The hotel is at an amazing location near the MRT and the Love River. The breakfast has couple of vegan options and there's a lovely vegetarian buffet restaurant right across the road. We were pleased with the staff who took care of our needs and made it a amazing experience. I would suggest you ask for 09 or 07 rooms, they have better view of the river. They even have coin laundry in the basement, so it's all very hassle free. Rooms are of decent size and the beds are quite comfortable. Don't forget to read the "365 Days for Travelers" book, it was really thought provoking.

Location need around 5 to 8 minutes walk to reach from MRT station Breakfast is superbly nice and staff are very friendly and professional to listening to your needs too. I get a complimentary drinks from their mini bar upon checking in Daily top up bottled water too

There is no nearby convenient store, Need to walk like 5~8 minutes for a nearest 7-11 So prepare your snacks/drinks before heading back to your room if you would afraid you will be hungry during the night

I had a great stay at Kaohsiung Holiday Inn Express hotel. Staff was very courteous, room are spacious and clean. The location of the hotel is amazing, close to the river, the heart of the town and very easy MRT access. The breakfast buffet was good with an important choice. I would recommend this hotel for your next stay in Kaohsiung.

Fantastic location. Short walk to river and station. Next to Pizza Rock and Smokey Joe's. Seamless check-in. Professional and fast. Folio provided upon check-out. Near many eateries and drinking holes.

Nothing I didn't like. It was a fine hotel with a wonderful breakfast. I wish my family and I stayed a week instead of 3 nights. I suppose it could have been cheaper, but I still thought it was great value for money.

The property is as good as it gets in a budget. Actually it felt as if we were staying at a 5 star property. From courteous staff to amazing breakfast. The staff at the restaurant for breakfast was extraordinary.

The breakfast is very welly prepared, even we are vegetarian, there are plenty of vegetarian choices. The restaurant staff demonstrates extra effort preparing food for our unwell son. Really appreciate that. Thsnks

Very friendly staff at reception and breakfast. Comfortable stay. Walking distance to riverside and metro. Great amenities all around. Self-service laundry for 100TWD.

The room was large, clean and comfortable. The beds were lovely and I loved the window seating space. Toiletries provided were also of great quality.

Thin walls, as I could hear the guests next door every night without fail. The noise woke my son up twice in our three night stay. The hotel also did not plan for a full booking but limited breakfast space. I waited for a long time on the first day, and was asked to wait even longer on the second day. I appreciate the change to a la carte set meals for safety but timing of service was not well thought out to allow efficiency. This would have inconvenienced many guests throwing them off schedule, as it did me.
