Amazing location - very beautiful Decent breakfast included.

It felt a little bit like you were captive and could not move far (no roads) other than walk to the next beach. We upgraded (at extra cost) to a garden bungalow as the original room was not good. Wi-Fi was poor. Food & beer expensive. Air-con in room cost another 500bht!!

Beautiful beach to stay on. All the staff were excellent and all worked extremely hard all day and night. Nice swimming pool, pool towels, free snorkeling masks and fins also you could book out a Kayak free aswell subject to availability. Rooms basic but adequate. The Resort had the most incredible scenery full of nature and good snorkeling.

Our only problem was the Resort was a bit isolated. The other beaches were accessible via a Walkway over the rocks not too good if you have walking problems. Restaurant was good but would of been better if you had other restaurants to try. We would go back to Koh Ngai as it is beautiful but not back to Koh Ngai Resort although we enjoyed our time there it was too restrictive

We had a bungalow which was pretty much at the end of the row and on the first row to the beach, hence very quiet and cozy with spectacular view to the sea. Adventurous arrival in a speed boat with a change of boats on the sea. Our bungalow was amidst several coconut palm trees. Upon arrival the staff harvested coconuts and gave us several to drink from for free. Staff at reception was very helpful and room was clean and comfortable. Despite the bad luck with the weather, you could snorkel only a couple of meters away from the beach and see fish, etc.

Only one restaurant on site with fairly high prices and almost no chance go to other places.

We enjoyed our week here. The snorkellimg from the shore was good. The ocean water pool was fun for the kids. The kayaks were fun. And we really enjoyed the social atmosphere at breakfast and dinner in the restaurants. It is the oldest resort on the island, which shows a bit in the facilities, but everything met our needs. We had a great time and would stay there again.

The hotel is very well located. The beach in front is absolutely beautiful and one of the bests in the island. We went to the main beach (where you can find most resorts) several times and in low tide there were many many rocks and seaweed making it difficult to get to the water, in front of koh ngai resort there wasnt anything like that. Getting to the main beach is much easier than what most of the comments will tell you. Less than 10 min waling you are there. Another great thing is that they have free kayaks and if you go in the opposite direction of the main beach you will find wonderful and simply paradise. Room was okay, definitely not the highlight of the stay but they do a pretty good job in keeping insects out. Good air conditioning

Best location on Koh Ngai. It’s the only resort having its own beach. All other locations are located in a line on Long Beach. Just of the beach there are some corals and many fish. But don’t expect a coral-wonder world. You get snorkeling gear and sea Kajaks for free. The resort has been built many years ago - so a renovation would be a good idea. The rooms are simple, but they are very clean. The general rating of the resort is to low for what you get. We would rate the resort compared to other places, where we stayed, more in the range of 8.5 instead of the 7.9

The little house on the beach was amazing, the last one. The scenery was beautiful. The water was good for swimming but not so clear in this period for snorkeling. The staff was very friendly and nice. The food was good at the right price for a remote island.

No coffee. Just instant coffee and hot water. Massage was available just for a day, and then the lady left. Small portions sometimes.

Our group of four visited Koh Ngai Resort for 3 nights over the Christmas holidays. It is an older resort but it is very well maintained. It is located on its own private beach which has great snorkelling, coral reef is just couple of metres from the beach. We walked to other beaches and it was a nice trip:) It's also a plus to have the proximity of the pier. You are able to just walk to the resort on your arrival. We found the prices to be reasonable considering it's an island. Food was nice as well, we had a great barbecue at the Christmas evening together with the fireworks. The staff was very accommodating. We found all the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We were sad to leave Koh Ngai but I am sure that we’ll come back again.

Breath-taking location. Very friendly staff. Desert-island feel to the resort. Good food in the restaurant. Free snorkels, kayaks and beach towels. Fantastic snorkelling just off the beach (and options for snorkelling trips close by)

Moved rooms as the garden view bungalow had very steep steps up to the room, and one of the mattresses was very uncomfortable - staff very helpful in moving us.

We loved the private beach. We loved the snorkeling. We liked that there was very little rocks at the beach. The food was delicious and good portion for the price. We liked that here was very few people and not crowded. Very peaceful. Beautiful scenery. wonderful and kind staff.

The rooms are basic. That is Not a problem but definitely need some updating. Many things broken. Falling apart. But for price we still enjoyed and have stayed 10 times over the last few years. We have recommended to many friends.
