Thip is the best host, she is really lovely, very kind and helpful. We booked snorkeling through her and on the boat we realised we paid less than others. The prices she offers are more than fair for what you get. The garden with the pool is very beautiful to hang out during the day when it is too hot to be at the beach. Only a few mins walking to the beach. The room and bed was very comfortable. The staff was very friendly also! Thank you!!

That we could not stay longer

Exceptionally friendly and courteous staff, especially the manager was super nice and helpful. Due to our day excursion plans, we had a hoped to be allowed to just drop-off our luggage very early in the morning but instead were offered to already checkin despite the normal "from 1400h" checkin window. Awesome garden, green, secluded and private. Nice small pool area. Hotel restaurant offering good stir fry rice. 😋

Room refrigerator tends to be quite loud at night, we just unplugged it. Bed pillows a bit to stiff/hard. Pool area could afford a couple more lounge chairs, currently limited to only 4.

Do yourself a favour and stay at Lanta Thip House. Yes, you can book a room nearer to the beach. But you will be missing out on a real treat. From the moment you enter Thip House you will receive everything you require for a memorable experience. Thip and her team are wonderful, and practically make you feel part of their family. You can book anything ( travel, trips etc) through Thip, who will always be looking for the best deal for you. We enjoyed our stay so much that we extended our stay, and we were not the only ones to do this. And even though you will not be staying in a beachfront hotel, you can walk to it in 10 minutes so what have you got to lose. Give Thip a chance to prove me right.

Everything was great! Very spacious, bright and clean rooms with comfortable beds. The location is great for exploring the North and South of the island. The owner and staff are all super friendly and helpful. The rooms are cleaned every day. The backyard pool is a wonderful little oasis to relax at. And there are some great little restaurants at the beach in walking distance. For our stay we rented a scooter from the hotel which is the easiest option to explore the island by yourself. This was one easy of our favorite stays in Thailand. Definitely recommend.

Initially we had booked five nights, but ended up staying for nearly two weeks. We really enjoyed our stay in this charming hotel. The owner Thip and her staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean, the breakfast is good and the pool is nice and big. It’s also very quiet even though it’s next to the street. We can highly recommend staying here.

We had a really nice stay at Lanta Thip house! Originally we had booked only 3 nights but ended up extending our stay. The hotel is located in the middle of the island which makes it really easy to explore both the north and the south. Thip was an excellent host and arranged scooters, day trips and pick-up to Krabi town for us! She was always ready to help and and gave us good advice about activities in Koh Lanta. The hotel was very clean and tidy thanks to lovely staff!

An incredibly helpful and kind host. We were greeted with a very pleasant welcome as soon as we walked through the door. She was very helpful when renting scooters or buying tickets for Aonang. The location of the hotel is great. 10 minutes walk to restaurants and 7/11, 5 minutes to the beach. Although we have scooters every day we stay, we liked the location of the hotel very much. We went to the beach early in the morning. In the heat of the afternoon, we escaped to the hotel's shaded pool. Our room was extremely clean and large. The housekeeper was also incredibly helpful. She was always on the floors and offered room cleaning every day. We will come back to this hotel where we stayed for 9 nights. Thank you very much to the wonderful, smiling, very polite owner and housekeeper.

Very clean Room, very big and very comfy bed, nice pool area, 2 bottles of drinking water per day, very friendly Host. Good airconditioning which is not directly facing the bed. That is very convenient. In our room Everything was very good (no smell or anything). I can only speak for the room we stayed in. We enjoyed our stay and really Liked it.

Be aware: If you have a room towards the Road, you will hear noises and Traffic. We had no Problems when we used earplugs. Steep steps. Only 4 sunbeds.

This is the cleanest hotel I have stayed in whilst in SEA. I was dubious about some of the reviews regarding the location but everything else certainly made up for a short 10 minute walk to the shops or the other way to the beach. The owner was so lovely and spoke fantastic English, and her and her staff work tirelessly to keep the place looking great and running smoothly. I booked for 5 nights at the end of my trip and wish I could've stayed longer. The pool was brilliant and only a couple of people ever around it at one time. When I booked I said I needed a room with a chair and table in it to work from...when I saw the room it was spacious and had a dressing table, and a couple of chairs and smaller table...so I could've made it work. But the owner went out of her way to get me a table and chair so I could position it better in the room (with white wall behind me rather than a bed). Breakfast wasn't included and wasn't the cheapest - but worth having - and available all day. I enjoyed most of the menu - at various times of the day. And the smoothies are delicious. I really can't say enough how comfortable I was here - how clean everything was - how attentive, friendly and smiley the staff were - and all at a very reasonable price - and quiet - in fact you'd have trouble beating the price in Koh Lanta in February. I would highly recommend this place all day long.

Excellent breakfast. Fruit salad muesli yogurt best start of the morning.I'm a vegetarian, this is important to me. Special thanks for the cleanliness and daily cleaning of the room.Many thanks to all the staff for their help in finding the key to the motorbike. I will never forget how we looked for him.I had a great view of the jungle from my window. very quiet place. But if you want parties and music, you can drive to the nearby beach where there are a huge number of restaurants and a variety of music.Thank you very much. I want to come back to you
