Staff nice n consistent , clean and staff clean daily and security is on point . Meals were lovely. Play ground for children , garden very beautiful .

Location far from beach or city . Waiting time for evening meals. Need big rooms for families. Menu options restricted after meal times for 24 room service. Some options on menu were finished. On check out there was an error on the receipts which showed meals we did not order the error was highlighted when we queried this. Customers should get receipts and pay for items on the day not on checkout days. The wardrobe structure with kettle below hanger section not good.

Very nice hotel that exceeded my expectations. It feels very new and everything is to a high standard. It is within 5 minutes walk from the airport yet you cannot hear the planes from inside. We sat by the pool for a few hours and there are not enough planes taking off to make it a nuisance. Food is good and very good value. Location is perfect when you are arriving late into Zanzibar and a short taxi ride into Stone Town.

Despite saying they will pick you up from the airport - they don’t! And taxis will charge you 10 USD to do the 500m drive!

Great hotel in close walking distance to the airport. We stayed here as we had a very early flight and it met all of our expectations. The hotel and room is extremely clean, providing all of the necessary amentities for a short or long stay,

There was intermittent power outages resulting in us waiting close to 2 hours for our food room service to be delivered. The power cuts may not have been a fault of the hotel and external, however letting us know of the timeframes up front would have been good as we had to get to bed early to wake up at 2am for our flight.

Beautiful property with great, modern facilities. The bed was huge and super comfortable.

They offered a complimentary airport pick up. I confirmed this twice a month before we arrived as we had an early mourning arrival of 1:30am. I also reconfirmed the day before we arrived and was assured a driver would be waiting for us. During our flight they sent a message that we couldn’t receive saying no one would be picking us up. We arrived and waited for half an hour and rang the hotel. They finally sent someone but he had the sign( with our name on it) folded in half and hidden from view. Please don’t offer a service and confirm it then fail to do it. Everything else about the hotel was delightful. It was extremely clean and modern and comfortable and the staff were lovely.

Right at the entrance, we were welcomed with a smile from the ladies at reception Germana, Narhada and Lulu; to the gentleman that showed us to our room, Mohammed; to the amazing staff at the resturant Aisha and Jackson - words cannot express how grateful I am to them. They gave us a great impression which proceeded a not so pleasant stay at our first hotel. The respectful gestures from Aisha and Jackson at the resturant are proof that, when a place is intentional on hiring quality, that place reaps way more than they would hope for. Narhada and Germana do not stop smiling irrespective of how hectic one's day is. I cannot forget the housekeeping ladies that cleaned our room 301 on 14th February. Very ethical, professional and tenderly attended to us. The food - this hotel is blessed to have the chefs for one cannot tell if it is one chef or many - the quality remains the same with an excellency to give celebrity chefs a run for their money!! Thank you Golden Tulip Airport hotel, for giving us a beautiful mid and end stay to our mother-son vacation, in Zanzibar. May all who go through your doors, come out feeling rejuvenated like we did.

Very Nice Hotel. Comfy beds. Nice pool. We stayed here the last day in ZNZ so we could be close to the airport, very Nice :)

You can hear E V E R Y T H I N G! Everyone in the hallway, the ones in the room bext door, the planes++ alot of noice. Not soundproof at all. There were lots of flies inside the restaurant were you est breakfast and dinner.. Not the best food. One of the sunbeds had a broken foot, this should really be fixed.

Everything: we needed a hotel close to the airport due to the flights being in the early hours of the morning and the location of this hotel was just perfect 5 minutes walk to the airport. The hotel is exceptionally clean, staff are very nice. Swimming pool is clean and sun lounging area is very convenient to catch the last bit of sun tan. Room is not too big but very clean and cosy. Ours was with the view to the runway, and was very nice, hotel is soundproof, so noise from planes doesn't bother at all.

We stayed at the hotel after our flight from France as we felt it was useless to drive one hour to our holiday destination late in the evening. The hotel is located two minutes drive away from the airport. Staff was very welcoming and pleasant, room comfortable with a very nice bed, great bathroom with italien walk in shower, nice terrasse and pool area. A great hotel for a night after or before your flight or if you want a modern hotel in Zanzibar city with easy access to Stone town. Very good value for money.

Breakfast could be better

Good standard room with all necessary amenities. Comfortable bed. Very kind and attentive staff. The kids' play area and pool are nice. Food is surprisingly good and reasonably priced.

Windows do not open, so you have to use the AC. It is understandable because of the location, but not so suitable for folks like me who tend to get a cough from ACs.

Super clean hotel, with very friendly and helpful staff. The place looks just like the pictures, and is worth the price. Conveniently located by the airport, but still just a short drive to Stonetown (15 min). Not bothered at all by the airport so close, little to no noise. We used it as our base between safari and going to the beaches in Paje. Stored our luggage safely for 5 days (free of charge) while we were on safari, witch was a big reason for us choosing this hotel, and we were very happy with that choice. Great breakfast buffet. We also did some remote working from here, and the hotel is suitable for that. Good WiFi.
