Beautiful stay at Renaissance for a week. Stunning grounds, beautiful room, access to own beach. Staff were friendly and incredibly helpful. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Very quiet and serene place. Super friendly staff. Great buffet for breakfast. Clean beach with kayaks. Nice ambiance.

Internet was quite bad, especially the Guest in-room one, could barely catch it and not every time. Could only connect properly to the Public network near the reception area. Also to warn that the stairs in the beach infinity pool were not safe. Our son cut his foot quite seriously on the stairs and our daughter tripped on them too. The hotel staff was very helpful though, they bandaged our son’s foot and changed the bandage the next day too.

Excellent friendly staff who noticed your preferences at breakfast and around the resort grounds. Very good choice of food at breakfast. Daily specials. Excellent choice of freshly cooked egg dishes. Excellent pool with good service at poolside bar. Beach is small but attractive and kept very clean. Special services associated with wedding event were highly tailored and well presented.

Provide a slightly wider selection of drinks at poolside bar. Speed of service at main restaurant needs to be quicker. Over an hour from ordering to delivery of main course on three occasions. Appeared to be insufficient cooking staff at most popular times.

The room was stunning, large, elegant and comfortable. The courtyard and pool was exceptional and made it hard to leave. The pool area and beach is stunning, and one of the better spots on the island for that time of year, as the ocean was protected so could enjoy swimming. The breakfasts were divine, the view divine, the staff attentive.

We ate dinner in the restaurant one evening - it was extremely over-priced, and the food was not great (it did have a beautiful view from the terrace).

The staff and hospitality was superb! So many details were looked after to make it feel extra special and luxurious. The spa was beautiful as well and the therapists were great. The fresh food with many options at breakfast (and their accommodation for vegetarian) was also super lovely.

If you stay in the rooms (not the villas), it can be a little walk from there to the main areas for breakfast, the beach and one pool. However, they do offer a buggy service if you are unable to walk. The beds and pillows were too soft, but thats a personal preference ;) The beach in front is VERY shallow, so swimming isn't really possible. But its beautiful and when the tide is in, you can SUP and kayak. Not a criticism of the hotel, just an FYI Overall, everything was great!

the room was incredibly beautiful, they upgrade us a room with sea view which was lovely. the breakfast was also really satisfying people working there were really nice and sweet

in the shower the water was just hot or cold. the dinner menu was bad, you need to make a reservation which was odd. it far from the lamai center and we thought we can walk but the weather was incredibly hot and the road is a bit scary because there were not many facilities, houses or open anything while you were walking.

We enjoyed every minute of our stay! The staff are super friendly and helpful, rooms are big and clean with all you need inside and the service is just great. Rich breakfast and great food at the the other restaurants in the hotel. There is a private beautiful beach and the hotel has quite atmosphere and surroundings, away from the busy streets of Koh Samui. Nice gym and the spa is excellent. Can’t wait to go back!

The hotel is located a bit further from the night markets and main streets so you have to take taxis or rent a motorbike to get there. But it’s not a big deal and we loved the peace and quiet area.

The hotel is well spaced out and offers a great sea view from the beach facing villas. The staff everywhere were extremely friendly and helpful & took care of all our needs The breakfast buffet was well stocked and the staff brought out new things to try every day. Would definitely recommend the hotel & stay here again.

A few things in the room didn’t work (coffee maker, outdoor umbrella) but they were promptly fixed so no real concern there. Also, the only therapist in the spa who could offer mani pedi treatments was on leave during our entire stay there, so having additional therapists may be good.

It’s almost boutique in its size and style and the staff ask your name and remember it, they are all amazing and really helpful but a huge shout out to Woody, Kim and Ken who made our holiday. The pool, gardens and private beach were always impeccable and never crowded. If you want to get away from it all and relax, this is the place…..oh and did I mention how great the food was?
