This place is really like a paradise… lovely island, super chill, with a number of small resorts and restaurants, beach bars and beach massage platforms along the length of the beach.. this resort is very comfortable, with kind staffs and a central beach location.. you can easily walk to any of the other places along the beach (except during high-high tide).. a rocky sea floor, exposed at low tide, is still quite walkable as you make your way out into the sea.. can walk to the coral reef, maybe 200m. Bungalows were comfortable - would definitely recommend a sea facing room - and the garden area between the bungalows and the sea is very well maintained and offers plenty of comfortable seating.. breakfast was quite nice and at all times we felt well cared for by the kind staffs.. would definitely recommend to others

Could improve the reduction of plastic in all areas. this means living and guiding the hotel in the way of REDUCE, REUSE, RECYCLE ♻️. - Clean up the area near the hotel and collect plastic trash etc…. - Only offer refill of plastic bottles instead of new plastic bottles. - More vegetarian options - Juices without additional sugar - Explain guests before swimming and snorkeling nbg to protect the ocean and reef by not touching and standing on the underwater world !!! Protect the nature more. Optional: Reduce boat traffic to the hire by combining the departures and arrivals with the neighbor hotels to have less boats at the reef especially at low tide.

The beach where the property is located is very rocky. Other properties occupy much sandier areas It felt like the owners had their hands gently but persistently in your pockets - there was a charge for anything and everything. E.g. for more than 2 small bottles of water and for use of snorkels At first glance, breakfast had plenty of options, but it didn't vary day by day, so after 3 or 4 days there was a craving for more variety

The pool, the location, the food, and (for the most part) the staff were nice.

There are SO MANY signs telling you what you are not allowed to do, or what you should do here, or not do here. SO MANY. All over the resort. It took away any feeling of 'premium' to me, and was just way over the top. The food was generally very nice but sometimes the staff seemed a little lacking in focus. For example, you could finish a drink at your sunlounger at 11am and the empty glass/bottle would still be on the side table at 6pm.

Oh my, where to start honestly?! We were searching for a secluded space to switch off and not be surrounded by loads of people and tailboats: Koh Ngai is exactly that! Since it’s an unexploited island, there’s only a few resorts on the same side but no locals live here. Staying here felt like we had an island all to ourselves. The facilities blend beautifully with the landscape. The beach is so calm and have about 200 mts worth of shallow-ish sea pool. Lovely for swimming and snorkeling, though the coral reef is not that alive unfortunately. They provide with rubber floats and two wooden rafts to relax in the water as well, which felt like a sweet plus. The cottages were thai style, and covered very comfortably all our needs. A comfy bed and a spacious bathroom. All super clean with daily fixing of the rooms and towel replacement, if needed. They focus a lot con sustainability and offer alternatives like refilling of water bottles, aircon that functions within a time frame, the possibility of washing sheets only after three days( if agreed to, obviously) to save water. The restaurant serves a varied breakfast and suuuper tasty lunch and dinner, highly recommended! As a couple who have worked many years in the service industry, we wanted to highlight the attention and warmth of all the staff members. Coco Cottage would’ve definitely not been such an experience if wasn’t for the lovely staff that truly pampered us throughout our stay. We can’t wait to come back, thank you!!

Omg where do I even start?! This is probably our best stay in our 2-week trip in Thailand and was the absolute highlight. This place offers a true paradise island experience with the the iconic island rustic feel, the most welcoming staff and beautiful scenery. There are no cars, no rush, no noise - just the sound of nature and crushing waves, the sea breeze, the starts... I wish we stayed longer! The staff are extremely attentive and super friendly, and we loved the tips sent 2 days before arrival to help you get your arrival organised, and guide about things to do on the island. The huts are simply but have everything you need, and I loved small touches that add to the experience and feel like fresh flowers in the bathroom, the toiletries that smelled so nice, and bamboo shower head ❤️ There is a lovely cosy library, a salt water infinity pool, swings, relaxing areas by the beach and a fantastic restaurant on site. I also really appreciate how they care about the environment, recycling and sustainability which is not the case in many places in Thailand.

Beautiful property…….nicest one along the main beach. The staff are excellent and the rooms are gorgeous. Added bonus of a beautiful pool too. So many little details have been thought about and the hotel decor is stunning. Great restaurant and a very nice breakfast. Sarongs given to you for the length of your stay, beach bags and umbrellas too. Water refill scheme and mosquito spraying for your room is offered. Everything here has been done ‘just right’.

The resort and the island are really beautiful. You can see that they make every effort to make your stay the best it can be. We have read negative reviews from other guests and we don't understand where they are coming from. The breakfast is amazing, you have many different options to choose from and the coffee is great. Every day there were several new meals to choose from. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean when we arrived and it was that way throughout our stay. There are nice notes everywhere with useful information for guests. You can ask for mosquito repellent to be sprayed all over the house for 100bht. The food in the restaurant was some of the best we ate in Thailand - we definitely recommend the Thai dishes (such as Pad Kra Krow Pai, cashew nut chicken, chicken sataye or curry). There are beautiful colorful coral reefs (you have to swim about 300 meters from the beach when the deeper water starts). We will remember our stay there forever and can’t wait to come back.

If you are looking for a place to relax in peace with good facilities and structures and with a good and professional staff, this is the right place. We liked that we could relax and spent some days at the see as per our plans and dreams!

We would have preferred the resort as an “Adults Only Resort”. If you go to Koh Ngai, in this place, you are looking for total relax and silence.

Beautiful hotel right on the beach with wonderful staff, great pool area och cute bungalows! Dont miss out on the best bar every further down on the beach. Light my fire society is just near by and has live music, great food, drinks and great company! Coco cottage is the best hotel on the island! Come here and enjoy!!

A bit expensive and the beds are hard (but they are hard everywhere in thailand so nothing to be said about that 😉).
