Good value hotel with a great location, in a walkable distance to Huashan Creative Park, Simple Kafka flagship store, and Hikiniku To Come hamburg restaurant. The staff also very kind to us, very friendly. Sometimes they give us a bottle of water for us each before we leave the hotel. The price also includes breakfast, which is pretty good

Room is not soundproof at all (small gap under the door) so you could hear noises from other rooms. Room fixtures show a bit of age, we found a bit of leakage below toilet and shower head holder is loose from the wall. But the staff is kind enough to change us to a new and more spacious room.

The staff were absolutely brilliant; the room was spacious and spotless; breakfast excellent.

Initial problems with wifi in the room - it took until day 4 to solve this. But there was always good wifi in the foyer, and the staff were very responsive to complaints!

Great Customer service - helped me find glasses I lost by calling and talking to a museum that lead to the safe return of my sunglasses. They always offered us water when leaving and even complementary large umbrellas to borrow. We are vegan and they cooked us a special meal each morning it was so lovely. Lovely snacks in room that were replenished when the room was cleaned. On days we didn’t need the room cleaned the room service lady offered us drinks and towels with a warm smile. Room- good plug for charging. Bath and wet room shower. Kettle with cups and spoons was great

Location- a little noisy (our room faced the Main Street) a walk from stations, used Uber a bit more here but worth it for the great service.

We were so impressed with this lovely boutique hotel. The staff at the front reception made us feel so welcoming from the minute we walked in. Giving us wonderful tips on where to go & great restaurant locations too. I would highly recommend staying here as it's very central to everything. We especially liked the free laundry room on 10th floor. Very impressive providing morning & afternoon refreshments for hotel guest. The little thoughtful gestures certainly is a plus to return here again 🙌

I loved staying at this gorgeous hotel. The staff were super friendly and when I lost my easy card, Mei did all she could to help me locate it by calling the relevant lost and found agencies. The room was large and the bed very comfortable. The bathroom had a walk in shower and a bath tub. Breakfast was a treat every morning as there was a variety of options to choose from. The meat hot dish was different every day and very tasty. The hotel was about 8 minutes walk to the nearest MRT and there were lot of restaurants nearby.

BREAKFAST : the BF area can accommodate around 42pax. Usually crowded unless you eat after 9am. By which time, some of the spreads are not replenished. BF selection is limited but you can get by with a decent meal. No hot station eg sunny side eggs, etc. ROOM : The configuration of each room can defer. I stayed in Rm 803 where the closet door gets in the way with the shower door. The height of the bed is on a low side but comfortable. LOCATION : 12-18mins walk to the train stations depending on which train lines you take. So, it is not so ideal especially when you are tired. But taking Uber is affordable especially if you are a group of 4. The plus point is that there are many restaurants on the left side of the hotel. LAUNDRY : You can wash, and tumble dry your laundry on the 10th floor. Detergent is provided free. STAFF : Friendly service staff which can help you with your itinerary, etc I have stayed in this hotel in 2015 & 2023 for 5 nights each time. Somehow, I felt that my experience in 2015 is better than 2023. May be I have grown older and expected more. Nevertheless, Ambience is still a good hotel to stay if you dont mind the longer walk to the train stationsFa.

The room rate is not cheap considering it is a 3 stars hotel and the distance to the train station. These days, most hotels in Taipei provide breakfast as an option. At Ambience, breakfast is included. If you prefer to venture out for local or simple breakfast, then you may not consider Ambience.

The room is very similar to what is pictured. Their breakfast offers limited but varied enough items, primarily for Asian tastes. There was always egg, bread, porridge + toppings, rice, fruits, and sauteed veggies. The hotel is between the green and blue metro lines and has nearby bus stops under 300m. All their staff are also very caring and welcoming throughout our stay. The morning front desk always offers bottled water every time we go out. And the housekeeping staff are dependable and trustworthy.

While just a minor thing, I would prefer that windows have a sheer curtain under the black-out curtains. The indoor lights are bright enough, but I like natural light.

It was clean, bright with great WiFi and breakfast!

Location wise - a bit far from where my family is located (East of Taipei City), which is not a huge issue.

We had a wonderful time in Taipei staying in the ambience hotel. Despite what other reviews were saying, the location of the hotel is perfect. You are exactly between the blue and green line and even the red line is accessible. These bring you basically to every corner in the city. The room was comfortable and the staff super friendly and helpful. We got a free room upgrade as soon as we checked in so we were able to have a nice city view as well. Every day when we left the building the staff gave us a little present for our day eg water bottles or tissues to clean surfaces. The breakfast is good for locals and foreigners alike. Here is something others do not mention: this hotel is super close to the japanese district. So if you are into karaoke bars and japanese bars in general, you can walk there in 5min. We had two funny very long evenings there. I highly recommend this hotel and definitely plan to come back when we are in Taipei again. Thank you for everything :)

Everything about the hotel was exceptional and we are sure to return back to the hotel because of the experience Steve, Andy and their team gave us. The staff were courteous, super clean and comfortable rooms and washrooms, great location ( centrally located), great breakfast spread which was super delicious- we were amazed by the variety served on all the eight days we stayed. Complimentary night snacking too were provided at the reception area between 9 pm and 5 am. Steve left us a thank you note as he wasn't around while we checked out on the last day ! We are avid travellers and have stayed in multiple hotels, this was the first time we felt deeply touched while leaving a hotel, we felt like we were leaving our home ! Thank you for the experience team 🙏 We'll come back for sure.
