The hostel was nice, very clean and comfortable. Few minutes away from many restaurants, bars, shops and metro

Nice view from the room and from the rooftop, lots of markets nearby, walking distance from several attractions. There are vast common areas with a kitchen, washing machines and more.
The staff were nice, but didn't really behave in a friendly way like hostel staff usually does: they never even looked in our direction when we entered the building. They were helpful when we asked questions, but didn't show any initiative. The hostel is big, so it isn't cozy, and the common area has many desks and sofas with people doing their own thing, so it isn't the best place to meet other travellers unless you're very sociable.

Common room is great to hang out at. Staff is exceptional. Wi-Fi is strong throughout the building. Pro water, good water pressure in showers, hairdryers available. Strategic location, especially if arriving from the airport. Shared rooms are good bang for the buck. If your roommates are quiet, it’s easy to get a solid night’s sleep in the rooms I stayed in. No street noise, etc. Hot tip: turn on the mini fan to reduce CO2 accumulation and breathe easily during the night, otherwise there is no airflow at all.
Private rooms YMMV. They are convenient, but during weekends, when it’s busier, noise from neighbours, rooftop, street traffic can be heard all too easily all night. During weekends they are also pricier, you may be able to find a better deal around. Towels are rough, probably of age (I did get one nice soft towel at first, but housekeeping replaced it with another rough one the next day even though I haven’t really used it).

Great location right across from Central Park and the eponymous Kaohsiung metro station on the red line. Close to shopping, food, and entertainment. Staff was efficient and helpful. We were able to pre-checkin (get processed with passport etc) and stow our luggage in the public space on the second floor when we arrived earlier than the checkin time. There was a working elevator and a great communal kitchen area.
The triple room is a bit cramped for three people with luggage, and the facilities like the bathroom seem a bit dated, but seemed mostly clean. For this price, it’s still a great deal. There was no towel provided for the one in my group staying in the capsule, but they had some very inexpensive microfiber kind of little ones for sale.

The location is very convenient - just across the street from a metro station, two stops away from the main station and close to a nightmarket + other shops and connections. The way the hotel looks outside is really fun - definitely easy to find! And I liked the roof terrace with laundry (though you cannot hang out there much because of the poor air quality of the city). All in all, good value!
There wasn’t anything WRONG with the room, but the decor is very ascethic and doesn’t make you feel like home. Just a very basic, anonymous budget hotel room. Also, you have to pay for the laundry (but there is a coin exchange machine!).

The toilet and shower is big and clean!! There's bidet available, lots of free tissue paper! The top floor is a nice place to chill. They also have washing machines and dryers so it's very convenient! The water preasure is strong! All of the hair dryers work!
I stayed at the female dormitory. The room is very nice! Bed is comfortable. My only comment would be: maybe they can put more hooks on the wall for our clothes? Or place hooks inside the capsules. The capsule is a little bit dusty... I just place my phone for 5 minutes, and now it's full of dust. Other than that, I slept really well!! I stayed here for 6 nights and overall I am happy with the experience!

I've been here once before and enjoyed my time, so I choose this inn again when i traveled to Kaohsiung. The location is great. There is a night market around corner and several good restaurants. Bus stops and MRT is also close by. Perfect for solo travel or even with someone else.
The other guests didn't keep shared bathroom as clean as they should, but that's not the inns problem. They cleaned it fast enough. But If I'll be traveling with someone or as a group I'd probably choose a room with my own bathroom.

The place is quiet! Their lounge room at the 2nd floor is very chill and welcoming. The top floor was beautiful! There are front load washers and dryers available. The air is fresh, there's many tables and comfortable seats while you wait for your laundry to finish. ! I studied there for 6 hours! As for the rooms, I had 5 other roommates, but they were also quiet so I slept really well! The toilet is well lit, there's many tissue paper available, the water pressure is strong, there is free shampoo and body soap. The hot water works really well! I like this place so I will come back here again.
Hmm... can you add a "hook" inside the dorm cubicle so I can hang my clothes? The only hooks available were near the door, and they're too close together. Difficult to share with 5 other people. Also I feel like my dorm cubicle is a little bit dusty but I only see the dust flying when the sun is out. I stayed there for 6 nights and didn't get any allergies so I'm fine with it!

Good central location, close to MRT and not far from Liuhe Night Market. All the facilities you need for a comfortable stay - the lounge area was large and clean, although more power sockets would have been nice. Staff was helpful and there was always one of them who spoke English. There was information about the main attractions ready at hand. Beds had curtains for privacy which also kept the light out very efficiently. Power sockets and good internet. Nice to have a female-only wing, especially the bathroom, even though I suspect some of the male guests used it too instead of walking up to the next floor for the male bathroom. Not sure what the hostel staff can do though, it's clearly marked everywhere that it's for women only. Wasn't a problem for me (I only saw one guy brushing his teeth once) but it's a little annoying that some men don't respect this, especially when for some women it's very important to be able to relax when doing your facial routine or taking a shower in a female-only space. Maybe it will be better to make the whole floor female-only, and the next floor male-only?
The bathroom could have been cleaned more often or more thoroughly. There were often hair on the floor in the toilets. Hard to make sure everything is super clean all the time though when it's such a big hostel. Didn't find any problem with the showers though, they were quite clean. The lockers in the room were very small - you can't fit a laptop in there, just the basic valuables.

We stayed in a private room, which was very big and comfortable. The bathroom is good and clean. They have a cheap laundry machine and a dryer. Location is next to the metro and the Central Park. Very good hostel to stay a few nights. We actually stayed here 4 nights with two different bookings and it was no problem for the staff to get them together so we didn’t had to change rooms.
unfortunately our room 901 was on the street side and very loud, as the windows are not blocking any noise at night. The other rooms don’t have a window at the street so try and get a different than ours.
