Great value for money hotel! The breakfast is included, and you have the option of packing your breakfast to-go. If taking breakfast to-go, the staff hand you 2 boxes and a cup for a drink, and very helpfully pack everything up with cutlery for you. The beds in the rooms are comfortable and spacious enough. There is also a rest area / cafe on the first floor that has free-flow hot drinks, biscuits and ice-cream 24/7, and you are able to claim one beer/juice per day per room. The washing machines and dryers are also free to use.

Unfortunately, there is construction ongoing at the Kaohsiung main station, so the walk back from the station to the hotel is re-routed to a longer route. This is not a fault of the hotel, but it does add about 5-10 minutes of walking.

Staff were very friendly and patient with my level of Mandarin. The room was huge even for two people and was extremely clean. Location is excellent, only across the road from the station. The buffet breakfast were delicious and quite a large variety available. A designated area to relax on the ground floor with coffee, ice cream and small selection of snacks.

1. Station under renovation. Instead of crossing directly to the hotel, It’s a detour and kind of roundabout way to reach the hotel. From 5 minutes becomes at least 15 minutes if you have luggage 2. Though the hotel looked partially refurbished and I actually loved the room 1510. Very spacious and very very clean. Only thing is that we kept knocking our heads to the overhead lamps which are low by my standards.

Around the corner from the train station so very convenient to take day trips from also. Station is under construction so a little hectic around the area at the moment. Lots of bus options around the area, although because of the construction you need to check if a stop is closed or not. The check-in was easy and swift. There's a lounge area where you can help yourself to drinks and ice cream which is a nice touch. The room and bathroom were spacious. Some people commented on how outdated the decor is but I think it's the right level for the money you pay. Breakfast spread is huge with lots of both Asian and continental options. I appreciated the menu changed a little daily. Super polite and helpful dining room staff.

Coffee can improve. I think it depends on the weather but on some days the AC system must have been super humid and it smelled in the lobby and room. Couldn't get rid of it by blasting the AC as I was getting a headache but the smell went away the next day.

Loved this hotel so much that we added one more night. Great location (right across the street from the train station) and a 10 minute walk to Liuhe Night Market. Also one block away from many bus stations (Xiao Liu Qiu and Kenting and other destinations.) The breakfast has a good selection of meats, veggies and fruits. They also offer complimentary ice cream, tea and snacks daily. The staff was super friendly, helpful and welcoming! It’s definitely one of our favorite hotels on this trip for sure!

Can't say enough about this hotel. Great location across the street from Main Station. Large room with a fabulous shower. Free laundry room with many washers and dryers. The lobby/ cafe area had plenty of tables for people to eat whatever takeout food they'd gotten but the hotel provides 1 free drinks and free snacks like ice cream, chips, coffee, tea. The included breakfast was a banquet with western foods and Asian foods of all sorts. Delicious coffee and tea. Spotless hotel.

Rooms with two single bed instead of one double bed would be better

The SERVICE was phenomenal; when we needed assistance grabbing our luggage from the storage room before jetting to the MRT, I called ahead, and staff kindly prepared everything for our quick turnaround. The breakfast buffet has a great selection; I personally enjoyed the congee, fresh fruit, and hot soy milk. Travelers with a Western palate will likely be less accustomed to the majority of the offerings; however, there are some cereals, an omelet-like dish, toast and spreads, juices, and coffee. Rooms and facilities are very clean. Of special note, the LAUNDRY facility has several washers and dryers, free for all guests to use, powder detergent provided. The first-floor café area has a nice midcentury-like decor with plenty of outlets and good wi-fi for working on laptops. The café also has unlimited ice cream and little snacks, plus a coffee bar. Each day, each room is provided a complimentary beer. Additional beers are available for purchase.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The breakfast was absolutely fabulous, offering a variety of delicious options to start the day. The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive, making my experience even more enjoyable. I also loved the common area, which was a perfect spot to relax and enjoy some ice cream and snacks. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming stay!

The toilet in the room did not have a bidet spray.

It was a great 4 day stay in Kaohsiung...one of the best hotels we"ve stayed in. The room was big, clean and comfortable. Toilet was with a bidet and a very good shower. It serves wonderful breakfast and the best part of the hotel is that it offers a 24 hour coffee, biscuits and ice cream counter for FREE! Its just so awesome. It is ideally located near the Kaohsiung main LRT station and next to and near some halal restaurants too. Very convenient for muslim travellers. The staffs are just great too, really friendly and so helpful. Kindness hotel is THE HOTEL to stay when you visit Kaohsiung

We had to pay a deposit of our stay upon booking - which was the whole amount of the 4 day stay and we had to pay the whole amount again when we checked into the hotel. The deposit will only be returned after 1 month from the date of our booking.
