At first we were given a subpar room and this was valentines day, so that wouldn't do. I asked to change and they quickly found a better room, which was way more pleasant and met all of our needs. The second room we had was good. Window to the interior away from the street noise. The bed was actually two twins pushed together, but we made it work. Bathroom had good water pressure and even temperature. It came with a fridge and we stored some foods in it. The place came with a parking spot, which helped us out a lot. Free breakfast in the morning wasn't too bad. There were a lot of guests staying there and it got a little crowded. They had congee, toast, fried veggies, teas, coffee, cereals, and other pastries. Not too shabby.

First room was a triple room, even though we booked a double, but actually it wasn't an upgrade. It was in need of repair, from the baseboard paneling being cracked to a mouldy odour. It was not great, but they moved us to a better room. The second room did have a slight sewage smell coming from the bathroom, so we kept the door closed. The aircon was too strong, but luckily they have an on/off switch and a toggle for high/low.

A slightly older, resplendent hotel with an impressive facade. A good breakfast offering. Cold AC, adequate hot water. Quality, darkwood room fittings, with a charming, isolated balcony/mini garden.

An ill-fitting wooden 2nd door, good for soundproofing, but impedes easy access into bathroom. The shower curtain does not cover the back part of the tub, hence impossible to avoid getting the floor wet after every shower. Hotel located off of a loud, busy, bustling street, one street behind the mall, but managed to remain isolated on its own - not easy to locate on first time.

The staffs are all very courteous & helpful when asked for information on directions. The breakfast is simple & good. It’s about 5-10mins walk from Taichung TRA train (local) station. This station is NOT the High Speed Train station which we misunderstood as same as the local train station. Many eateries in the area. Buses to places of interest are nearby too. Only be mindful that waiting time & route schedules can be frustrating.

Good location, Good close access to station (TRA & Bus), Friendly & helpful staff, Accommodated a 1 hour early check in, Clean (room serviced everyday), Good Wifi, Good room facilities (kettle & mini fridge), Comfortable & Very close to a Family Mart !

Nothing really but if being persnickety……the hotel + room are a little vintage (could do with an renovation). Bed mattress was a little hard. Breakfast items could be a little hotter and maybe some fresh fruit provided.

The staff was very friendly and supportive.They did the best to make the stay very comfortable for my Taiwanese partner and me.The staff gave us a very heartly welcome, I can recommend this hotel.

The design of the hotel is a bit outdated and from the 1990ies, so a bit updates would be nesccesary,

Breakfast was good but it would be better if hotel can change the menu a little the next day. Love the spaciousness of the triple room.

For beverages in room, there was no coffee, only tea bags. Would be nice if there was coffee. The TV channel is limited and there was no English newspapers not magazines in the lounge.

Great staff, great location next to station but quiet, 12 min walk to nearest night market. Excellent value for money, breakfast is ok (the usual stuff). The staff really are helpful, we very much appreciated when they helped us with our luggage and we got upgraded to a family room for free!

The staffs are courteous & helpful. The breakfast was simple & good. Would be better if they can change or rotate the items every other day. Distance between hotel & local train station is about 5-10 mins walk. Quite many eateries near hotel area.

The included breakfast is convenient and the hot soy milk was especially delicious. Staff is very friendly and accommodating.

Despite the old age of the hotel (a bit stuck in the 90s - a bit retro at this stage), staff made it a point to feel welcomed, they are extremely polite and well-mannered. The room is very comfy (you can entirely switch off the AC if you wish) and very well cleaned.

The facility could benefit from a slight renovation.
