The rooms and facilities are fun and clean. It is a hotel in an old bank. It is opposite Huashan Cultural Park which has lots of boutique shops and cafes and is relaxing to walk around. Some of the staff speak English well and are helpful. The rooms are very well appointed. Also there are free candy and savoury snacks 24hrs a day, which is fun for the kids.

The beds are very firm, a bit too firm for me. The breakfast wasn't amazing and we didn't have it included in the price so we crossed diagonally over the road to Louisa Cafe which has great options for a more western style breakfast and coffee at a very reasonable price.

1. For those who are sensitive to noises. The wall or door might be a bit thin as I could hear the noises even in the middle of the night (cleaning / people closing the door). 2. I love the design overall but the ceiling was very high, with the rough texture of concrete or something, it would be great to have it in the living room but I personally felt a bit unsecured sleeping underneath it by myself. 3. The smell of the room is a bit weird and it took me a while to be used to it. Well, it’s not a 5-star hotel so I’m okay with all these things. But I won’t recommend it to my parents (the elderly people).

Staffs were really friendly and helped us a lot. The decoration of the room, the old time candy bar and the coin idea are quite nice to experience.

Perhaps one personal stuff: the bed is bit too hard for side sleeper. We were here for 7 nights and in the end both side of our hips are hurting. And breakfast are nice but would love to have more changes since on booking.com it shows very good breakfast. and I somehow remember I booked room with window. perhaps I made a mistake but I choosed a bit more expensive one. Without window is really scary. Since one of us had a cold I don‘t want to bother the staff to check it and maybe to change room, I know how people reacted now when someone got a cold.

Location is great because it's just across the Creative Park --- it's also near 3 train stations, so that's a plus! There are lots of great cafes and bars and restaurants around --- we could have honestly stayed in this area for the entire trip and even longer :) The design is also so cool. But most importantly --- the place is so neat and clean, and the staff is warm, always helpful, and nice.

There's nothing that we didn't like that much! It's difficult to find a flaw.

I love the attention to details on this hotel and how clean the rooms were. It’s also located in a safe and clean neighbourhood and very near a bus and train station. There are several convenience stores nearby and a few stores are walking distance. Housekeeping service was fast and follows instructions. My kids love the hotel so much that they want to stay here again when we go back to Taipei.

The beds were too hard for my taste.

Quirky hotel that is well located. Room was clean and lovely. Bunk bed setting for quadruple room allowed us a lot of privacy each despite being in a small room. Free flow snacks available for guests. Water dispenser with hot water located on every floor.

There is a large column in the middle of the room which left us with very little usable space. We also were unaware that there are no windows in the room.

The hotel is centrally located and it’s close proximity to the MRT adds to its value. Staff is friendly, helpful and hardworking.

The room is on the smaller side and the bed was quite hard. I had to be moved one time due to an odor in my room on the ground floor, the hotel staff was very eager to solve the issue for me and was very helpful in assisting me switching rooms.

The design of each room and cleanliness.. staffs are friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good.

For sleeping, there should have a small light to use in case need to use the toilet. Otherwise it was complete darkness when the room lights are switched off.. Useful to consider a small light near bed table counter.

We got a good welcome at check-in. The room was clean and had everything we needed - including multi-standard electricity sockets. The MRT was just a short walk away and it was easy to get around Taipei.

The bed was a little firm for my taste and the breakfast was squarely aimed at Asian tastes.

Very spacious and clean room with a big comfortable bed, spacious shower and despite the location in the city centre no outside noise in the room. The theme, related to the old bank building it is, is nicely referred to in the hotel decoration.

No negative points.
