Bida Resort was a budget hotel, rooms satisfactory clean and large. Having a restaurant and Seven 11 next door is really good, restaurant is cheap and very good. .

Location is about 4km out of Ao Nang Beach where all the action is, however we did have motorbikes, so was not much of a problem for us. The beds in the rooms are extremely uncomfortable and you are only given one pillow,. We had a party of 8 people and everyone complained about them. The pool area is nice but basic.

The rooms were gorgeous and very spacious, well appointed amenities in the room too. The planting on the property is so lush and gorgeous, very resort vibe. Pool is lovely too. Also the Thai have hard beds everywhere, we’ve found these one of the softer more comfortable hard beds on our trip. Really convenient right next to a 7/11 and not to far a walk from the beach or night market if you like to walk, (not overly close for those that aren’t walkers though) the couple that run the resort have a Tuktuk and will take you for one free trip per day to Noprat Tara beach, Ao Nang beach or Ao Nang night market (which is a must) and there are plenty of Tuktuks to get back for around ฿150. We think this is an ideal location if your looking for a bit of peace and quiet but still being close to the action! They will also arrange tours for you and Wanna saved us half the retail price on the brochure for the Hong island day trip and there were several other options she’s already discounted, great service! They also have a lovely breakfast at the property between 9.30 and 11.30 for just ฿150pp with eggs in different styles, sausage, coffee, tea, juice, toast and fruit or a Thai breakfast by arrangement the previous day. There is also a really great cafe just a short 1min walk down the road open from 7am-9pm. Overall fantastic value for money! Really affordable and really great value for what you get! We would definitely be happy to stay again!

The only downside was the soundproofing, we found the road noise at night was louder than expected, ok for us to sleep but would be harder for those that are light sleepers and can hear the next room (albeit your only attached to one, there two rooms to a building) so can hear some doors or louder noises from next door. We had quite quiet neighbours during our week here apart from one family further down whose kids were up early and quite loud which woke us up a couple of mornings. But honestly that’s all being pretty nick picky! We loved our stay.

Whole resort was clean, room also. Personel were helpful and kind every time. For big plus free one-way tuc tuc to Ao Nang center, beach and night market. Usually road takes 50min of walk. Pool was a great cooling place after all day.

Our bed was stiffed a lot. I had a feeling, we slept at wooden desk. We had our personal lizard in the room. I guess she was entering by window in the toilet, but is not a minus - it's Thailand :)

I loved the family owned vibe. They put pride into their place. Everything was clean. The room was done up beautifully with a towel swan on the bed. Had a hairdryer and kettle with cups and coffee in the room. Had a refrigerator. Has a lovely family restaurant at the resort which is so cheap for the amazing food that they sell. Pool was extremely clean and crystal clear. Very picture worthy and has a jungle aesthetic. Close to the Elephant sanctuary where you can feed or bathe the elephants. They offer free tuk tuks to the beach or markets. Right next door to a 7 Eleven.

I have no complaints, but take your mosquito spray with.

The staff was always helpful, they give great price for the tours and free tuk tuk rides. The place is full of plants and there's a nice swimming pool. The location is great, close to the beach and nice food places.

The breakfast options (as in all other places in Thailand, including Bangkok) are pretty limited. Also the bathroom is a bit weird as while taking a shower the whole floor gets wet.

Helpful staff and the free tuk tuk to Ao Nang beach & Ao Nang Night market. The rooms are lovely, the gardens are well kept and lush. The swimming pool is great. Breakfast is good too. We liked everything!

Nothing. Everything was great. There are lots of mosquitoes but that cannot be helped, just use repellent.

The property itself is a tropical oasis. Pool and area are beautiful. Big spacious rooms. Very good restaurant right next door. We used the free tuk tuk to the market and beach every day. Staff were great.

Bed was a little hard. Could get Kind of noisy at times as the hotel is located on a busy street.

The receptionist lady, she might have been the owner, was truly amazing. She helped us with soo many things, including laundry/ booking day trips/ ferry’s/ transfers at a very good price and made our stay super easy and comfortable.

Perhaps a bit far from the centre, but saying that they have offered us a free tuk tuk service daily to the Main Street and beaches. So nothing really.

Nice and clean hotel with a swimming pool. It's a little bit from the center, but the hotel provides an awesome free shuttle service with a tuk tuk to the center Next to the hotel are some restaurants and a 7/11

The check in could be better and more early

The best staff we’ve had in Thailand after 2 months of travelling. Free Shuttles to night market and beaches. The laundry service had my clothes spotless and not expensive either.

Not the properties fault but one night there was an idiot outside with a really loud car reving his engine for 10 mintues
