Very friendly host who is willing to go the extra mile to make sure you make the most out of your stay around Sun Moon Lake. Extra mile meaning making recommendation on your planning, arranging taxi's, restaurant recommendations. We totally relied on our friendly host. Breakfast is delivered to your room every morning and is diverse and of good quality.

The owner service is very kind and nice. Always with smile. Thanks for upgrading our room to with bathtub. Kids love it. The room is so clean, out of expectation. Room service breakfast basket is excellent for family. (The price is reasonable and worth it.) Breakfast in basket is a great idea and very cute. Breakfast is worth it. Traditional rice ball with egg, so delicious. Cold tea is tasty, too. Sandwich is delicious, kids love it. Great location. Convenient to purchase tea and gift for friends and family at 1F. Will definitely visit it (兒茶宿) again in the future.

It is very close to the bus terminal and is very convenient for everything including bicycle rental, dinner and shopping. The hostel is within 2-minute walk to the waterfront. 7-11 is just next door. The room is spacious, beds are comfortable. Lighting is bright and adequate. Lift is available. The shower room is big and clean. Breakfast is served in the room. Dinner is included but is served at an local restaurant serving Ita Thao food next to the Shuishe Pier.

Our room was comfortable and clean, easily accommodating 3 adults. The bathroom had a unique layout that included a hinoki bathtub and standing shower, which was also very spacious. The property itself is located above a tea shop with many fine tea selections and snacks. It’s a 30 second walk to the main bus station and 7-11 (which, in Taiwan, conveniently has everything you need). Lastly, the host was incredibly hospitable, friendly, and helpful. She provided complimentary breakfast despite me accidentally selecting the wrong room reservation. She answered all my questions regarding sightseeing and travel options, and offered fantastic local recommendations. I would most definitely return to this B&B!

Very modern, clean, comfortable room. Warm water with nice pressure. On the main street but you don't hear the noise from the street. About 3 min walk from the lake, bus stop to go around the lake/back to Taipei just in front of the house, 7-11 as well. Plenty of restaurants around. Got upgraded room :)

Would be great to have check-in a bit sooner than at 16:00. You can store your luggage if necessary but need to be back at 19:00 latest

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff was really friendly, kind, and helpful, providing excellent recommendations for our itinerary. The location is fantastic, making it easy to explore the area. Additionally, the facilities were clean and well mantained. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay.

the host has taken the initiative to contact us before check in, offered to assist on direction and transportation so we felt welcomed already. once you walk in the door you will be welcomed by an intense tea brewing fragrant. we were served for different types is Taiwanese tea and also purchased quite a lot from them. we have 3 ppl in the group and we’re offered a super high room with 3 stories. very spacious and clean however we would not recommend this room type for elderly or ppl who needs walking aid, as the bathroom is located on the 3rd floor and staircases are unavoidable. Owner is also very helpful in giving advices on touring around the lake!

The host was incredibly friendly and helpful. We had half board included so the breakfast came in a little basket to our room - really loved that it contained typical taiwanese breakfast items and that it was even changing every day. For dinner we went to different restaurants in the close neighbourhood which was also really lovely. I would highly recommend booking this place!

The best stay in my 2 weeks in Taiwan. Host is very attentive and helpful. So thoughtful and extensive the breakfast that is provided. Also given a voucher for dinner at local restaurant get to try aboriginal cuisine. Big room, clean, really recommended. Also gives discount for bike shop, bike shop and bus stop to return to Taichung are located right opposite the hotel

Absolutely stunning property that’s right next to the bus stop that drops you off at Shuishe. The ground floor/check in is full of tea selections for you to try and shelves of different teas. The stay was really nice and comfortable. I got a free upgrade to a room that’s bigger with windows. The owners of the hotel are incredibly nice and welcoming. As a solo traveler it felt great to be able to have a casual conversation with the owner and enjoying some tea while checking in.

The price was slightly high for a single night’s stay but it’s to be expected on the weekend for a hotel that’s next to the lake. The place is also not right next to the lake so you don’t get the full lake view.
