I had multiple options for breakfast, which was really good. I expected it to be a small hotel, but in fact, it was pretty big and offered excellent rooms. Since I used the MRT for traveling in the city, it was pretty accessible as well. You can directly exit the MRT station and to the hotel. The staff were super friendly and catered to my needs.

Check-in time was really late. But it wasn't an issue for me because I arrived late, but it might be an issue for other travelers. The price is a bit on the higher end in retrospect, but it does offer a lot of stuff.

After my room was changed because of an air conditioning problem all was fine and my new room was excellent. I note that others also report bad air conditioning so this is a problem the hotel is clearly not addressing. Hotel is right next to the MRT. The Taiwan food restaurant in the hotel is excellent, mainly patronised by Taipei residents.

Air conditioning initially. My booking promised a view but in the original room that was a view between the hotel and the building next door. Breakfast was a bit disappointing in both places it is offered

I've been traveling to Taiwan for 31 years and have always made a point at staying at Brother Hotel when in Taipei. Perfect location for shopping, public transportation and restaurants. The staff is the friendliest in Taiwan. The food at the Brother restaurant is old school Taiwanese. The rooms are clean and roomy. Just a great old school hotel! I highly recommend it!

Honestly can't think of anything I didn't like.

The Brother Hotel is a warm and wonderful hotel in one of the world's top cities. The reception, breakfast room, and housekeeping staffs are superb. This is one of the cleanest hotels I've ever stayed in. I stayed here many times over the past seven years--due to the pandemic, this was my first stay since October 2019. There are a number of good restaurants in and around Brother as well as shopping. The adjacent MRT gets you anywhere in the city with ease. I can only heap praise upon this hotel with finding a single thing to criticize.

Super breakfast. Because I need to rush to HsinChu early in the morning, sometimes I need to skip the breakfast. The hotel allows me to invite friends to breakfast for unused coupon, which is super for me!

check in time 4pm, which is one hour later than a typical hotel! Check out time 11am, which is another hour lost compared to other hotels.

There is hot water for both basin tap and bath tap. Bed is big with good spring support. And also right at the doorstep of the mrt

Breakfast everyday almost same, but the braised pig is good, so my hubby and me ate it almost everyday for 5 breakfast. No microwave, this is important as Taipei got lots of nice food in their small mart/

Great location, friendly staff and close to everything.

The previous guest of one of our rooms smoked in the room. Cigarette butt was left on the carpet and bed sheet had cigarette smell. Told the cleaning staff the next day and they changed the sheet and did some extra cleaning. Other than that, we are very happy with our stay.

there is an MRT right in front of the hotel that connects you with lots of other lines. Also lots of shops for food around the hotel. Daily free water bottles and early breakfast available. Staff also spoke English and were always willing to help.

My view was a back alley with motorcycles.

Room size in standard room is above average for Taipei and rooms are quiet and comfortable. Location is central and nearest gate to Taipei's excellent metro is just a few steps from the hotel entrance. Some of the hotel's restaurants are so popular that there is almost always a queue (head waiter will hand over a waiting number). Lobby and other public areas are very retro is a positive way. I was delighted to find airmail envelopes in a drawer!

A/C is set at quite a cool temperature in restaurants and public areas, so better pack some long-sleeved clothing even at summer time. Similarly in the rooms A/C system's basic temperature is set on the cool side; some guests might find it a bit problematic although the blankets for beds are very warm.

Excellent location and provides parking space for customers. There’s a MRT station beside the property that you can easily to travel. The lobby is big and comfortable and the staff were very kind. We were luckily to have a room with the city views. The staying was cozy, and you can watch Netflix on TV. Besides, the sound-proofing is very nice, we didn’t hear any noises from other rooms nor the hallway. Breakfast provides different eggs meals, and we were enjoyed. Very awesome hotel.

Parking area is shared with restaurant customers, it might hold you on waiting if the parking space are full.
