I recently had the pleasure of staying 2 nights at this delightful boutique hotel with my family, and I must say it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was struck by the modern oriental aesthetic and welcoming atmosphere. The bed was so plush and cozy, with pillows that were just the right mix of soft and supportive. It made getting a good night's sleep effortless. The shower room was another highlight. It was modern, spotless, and had excellent water pressure, which made for a truly refreshing shower experience every morning & evening. The temperature was easy to adjust, and the water flow was consistently strong—something that's often hard to find if in hotel. Location-wise, this hotel is perfect. It’s nestled in a quiet area but still conveniently close to local attractions, restaurants, and shops. It was the ideal base for exploring the city while enjoying some peace and tranquility at the end of the day. I'll be coming back for sure!

I was disappointed when I requested a mineral water during my check-out and the hotel staff charged me for 20 baht per bottle. While I understand that some hotels may charge for additional amenities, it felt a bit off-putting, especially given the otherwise high level of service and attention to detail. A small gesture like complimentary extra water would go a long way in enhancing the guest experience. Despite this, the hotel is lovely and well-maintained, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. I just wish the policy on such minor charges were more guest-friendly.

Overall, we had a pleasant stay at The Lantern Hatyai Hotel. The location was excellent and convenient for exploring Hat Yai. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated, and the Wi-Fi was reliable. Having parking available was a definite plus since we drove.

However, the room size was quite small for our family, and parking spaces were limited. Despite these minor points, we'd still recommend the hotel, especially for short stays.

Water shower is strong and the aircon is quiet. Bathroom is clean and have air purifier machine in the bedroom too.

The sound proof is pour. Can listen very clearly the corridor guest talking and is noisy the stairs is middle of the hotel. Recommend the hotel owner put carpet on the stairs and corridor.

The staff are very friendly especially Miss Cartoon. She welcomed and greeted us when we arrived. Personal touch with guests. The location is good within walking distance to Lee Garden area away from the busy streets. Clean and comfortable room with a good size double bed. Highly recommended to stay if you want a relaxing weekend holiday.

Property is nice design. Good vibes and interior, smell and classy.

Not really about the property but the staff is not really well trained about security. I did booking online via application and check in(already in the room). Then my friend just have a phone call to the lobby just for the security check and staff let him know everything about guests details. Room Number, Full Name. I didn’t try to be auditing but they should have concerned more for guests security not to give any details to someone(dont know) on the phone.

I appreciated the early check in at 1200 noon. The hotel deco had a modern trendy Chinese vibes. It was neat and clean. The trash bins had sensors to open and close! Location was walking distance to shopping areas and restaurants but without the busyness of Lee Plaza.

Room had a window that faced a blank wall. Corridor leading to room was a little dim. We could hear loud conversation from below at night. For price we paid I don't think it's value for money as compared to mid range hotels in Bangkok.

We don't take breakfast. we really satisfied with the cleanliness of the room & bathroom, the check in time also fast. the bed so comfy & the ambience so warm. although the location is a bit far from the night market ,shopping malls & massage spa, but it is not a problem to our group, because we have our transport & we love quiet area rather than busy areas.

well we do not have anything that we do not like so far. As long as keep the hotel clean, make sure check in & check out time fast, that will be good enough.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We loved the vibe and decor of the hotel. The room.was not very big but was comfortable. I liked that the location was a bit away from the night market, so this area is slightly quieter but yet not too far to walk to the center. There are many good eateries around it too!

Limited carpark but we managed to get a spot on most days. Room a bit small but decent.

The hotel location is very near the busy food and shopping area. The hotel is small but with a good design and layout. The hotel front desk (Miss Lin) is excellent. She is very helpful and accomodating. The room is not big but spacious enough. The bed sheet is of a high quality cotton which makes it very smooth and silky.

The shower room could be slightly bigger.
