Cool spacious room with a view of the mountains, clean and basic furnishings but had a bidet, not much bells but great for the price. Bike rental is first come first serve basis for free. The bed was comfortable. They only do housekeeping if you ask them to at the lobby during working hours. Air conditioning is adjustable. Felt safe in it on the 8th floor despite the earthquake. Near 7-11, Macs and many other food options. Near a coin laundry shop too.

Looks a little dated and the central dining space at the lobby that didn't serve meals was a little weird.

The hotel is less than a 10 minute walk to Hualien Station and is located on the Main Street so it’s very close to eateries. The room was quite large (in particular the bathroom). The shower was huge with great pressure and heat.

Some of the furniture was a bit outdated or broken (my bedside table seemed to be falling apart). Nonetheless this was not an issue at all

- beds are comfortable - big bathroom and modern flush toilet - cheap hot pot restaurant located in front of the hotel - variety of restaurant and local restaurant located around the hotel - not far from bus stop and walk able from the Hualien main station

- staffs are not 24 hours at the counter - only a few bus to go and back from the famous night market - breakfast is not available

I rate hotels mainly by the quality of the staff,. In this case I got to say each one was helpful, charismatic and all around approachable. Including the owner, that was personally helpful. He only introduced himself as a member of the staff Next day we figured out who he was.

The personnel. That was particularly charming and helpful in all matters.

The location is nearby train station. Walking distance about 10 minutes. The toilet have japanese washlet. So it's very convenient for me. The room is spacious enough for 2 pax. The bed is nice and comfort.

The Internet in the room and in the lobby is slow and sometimes can't be used.

Nice size room, big shower and bathroom. Heated bidet. TV, refrigerator. Thick blanket. Toiletries. Coffee.and tea packets, bottled water.

Weak internet, weak aircon, could hear jets fly over through window. Smoke alarm battery needs replacing since beeps every few minutes.

Having free bicycles for us to rent and cycle around the city. This place is also walking distance from the train station.

Could see that the room isnt cleaned properly because there are still dust on table tops and on the door.

Bidet! The room space is quite big. The location is just right as describe in their information. Near with 7-Eleven and Family mart just few 100 to 200 meters. For muslim traveler, there is one restaurant in town provide halal food and the location is around 1.8km only.

the place is clean and nice..also their receptionist is approachable even they didnt know how to speak english..they are trying their best to communicate to us ...

the aircondition is not so cool..

The room was quite big and impressive. The hotel staff was very helpful. They offer free bicycles also, if anyone wants to roam around.
