Poolsawat was a very good and affordable stay. The rooms are basic and slightly dated but kept very clean and tidy. The view we had from our balcony was spectacular, we could see the pool and the sea, amazing! The breakfast was very good, not a huge selection but all very tasty. We also bought lunch and dinner quite a few times at the hotel restaurant as it was convenient and very tasty, and cheaper than other restaurants in the area. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We were travelling for quite some time when we arrived here so we could get our laundry done by the hotel, very cheap, and was washed and ironed, smelled amazing. Pool was nice and could be used at all hours of the day and night. Everything you need for a comfort stay. It’s about a 15 minute walk to the main Lamai beach and high street, so it’s much quieter here, which we liked. The hotel arranged a taxi for us in the morning to the airport for 600baht.

Slightly dated rooms and bathroom could do with some TLC. Pool was missing some tiles which I cut my toe on. The beach is small and quiet, really only used by poolsawat and one other neighbouring hotel guests but also the view is ruined by the many boats. The water is not as clear here as the boats and pier stop the current, but this also means it’s calm and there are no waves. If you want to go to other places you do need a scooter to get around. Taxis are expensive from here.

Top feature is the perfectly sized pool, no doubt. The villas though are just as great, spacious with large comfortable bed. The staff is lovely and so are the beautiful ladies at reception. Although the property is off the street, the place is peaceful. An outdoor gym is just across on the beachside, vibes old school, unpretentious and basic, free of charge, based on donations. Good value for sure!

Perhaps the obstructed view of the ocean as there are little boats everywhere. But you are free to walk to either side and then it clears up, so this is really a very minor thing…

quite affordable hotel at Lamai, staff is very polite and rooms are quite comfy (there are rooms at the side of the street and bungalows at the garden). pool area is quite nice and big and is a real treat. breakfast is just okay, nothing spectacular. there is a beach in front of hotel but not clean. coconut water for welcome much appreicated. water bottles refilled every day. very affordable compared to other hotels.

there is some noise in the rooms that face the street (the bungalows should be more quiet but more expensive). insulation is quite bad, so you can hear the people next door. i found the airco not easy to set in evening mode, either it was too cold or too hot so had problem sleeping. the beach in front of the hotel not very suitable for swimming but you can walk some time to the lengthy Lamai beach.

Nice place to stay, just the right distance from Lamai city center to have a silent night.

Actually, you can not swim in the sea in front of the hotel, as the water is not the cleanest. But everything changes after a few hundred meters walk :)

Clean, great location lovely swimming pool and nice food on the beach. The thing I like most is the staff they’re so nice and friendly and will help with anything they really make the place stand out. Also delicious food and good prices! The cleaners also do a great job and are very nice people.

Just that it’s on the main road but you soon get used to the noise from the road it wasn’t a problem for me personally.

This is a very friendly hotel. Staff always gave a lovely welcome. It is extremely clean and well run. The pool is a great size for someone who likes to swim lengths. I stayed in one of the rooms in the main building which backs on to the main road. Because the hotel is located outside Lamai the traffic noise was not too bad at night and I slept well. The Villas are totally protected from traffic noise. Breakfasts were great. The fishing boat harbour opposite the hotel mean that you are better to walk a couple of hundred yards to get to cleaner water

Lovely little hotel with a really nice pool at the quiet end of Lamai Beach. Villas are spacious and quiet, staff were very helpful and kind, breakfasts were plentiful. Quite a few little restaurants nearby (and a 7-11 across the road) and only 10 or 15 minutes walk to the main part of Lamai Beach. A great option if you want the best of both worlds.

Bathrooms could do with a renovation

Fabulous hotel and if you can afford get one of the poolside villas as a treat. Great buffet breakfast and on the beach which they keep clean and plenty loungers in shade or sun.

Road noise if staying in main hotel can wake you early .. the bedroom doors face a very busy main road.. easily fixed with soundproof doors!

This is a great hotel located on the beach and away from the action. It's about a 15 minute walk to resort town of Lamai. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean, quiet and safe. The restaurant at the hotel serves good food at a reasonable price.

Poolsawat Villas are just perfect for a family stay. Location is perfect on a quiet & beautiful beach but still very close from Lamai center. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and clean. We loved the amazing pool overlooking the beach, and the food at the restaurant was very nice. Staff was friendly, smiling and helpful to organize our stay.
