The hotel is located bang in the middle of Hua Hin and less than a 5 min walk to Walking Street where all the nightlife is situated. It is also less than 10 mins walk to the beach. You can't get lost looking for the hotel. It dominates the skyline. From here you can walk to the Night Market area just over the railway line at Hua Hin in about 30 mins.. There you will find a stage with various groups performing free and the area is surrounded with eateries of every description. Don't drive to the night market. It is almost impossible to park. Take a taxi if you need transport. A great night out.

There is nothing I can say of a critical nature regarding this hotel.

City Beach Hotel is a large Hotel with traditional Thai decor, furniture and artwork. Getting away from the modern materials and their sanatised style in many Hotels C.B. takes you back in time and that's comforting.

Booking.com price. My friend stated at the same time and he used Agoda via TripAdvisor. Without the fine details I paid appropriately 20% more using B.com

Great location - close to center of town, restaurants and bars. Everywhere was within easy walking distance. Room size was very adequate and comfortable with a small outdoor balcony overlooking the town. Breakfast was not included in my booking.

Night staff on Reception were not very helpful or friendly - daytime staff were ok. No bar or cafe' in hotel, no room service. No towels provided for pool area and no staff in attendance for very deep pool.

The location was the best. Let us check in early for Genius level. The lobby is stunning.

The room was a bit dated. Looked as though this resort was an amazing place in the 1980s. The pool looked dirty. Some kind of oil spill in one corner. All of the sun chairs are always in the shade from the building, maybe bad design. Bed was too springy, you can feel the springs. Really needed a pad on top of the mattress. Seemed very very old. Maybe it would look nicer with an ocean view.

This place was amazing from the time I walked in. Staff are excellent at the front desk and house keeping are amazing as well. The rooms were very clean, and the breakfast was good as well. It was a great location

Very clean, comfortable and good value for money. Reception staff gave good welcome when checking in and were very helpful. Assigned our three rooms next to each other as requested when checking in.

Add drinks and snacks selection in room fridge. Have room booklet explaining all hotel ameneties and how to operate various room controls for guests.

Location is excellent. Breakfast was just ok. But understandable given things are still quiet post Covid. They tried hard but was very underdone. I do not consider this a negative - it will get better. I have stayed here before and will again in the future.

It's getting a little tired & could do with a spruce up - but still acceptable.

We have stayed before and returned to this hotel for it's good location close to restaurants and bars and within walking distance of the water-front. It's a bit dated but nevertheless clean and comfortable with a good breakfast.

No complaints.
