The location is perfect. just few mins from the Market and different nice trample. quit area! the staff are super nice and friendly. happy to recommend and give you some contact to make sure you’re getting the best price. room is super clean!

not place to seating and chill,so I’ll say more for couple and group and less for single people that are try to find company.

We loved our stay here. It is conveniently located in the center of the old town, which makes it super easy to walk around and reach every corner of the town within the wall, and some of them outside the wall, too. The gentleman at the reception was also very kind and helpful, and went above and beyond to make our stay worth it. He gave us a lot of tips of places to visit -cultural, cafes, restaurants, parks, etc-, and each of them was better than the one before. He also spoke really good English, which was greatly appreciated as it’s less common that one might think from hospitality workers. Would 100% recommend and stay there again if I ever go back to Chiang Mai!

Very central location so fantastic. The owner is absolutely lovely, he can't do enough for you at all, he works so hard, cleaning constantly, providing things for you, restaurant tips etc. Although central, it's down a little alley and is really quiet. Air con is really good. They put out a little breakfast table with snacks and hot drinks every morning which is lovely and my son loved the alphabet crackers and pineapple jam biscuits and the owner would just let him go and grab some throughout the day, they were really kind.

I think the rooms could maybe have a kettle in there and a little fridge, but that's just being pedantic as they cleared a space in the staff fridge for us to use for the kids and gave me a kettle from the kitchen for the room.

Affordable hotel in a great location. Grab pick up point right outside the hotel. The owner is very accommodating, friendly and their English is exceptionally good in comparison to most people in Chaing Mai. He gave us many different pieces of advice that were great

The toilet got stuck and wouldn't flush, although when we told the staff they quickly fixed this. While showering once the entire power fell for the entire bathroom and took like 15-20 minutes before it came back. The mattresses aren't very comfortable.

The staff at Yen Aura is very friendly and helpful. We arrived with a night train from Bangkok and they let us drop the backpacks in their back garden early morning before check in time. The host gave us great tips, oldest temple, best hikes, best food, and much more. Great to kick start your visit and experience Chang Mai. Ok air-conditioning, rooms reasonably comfortable and clean. toilets are private and one on the ground floor which can be used before and after check n an check out. Silent street, no cars nor vendors, great value for the money.

Great location in the old city. All attractions within the old city is doable by foot. Food all around. Only a few minutes walk to the south gate where one can find cheap and good food. Sunday night market is also just a few minutes stroll away. Room is basic and compact. Air con works fine. Friendly owner.

The hotel was in a great location in the old town with easy walking distance to the street food market, temples and lots of bars and restaurants. The room was comfortable and clean, with a private bathroom and AC. But the stand out thing for me was the host - he was SO helpful and friendly, taking time to show us what to see and where to eat, letting us leave bags when we took a road trip to the country side and just generally being really welcoming. I’d stay here again purely for his welcome.

A pool in the heat!! or a roof terrace to relax on. but it was a small and perfectly formed place.

The hostel is in a very good location and quiet street. The beds were comfortable and the room was cleaned. There is a small social area outside with tables. The owner was super friendly and welcoming. He gaves us a lot of good recommendations for places to see and eat, helped us book tickets to watch the Muay Thai fights and even gave us a last minute ride to the bus terminal when we couldn't book a taxi. We couldn't recommend more and if possible follow is tips on what to do in Chiang Mai because it won't disappoint.

The location is great: on a quiet street within the square of the old center. Thoni Ia a very nice host and provided us with an overview of must see locations. The room has a warm shower and he provided bottled water every day. There is air and fan but we didn’t need it during our stay.

Sink did not drain. Confusing booking with booking.com: they wanted my debit/credit card info, said I could only pay with a visa, MasterCard or something else on arrival, but when I arrived I paid with Thai baht. I didn't like giving debit card data, don't understand why they wanted it, now I don't know who's got it or what they will do with it now or in future.
