Beautiful property along the river with amazing garden. The garden is definitely the highlight of this place. We loved to have breakfast there in the morning. The staff is very friendly and helpful and made sure we have a comfortable stay. They waited for us to check in after the usual schedule. We also had some meals at the property along with the breakfast and everything was delicious. We appreciated being given a sandwich the night before when we could not have breakfast because we were supposed to go on a day trip. The room is spacious and the bed is super comfortable. We recommend this stay! They provide books, movies, games, insect repellant, even sunscreen. We really appreciated all these added bonuses. Also, you can have your laundry taken care of for a very good price there.

The hotel is a bit out of the city, however they provide a daily shuttle to the city centre. Booking a Grab is also not very expensive.

The place is quite, nice and chilly, quite clean. The prices are very reasonable, breakfast is served in the rooms or in dining space, good Thai food. You can ask for laundry, cleaning, massage right in your room. Place has a pool and nice river bank area. It was nice, we’ve rented too huge space for 3 of us but for a big company it might be perfect: each bedroom comes with a private bathroom, 2 floors with the terrace/balcony, roof access. Good sound proof, no road sounds or disturbing guests, very polite and responsive staff.

The location is not perfect in terms of transportation: many cabs cancel the rides as the roads are narrow, traffic is heavy during the day. Also the roads are barely walkable, again narrow and twisted which makes it a bit scary to walk event to the nearest 7/11. But! They do offer rides to the Chiang Mai 2 times a day and if you’ll get yourself a scooter (which you can rent right in place) it will highly improve your experience. I do recommend to be careful with the laundry. Don’t give any special fabric or badly dirty things, as it might be spoiled. But to be honest they paid for spoiled baby shirt with no hesitation so I should give them at least this.

Natural environment. Just seeing the river from the room, green around and surrounded by nature makes your stay The room has a decent size, silent aircon, big bed with a firm mattress. Internet works all over the place either you're in the room or at the pool!

The free to use bicycles can be better maintained.

A lovely oasis by the River Ping just a short way out of the walled Chiang Mai old city walls. Take time to enjoy the facilities - my family (2 adults and 3 children) had a spacious family suite and over a week enjoyed the pool, garden, and some games and books that were available for loan on those 'downtime' days we all need to wind down between exploring. There's also a small gym if you don't feel you're getting your steps in! Breakfast choices were to my liking, and local markets nearby meant that food options were close if you didn't want to venture too far. We had a rental car so staying outside the hub of the city was a good trade off for us. Having a car meant we had a lot of flexibility to explore the region our way, our timing. Helpful staff at the Villa and overall a relaxing stay with 'home away from home' touches - would definitely recommend!

Villa San Pee is a hidden gem, a little away from town center. The moment you enter you'll feel welcomed by the staff. The rooms are spacious, clean and have all the facilities we needed with kids. Breakfast was limited but sufficient and tasty. You have option to have it served in the garden or room which is a big plus. Taxi to old town take around 100bht and takes about 15min. Both the boys in the reception were friendly and helpful. Overall the hotel was beyond our expectation and we highly recommend to anyone who wants a comfortable stay in chiang mai.

There's nothing to be honest for the price we paid. But if i have to mention something thn that would be mosquitos in the garden and pool area.

We stayed 3 nights and it felt totally like your home in Chiang Mai, it has a big pool, many activities, clean facility and nice & comfy beds to rest, nothing to complain and only I can say good words about the stuff, they are very helpful to your questions and doubts.

We booked the family suit and in the second rooms it can hear the noise from the street easily because it is facing to the street, that is the only inconvenience we had during our stay.

This is a one in a million hotel for those who love quality service with a smile, and natural forest surrounds that are breathtaking. Incredible staff, amazing value.

Such a peaceful and beautiful setting. The space was big and open! The way that the property was lit at night was beautiful. I felt like little fairies should be dancing in the air plants that were lit as well as the beautiful gardens and refreshing pool. A 10 min walk to a market. The staff was amazing!! They took care of us as if we were the only guests. The grounds and the hotel are very clean with good AC. Just a beautiful place to stay and relax.

The bathrooms have flimsy sliding doors that are more like sliding partitions. Be sure you have mosquito repellant for late afternoon and evening if sitting out. It’s the price you pay for this beautiful environment.

Nice and quiet location, marvelous rooms, excellent food, reasonably close to Chiang Mai.

Some equipments are not well maintained, the boats seen on the pictures are rotting away, the shower at he swimming pool is not compulsory, and the jacuzzi not functioning. The free bikes are horrible.

This is a truly beautiful property which in my opinion is totally underselling itself and I don’t believe they know themselves how good it is. It is an absolute haven and so peaceful and relaxing. The staff are so very sweet and helpful and one of the things that I loved most was the good old fashioned service and attentiveness of the staff. They really couldn’t do enough for you and would check in with you daily as you pass reception asking if you are happy, what your plans are for the day and if they can help in anyway. At no point did this seem forced and it was all very natural and really made us feel that they genuinely do care. The pool and gardens are just so beautiful and breathtaking, an absolute haven. The pool is so much bigger than I had expected based on the photos and we were always able to get sun loungers when we wanted. The hotel also offers lots of additional really nice services such as canoeing or fishing on the river free of charge. They have access to lots of books, board ganes and dvd’s again all free. For a small fee we were able to release Chinese lanterns into the night sky with our children which was just magical. They offer in room massages from a professional masseuse at no more expensive than out in town. The food was absolutely delicious! The menu for lunch and dinner is so good, some of the best we have tasted and we have travelled Thailand a lot on multiple occasions! Takes a little longer to arrive but it has all been beautifully cooked to order with lovely fresh ingredients and quite frankly when you are sat in the lush gardens with such a beautiful view there really is no rush. Breakfast is also excellent, a great set up of around 8 dishes to choose from (reserving your choice the night beforehand) served alongside fresh fruit and as much tea, coffee and toast with butter and jam as you desire.

The bedrooms are in an older traditional style decor typically Thai and very with wooden floors which if renovated would loose their charm, but the bathrooms really could do with modernising and a refurb, that said despite being old the bathrooms are spotlessly clean. I would say though that there is no where to place any cosmetics or products near or next to your sink which is a little inconvenient. Other negative is mosquitos. I tend to be quite the magnet for mosquitoes anyways and they really did feast on me here, but I guess thats the price we pay for the lush gardens.
