It was across the street from Kaohsiung Station, which made it super convenient to get anywhere in the city or surrounding areas. The room was a good size and clean, the beds were comfortable, the breakfast was excellent with some staples and some rotating options everyday. There is free laundry on the main floor and they provided laundry detergent, which was an excellent amenity to us. The staff was always courteous and helpful. This hotel exceeded our expectations and we highly recommend it.

It was my 2nd time staying with this hotel. Because of the construction of Kaohsiung Station, we had to detour to get to the hotel. Otherwise, hotel is just opposite of the station. Location is great as there are McDonald, KFC, burger king, Mos Burger, Fat Daddy, local eateries, 7-Eleven and family mart nearby. The staff who checked me in was very friendly and willing to go extra mile (Sorry, I forget to get her name, she has short hair and is wearing specs)

There is new blockage infront of the hotel entrance for April 2024 so it is really very inconvenient to get to the hotel via Car

Overall a good stay and would love to stay again if we ever come to Kaohsiung in the future. Details incoming (warning: long)... Arrival: easy check in and payment. Lobby: comfortable with some coffee and hot water available. Laundry machines are free and nearby but only 2 washers and dryers, which might be occupied often. Detergent is provided. Room: 6th floor. Decent size and comfortable. No noise except when people were walking by and talking outside occasionally. Nothing too bothersome. Bed was comfortable. AC was adjustable and worked well. Kettle and mini fridge available. Bathroom: essentially both toilet and shower behind a semi-sheer glass (meaning you can see the outline of someone when they're in the shower), Separate from each other. Shower: All soaps are provided. There's a top showerhead and a mobile one, both of which had nice water pressure and very hot water (sometimes it got hotter and colder randomly). Location: awesome, right outside of Kaohsiung Main station and easily found. There are various fast food restaurants and a 7-11 nearby. Zuoying HSR, Kaohsiung airport, TSR, and Formosa Boulevard are easy to access from the station. Breakfast: some variety but most of Asian taste as expected: noodles, chicken/beef/pork in sauce options, Asian style salads, soups, rice etc. Best part is SOY MILK was provided, that was an incredibly nice surprise! I could have coffee :)

Main downside was the breakfast was only until 9.30am on weekdays and 10am on weekends, it's too early for people who are late risers or who need to take medicine well before eating! Extending it to 10.30am every day would be much better. As for variety, more simple and western options could be provided. For example, variety of eggs is limited (scrambled eggs were nice but cheese is bad for dairy intolerant people like me so I couldn't have it). Simple boiled eggs without salt or just scrambled without cheese would be better. Cereal was sugary and that was not explained at all (it said cereal rather than sugared cereal). Orange juice is not 100% juice and very sugary as well.

The beds were comfy and the room was clean. The staff speaks English and is very friendly. There’s free laundry (washing machine and dryer) available. Lot’s of restaurants are just next to the hotel and also a 7 eleven. Free coffee (not so good) and tea provided. Internet / Wifi is good.

No space for my large luggage in the room.

Located walking distance from the main train station, hotel was comfortable enough for a couple nights stay. Beds comfy, there is a free washing machine to use downstairs. Breakfast was adequate, I wish there were more fresh food options but dishes offered were tasty enough (mostly Taiwanese, but cerial and toast are also offered). Good pressure in the shower, just took a little time to warm up.

Carpet looked a little dated and I wish the fridge was cooler (it's set for 11-14 degrees?).

The hotel is located right next to Kaohsiung station, making it super convenient for local metro, as well as Taiwan rail, hence easy to get around most places. The staff was also friendly and welcoming. We arrived earlier than the check in time and could leave our luggages there. When we returned for check in, they promptly took out our luggages so that we could go to the room to rest quickly. The layout of the room is also comfortable and there's extra seating area for relaxing.

The room is carpeted and there are stains which makes it feel a little unclean. The breakfast spread can also be improved with more local tastes, e.g. having peanut butter spread for the pastry, salted egg to go with the porridge, etc.

The hotel was located very close to Kaoshiung station and it was about a 10 minute walk to Formosa Boulevard and Liuhe Night Market. The room was of a good size and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast selection was great and some different dishes were served every morning so we did not feel like we were eating the same thing every morning. Service staff at the restaurant was very attentive too. We especially enjoyed the porridge!

The breakfast was good. The hotel was well positioned next to a the main train and way station and bus lines. There are lots of interesting places to visit around Kaohsiung.

Nothing particular. The entrance way was dirty and messy, resulting from a combination of the aftermath of a typhoon and half completed work on the road and footpath. These issues should not be a problem by 2025.

The hotel is very new and room size is big. The buffet breakfast is great with various choices. The location is great, it’s very close to station and 10 minutes walk to night markets. Staff are very helpful.

Two free washing machines and powder to use but one of the dryers was broken so everyone needs to queue for it. No toilet in the buffet restaurant at lower ground level so you will need to go to lobby for it.

A terrific place, a short walk from the TRA/MRT station, with excellent English-speaking staff. The hotel was very nicely furnished, creating an oasis of calm from the hustle & bustle outside. Breakfast offered a really good selection, with staff actively refreshing, while the guest lounge proved extremely useful following check out. The room was also bigger than many others we stayed in, making that end-of-trip suitcase packing a much easier experience. The free laundry facilities were very much appreciated, with high capacity washers and dryers, the latter of which actually did their thing within half an hour, giving us more time to explore the city. Tip - the bus stop directly across the road was very useful, enabling us to get to many parts of the city quicker than via MRT. Just use Google Maps to work out which service goes where.

Some have mentioned the homeless people on the street from the station. Yes, there are some, but they didn't cause us any issues, and are a sad fact of life in many cities these days (including our own in Australia)
