and the cobble stone drop off lane is in pretty rough shape, but don’t let that discourage you

We arrived at 和選旅 about 17:00. The time is almost the clean staff finishing their work, so I think next time me and my sister will arrive at Hotel earlier or later to avoid the clean staff. The facility of 和選旅 is nice, the location is nice also, the restaurant and the breakfast is nice,二訪is nice experience and feel warm and happy. It’s worth 4 star/四星級✨。 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I think the bathroom things can be better specifically the shower stall doors and shower head. I liked the staff and promptness of things. Rooms were very big I am a vegetarian and there was customer breakfast provided by chefs every morning

You get what you pay for, very comfy, good amount of space; helpful employees with sufficient English to help you out. Wifi was also spotless, AC was quiet and worked well, bathroom wise also everything was clean and functioned.

I don't think much can be done about it but the place is not quiet, it gets better at night but during the day even on higher floors the street is so loud it's like the windows are open. Also I could hear someone in a nearby room snoring. Also fish dishes served during breakfast might be a bit difficult if you're not used to that smell in the morning. Warm water was slow to come but they warn you about that, and also having the window in the bathtub kinda leaves you in an awkward situation when showering where you don't have any comfy direction to aim the water, either you flood the bathroom or you flood the windowsill.

Comfy rooms, quite good breakfast buffet, gym and spa are good and the staff is incredibly nice. If you’re looking for a very nice hotel not so distant from the university,this is great.

It’s far from the city center

The price is affordable. The location is 10 minutes away from down town by motorcycle ride. It is also on the route of bus from Taipei.

Too crowded in breakfast time. Waiters are too busy to clean tables and keep the restaurant be clean.
