The design of the hotel is amazing! The room was huge, with a window which could be opened so this is for a plus. Breakfast is also nice, especially a beef soup.

There was a lingering smell of cigarette smoke in the room. Smoking is banned so it does not look like it is being properly enforced. It was annoying as if not this I would give the hotel a 10 score. But at least I could open a window slightly so I managed to air the room a bit. Location is ok, it's reasonably close to the train station (better to walk on the right hand side of the road when walking from the station, there are less little steps on the way) but there is not much around.

Our room was a very good size and nicely renovated. I liked that the washbasin was outside the toilet/shower, and that there was a nice long counter for us to put our makeup/toiletries/food etc. Breakfast is a set main dish that you had to pick the night before. The buffet is very limited.

We had an issue on our second last day. When we got back to the room in the evening, my friend's soft toy had disappeared. We searched the whole room and it wasn't there. Turns out the cleaners, while changing the sheets, had just bundled everything up (including the soft toy on the bed) and sent it to the laundry. Since the hotel laundry is outsourced, we weren't able to get it back before we left Tainan, but they did retrieve it and mail it to our hotel in Taipei, which was much appreciated. Hopefully they'll take more care in the future.

the staff were super friendly and the room was awesome! it was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was spacious. they gave us free water, snacks, tea, coffee, etc. and the breakfast was also really yummy! it was mostly taiwanese-style options but they also had some bread/toast available if you’re looking for something slightly more western. they also have luggage storage if you want to explore more of tainan after checkout! only about a 10 minute walk to the train station so it’s very convenient

The overall cleanliness of the hotel and rooms surpass many of the hotels in Taiwan. The room is very well designed and it is very practical. The breakfast was great.

Washlet could be added so that it's much more convenient. Unfortunately there was of a bit of curry smell from the curtains but that's a minor issue.

Really lovely staff and modern facilities in the room. Adequate breakfast.

The layout of our room was a bit odd. Essentially there was no separate bathroom so it was all quite open. We saw the layout of some other rooms that were being cleaned and some had worse layouts (i.e. even more open than ours) but others had better layouts where there was more privacy.

I liked the location as it was close to the train Station. I enjoyed the made breakfast dishes of which you had a choice of three. The room was very quiet for sleeping. The wifi was good. I found the hotel to be a good value.

My bed had a firm mattress and I had to request another comforter to sleep on. The bathroom did not have a water gun for use in the toilet as many others do in Taiwan.

Excellent small hotel with superb personalised service. Comfortable room and amenities, good breakfast and dining room. Ten min walk from station but best done by taking lift down on station side, crossing under Beiman Road, then walking down Beiman Road to hotel a few blocks south as the pavement is flatter w less steps up and down on that side.

The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The service staff was terrific; cleaning the room and providing new supplies every day. The room was large as was the bed. The hotel is very nice and clean.

The elevator was small and slow. The bed was on the hard side, but still slept well. Not many restaurants in the area of the hotel.

TV screen is big and cleanly room. Also has Xiaomi kettle and hairdryer. Their staffs are friendly.

Aircon not so cold as what we expected even though we adjusted to lowest temperatures with highest fan speed.

Excellent accommodation with comfortable room and amenities. Fantastic breakfast with local specialities. A short walk from the train station and buses to visit conveniently Tianan. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Nothing, really. I found the hotel to be a good value, so I would back if I had the opportunity.
