A beautifully presented hotel, right in the middle of town but set far back from the road and very quiet. The grounds were peaceful, 2 pools to choose from and the views from the top pool were stunning. Many great restaurants, and the beach, only a few minutes walk. We were booked to stay 3 nights and ended up extending to 12 nights. Would definitely stay again

The only slight issue was that the TV in the room didn't work. However, they did do their very best to try and fix it.

We booked the queen and wow the views were absolutely amazing. Golf buggy on demand to take you to and from your room. Breakfast as an add on was pricey so we opted to buy croissants from 7/11 each night to have on the balcony for breakfast

Spectacular view, super spacious room and bathroom, awesome day bed and wirl bath tub on balcony, very clean, Infinity pool amazing and staff was also very friendly. Location is great too everything in minutes walking distance.

We missed hangers for the towels, especially at the wash basin and light in bathroom much too dark.

We enjoyed the infinity pool overlooking the islands & ocean, also the view from our hotel room (we had the highest room with a jacuzzi on the balcony). Amazing waking up with such a spectacular view. The location was in a PRIME spot, walking distance to everything with great restaurant options nearby. The reception staff was very helpful & friendly.

The tables by the sunbeds were always full of dirty plates and glasses... the service at the pool is really not attentive, staff just standing behind the bar instead of cleaning the guest areas. In one day we had to ask them 2 x times in 10min to please clear the table at the beds so we can use the table and sun chairs. The beds should be bigger in the rooms. Cleaning services should be done earlier in the day and not around 5pm only. The bathroom is also a bit dark and needs brighter lights by the mirror.

The price / the value for money - for Thailand it is perhaps on the high side. Breakfast wasn’t included and when we were offered it, it’s an additional 400b per person per day. No pier/wharf pick up - the hotel will arrange a pick up for a very inflated price. I suggest having Bolt or Grab and booking transfers that way. It was more than half the price.

The location is good and close to everything.

The breakfast is not replenished, very remote rooms without the possibility of transportation to the room, unclean rooms.

This was our third time at Tipa and we enjoyed it at least as much as the first two times. There have made a couple of improvements since last time we visited, which were more than welcomed. The infinity pool is really amazing, the views are incredible. The breakfast is plentiful, not a lot of options but decent. We wouldn't recomment the on-site restaurant for other meals, but there are so many meal options around that you will not feel this as a disadvantage. The staff is absolutely amazing, only smiles and eager to help you as best as they can. The rooms are comfortable and quiet. We stayed in the older ones because we prefer given that we travel with young kids. But for couples, the new rooms with ocean views are very good and worth the price. Best of all, you are paying for the location. Ao Nang can be really crowded and noisy. Having a quiet place so close to the beach is the main highlight. We definitely recommend Tipa and we are pretty sure we will return for a fourth stay!

We loved the view from the room - the large windows opening to that view was amazing. The pool with infinity edge looking at the mountains and sea was a highlight, so nice to relax beside it! The entire room was large, clean, and the bathroom looked new! We loved the cart service that would bring us to/from the room, it was fun and the staff were so lovely that it was fun (not annoying). The location was perfect for us to walk up/down the main street for dinner. The booking desk helped us book multiple items, she was so kind and patient with us, all our experiences were great!

It’s a little run down in places, but overall very nice and would stay again. They could improve by testing showers work well, providing two pillows per guests standard and leaving a spare toilet roll as we often ran out. Nothing major and everything is resolved really quickly by the great staff team. The property is on a huge hill and often had quite a wait for the golf cart so maybe adding another cart would also be an improvement, we often ended up walking. That being said the guys who drive you are super funny and friendly.
