Absolutely the choice to live in Chiang Mai. Let's starts with pro's Location is central 3 minutes from the main street, hidden in a small alley from traffic (good point if you like to sleep). Nearby cafés restaurants massage, laundry & even seamstress who could fix your clothes. Breakfast is 150 Baht and I had daily, clean beautiful tropical fruits, eggs, Coffee Americano. Best choice so far compared to restaurants nearby. Rooms spacious 20m2 with good a/c shower pressure, they offer daily cleaning. WiFi is awesome Staff & owners are around always to attend to the the property & customers. I booked two activities which I recommend 1) Full day highest peak of Thailand with 2 hours trekking 2) Half day cooking class with Smile Organic Farm Pictures & videos speak for themselves

Comfortable and clean rooms, lovely staff who speak English well and offer recommendations for things to do in Chiang Mai with honesty. Close to many good restaurants with local food.

The noise from the other rooms and corridor can travel but guests are respectful of others so it’s not a major problem. Recommend a red taxi bus if you want to reach the night market’s quickly but we didn’t mind the 20minute walk.

Super friendly contact from reservation till after we've left. Yes, we even received a thank you and best wishes after we moved on with our travel in Chiang Mai! Very friendly people who really do care for the guest with tipps and advice instead of just doing their daily business. Nice: free bikes for guests during the day, though we preferred walking. The hotel is traditionally designed, older than some others, but clearly well cared for. Cleanliness is the best of what we've experienced so far in Thailand. The location is "unbeatable" in a private sideroad in the western part of Chiang Mai old town. Even the TukTuk driver needed a map 😁 It's totally quiet, but still only 5 minutes walk from the center (sunday walking street, temples, best rated scooter rentals, supermarket, great restaurants,...) A self-service washer is 50 meters away if you need this (e.g. for longer stays). We've been in Thailand for 7 weeks, and this is one of the two best hotels so far and clearly a hidden gem in Chiang Mai.

To be fair: we could leave this blank, all mentioned under "not like" is just possible potential to get from 90 to 100%. The windows do not close tightly (I'd rather call them historically than old), thus, the air-condition has to run permanently and blows straight in your face when laying in bed. We were there during "historic heat", 7 weeks not under 38 degrees daily high, so this is an extreme. Still, it was a bit sad (all this wasted energy). Could be solved with a bit brown sealing tape without ruining the historic optics and safe energy (and thus money). - If the generally well maintained bath would get a makeover, it would contribute to a more luxurious feeling, though we've never been uncomfortable at any time. We'll come back when coming to Chiang Mai again!

This hotel is very nice. It has a beautiful porch at the front, with plants, little fountains and some tables and chairs to enjoy a tea or a cocktail. The rooms are modest, however contain everything you need and are exceptionally clean. The hotel enjoys a fabulous location, right behind the Wat Phra Singh temple, in the old town, but still not in the most crowded areas. It is also 3 minutes walk from the famous Sunday night market. Our nights were indeed very quiet as the hotel is located in a small road, so we slept super well! The owner was very nice to us: helped booking a day trip to Chiang Rai and accommodated our breakfast needs (since we were leaving very early in the morning). The airport is also around 15 minutes drive away. Honestly, best choice in Chiang Mai: good price and high quality!

This boutique hotel is an excellent choice for accommodation. Situated near the western gate inside the old town, it offers a peaceful environment and convenient access to the delightful Sunday night market within walking distance. The courtyard provides a charming spot to relax after a day exploring Chiang Mai, and complimentary bikes are available. The rooms are comfortably cozy, and the breakfast is satisfying. With a fluent command of English, the owner is exceptionally helpful.

Nothing to dislike.

Staff : Awesome Staff, when you check in the owner or manager will sit with you and show you a map of the city and take the time to explain you and help you plan your activities and suggest some as well. If you do take the tour with them you can also get some discount on the tours ( I tried one by myself and one with them to compare). Food/Breakfast: I ate outside since there are a few places to explore and eat, but they do have the options if you wish to eat with them. They will also bring you 2 bottle of water every day so you can save some money ( still bought some because I drink a lot hahaha) but you can also refill at the lobby if needed. security : one safe box in the room. location : Near almost everything but then again the city is not that big so every place is at a walking distance. Took me 8-12 min from airport to the hotel ( around 138 bath in taxi) Wifi : 8/10 - good enough to work remotely with issues, sometimes small noticeable latency barely noticeable. Overall a good hotel to work remotely. (while on vpn : 76mbs | during drops 27 mbs). Noise : none at all... other that the rain will be moderately noisy when it fall on the roof panels like material. Bed Comfort : 8.5/10 Highly recommended.

Everything about this Hotel was amazing , the location was very convenient for bars , restaurants, cafes , temples and anything else you might want to do during your stay. Good breakfast to start the day and comfy rooms to enjoy . The best thing about this hotel is the homely and friendly atmosphere created by every single member of the Hotels staff from the management team to the restaurant staff and everyone in-between. Nothing was too much trouble and always looking after us , suggesting local places of interest, organising trips and generally ensuring we had the best possible stay. We would recommend this hotel without hesitation.

The staff was exceptional !!! They helped us so much! We are very thankful! We had a change of plans in our trip and they helped us to accommodate our changes with so much kindness! The room was very clean, it was very quiet and the bed was very big and comfortable.

It is not a critique, the location is perfect if you like to do sightseeing. It is close to the main temples in the city. However, if you enjoy more nightlife, this might not be the first choice if you want to do everything by foot. It is good though if you want to relax after a long day and still be central :)

Chiang Mai is a really interesting town with it's own atmosphere. We stayed longer than planned. Easy to drive - roads are not crowded. But it's necessary to rent a car in advance - the day before you may face a sold out. The hotel is close to the airport, friendly staff.

Like everywhere in Thailand air conditioning is placed on the wall opposite to the bed, so the cold air flows directly to it. The chance to get cold is real, particular after shower. To avoid it you can simply cover the device with a bath towel and reduce the flow to minimum.

The staff at this hotel was so kind and extremely helpful-- they went out of their way to help me with several travel items unrelated to the hotel stay. The rooms are decent and comfortable, but certainly not fancy -- for the price point, they are excellent. The shower was great and had hot water at all times. I also liked that the hotel is tucked away from the hustle and bustle but just a short walk to everything, including an amazing breakfast spot, Sunny Rays. I would def stay again.

The rooms could use a deep clean and repainting and the halls could use a bit of decor as they feel a bit stark. With that said, I would stay here again and very much enjoyed my stay.
