It was a great experience. We stayed here for five nights. The hotel is a boutique hotel. They had art related books all around. They had original artwork from very famous thai artists They even have a library on the second floor. One of the best breakfast experience we ever had in all our travels around the world. Staff was all so nice, respectful and responsive to your needs. Couple of things to know: you have to leave your footwear in a cubby (with a door) and wear slippers (please take your own slippers if don't want to wear what they provide). Sunday might walking market is steps away. One of the great experiences for us.

The location is wonderful, right in the heart of the Old Town of Chiang Mai. Easy access to sites and restaurants on foot, and it is easy to pick up a tuk tuk for longer excursions. The breakfast was wonderful and you could choose from a variety of items each morning - or ask for something special. Some previous reviews made it sound like the breakfast portions were small, but we could never eat it all. We followed reviewer's advice and asked for room 406, and it was wonderful. The high ceilings made the room seem larger (it is a bit on the small side), and the balcony overlooking the main street and the temple grounds was a highlight. Besides being beautiful and comfortable, the staff were wonderful. They always greeted you coming or going, and asked if you needed anything. The breakfast staff remembered our favorite items and had them ready as soon as we sat down. If we needed recommendations or a call for a taxi, they were very helpful. We honestly hated leaving after 9 days.

The room was smaller than we like, but I don't know what they could have done differently in a crowded old city. I brought my computer to do a bit of work each day, and the counter-like desk was small and not very comfortable to work on. There wasn't a closet or any shelving for clothes, which was a problem because I like to unpack my suitcase on long stays. But they did notice my struggle and brought in a portable clothes rack, and even re-hung all of my clothes so it was set up when I came back in the room.

Very clean. Amazing staff. I am definitely staying here again when I am back in Chiang Mai! The location was excellent for food, wats, and drinks. Quick Tuk Tuk to the night market and Muay Thai matches.

Everything was perfect. The taxi I booked on Booking.com did not show up, but the front staff here called their taxi man and he woke up at 4:15am and was to the hotel by 4:30am. He saved us from missing our very early flight. The staff goes above and beyond.

We are in our honeymoon, they received us with beautiful details, deco, chocolate and a nice card. All the beverage in the fridge were for free. The hotel offered us clean shoes to go to our chamber and we needed to leave our “dirty” shoes in the entry, we found this so clean and also a way to feel Thai culture. There was a variety of options for the breakfast and the waiter that host us was so attentive and efficient. Really kind treatment from the hotel. Beautiful, green and peaceful central area, also the hotel’s decoration was original. Also walking distance to most of the touristic places.

1. THE GREAT STAFF - the key to this hotel! Especially Reception and Breakfast Staff - but all. 2. The range and flexibility of choice for breakfast. Except for an expensive international hotel, you would not find better. 3. Decor and look and feel of the hotel. 4. About 20 metres from start of Sunday market! Close to all central Chiang Mai. 5. Reception mentioned a free coffee at Kalm. Need to tell a bit more as that arts precinct and shop are a gem.

Minor detail is the shower floor - has an unexpected 'dip' in it which could cause a fall.

We LOVED this cozy boutique hotel!! This hotel is in there perfect location to explore the old town of Chiang Mai. When we checked in, we were pleasantly surprised to learn it was at one of the entrances for the Sunday night market, or "walking street." They were able to provide us with an early check in and also helped arrange an early taxi pickup (4 am) so we could make it to our departure flight stress free! The breakfast was amazing!! The room was a great size and the AC was amazingly strong! We also loved how they provided information, and a free coffee coupon, for the Kalm Village. We went to explore and it was great!! We can't wait to come back and stay again!

Our bed was quite hard, however, we loved everything else so much that we'd still come back and stay despite this!
