This is a difficult one to review. I should easily be giving them a 10 star review. The staff are fantastic. Helpful in so many ways and I'd give them 10 stars 🌟 . The included breakfast was OK. The hotel menu what we ate was always good. The bar and restaurant staff were great. Our eventual room was lovely. The pool, beach and restaurant location is lovely.

On arrival the room we were given was awful. Poorly maintained the shower was terrible and the room smelled. The size was small to say the least. This really was a kick in the teeth after 20 hours travelling and caused tension to say the least. We had to upgrade at an extra cost of 900 baht per night. All I can say is do not book the standard rooms (I think the hotel call them superior. Which is seriously missleading!!!) Our room was sub standard. My advice to the hotel. Seriously think about upgrading these rooms with a refit. You are doing yourself a miss service. I wouldn't pay half of what you charge for those rooms.

Coco Palm Beach Hotel on Samui is a great place to stay if you like original Thai hotels and don't expect a 5 star resort. Good middle class bungalows, simple but clean. Everything you need is in the complex. Worth mentioning are all the employees in all areas who always have a smile on their faces, just like you know from Thailand. There is a restaurant, a VSR and a delicious breakfast buffet. there is always something for everyone. Nearby is massage, delicious restaurants and a mini market. It's about a 2 km walk to the main street or you can rent a scooter directly opposite the hotel. You can get a scooter for around eight euros a day. Depending on how long the rental period is. There are plenty of sun loungers on the hotel's beach, which are also complemented by loungers by the pool. The pool is large enough, but only suitable for swimmers. Children can go swimming there with water wings and adults can also go swimming. There are enough shaded areas on the beach and also by the pool. Parasols, among other things, also ensure this. Each bungalow has a terrace where you can sit in peace in the evenings. And because the hotel is the fair pier where you can go to the neighboring island for around twelve euros. It's definitely worth taking a day trip there. The bar also sometimes has happy hour where they offer cocktails for half the price. This is highly recommended. The food in the restaurant is good. It's a bit more expensive than outside. But the relationship is still normal in the restaurant. There are electric shuttles in the complex that can take you from the entrance to your bungalow. There is no charge for it, but the driver is always happy to receive a little tip. Just like all the other employees who do their best every day, everyone is happy about a few baht/euro tips. The dogs in the complex are all very friendly. You still shouldn't feed her. We were in the complex for three weeks and took a close look at Ko Samui.

Great stay, nice property, cabins basic but comfortable. Lovely pool area, clean beach with awesome views. Good breakfast selection. Staff were great. A few nice little restaurants and bars nearby, plus two convenience stores. Hotel provides free one-way shuttle daily to various places such as Fisherman's Village and Chaweng which is very handy. The area is very quiet and peaceful. We had a lovely stay here.

The property and cabins are a little dated and some of the sunbeds are in quite bad condition. But this seems quite common in Thailand post-Covid as obviously tourism was badly affected, and it did not have a negative impact on our stay at all.

The resort itself is awesome, the beach it’s located on is wonderful and secluded. The little road it’s on also has some fabulous restaurants and many scooter rentals as well (which you will need to get around on your own time). They do offer a free shuttle service (one way) into three different parts of koh Samui, which we did take advantage of and was useful, but unfortunate that it is not a return as well as the prices for taxis and grabs are very expensive on the island (around 600 baht one way). The air on worked great in the room and we were also right beside the maenam pier that we needed to take to get over to koh Phan Gna, which was a bonus when we checked out. The staff were lovely and very helpful. All in all the stay was very enjoyable and would stay there again for a relaxing holiday, would probably upgrade to a nicer room though.

We booked a standard bungalow, the room itself looks exactly like the photos, but the bathroom was a bit outdated. The water pressure was not great and the shower did not get very hot, but it didn’t matter a lot. Not a lot of light in the room itself and there was only one outlet in the room. The pool closed early at 7pm which we thought was kind of early, but since we were right in the beach that didn’t matter as much.

The location was suitable, next to the pier, large property, with excellent service, friendly and helpful staff. The restaurant, bar and the pool were in front of the big blue, so the view was great and the food as well! Very close to Coco Palm Beach Resort you can find everything needed, shopping, restaurants, massage shops, supermarkets, pharmacies, cafeterias and opposite to the property are two spots to rent bikes or cars and to book your daily adventures or excursions to others islands and cultural attractions. I stayed 5 days in Koh Samui and Coco Palm Beach! I had fantastic time and certainly I would recommend to everyone who is visiting Koh Samui, alone, with company or family🙏🏻

The best. Le meilleur. Der beste. Het beste. We have been all over Thailand and this is the best accommodation we have ever stayed in. The bungalows, garden and pool are immaculate. The peace and quiet being adults only is great as well. Every bungalow is superb, clean and bright. All the staff from Cycy and Mika, to the resort staff are super friendly and accommodating. The bungalows feature a storage area and clothing area just behind the bed on both sides and then a separate bathroom and separate WC. There is even snorkeling gear in your room and beach towels. There are 2 paddle boards for everyone to use. Cycy will sort everything for you (transfer, motor bike, ferry tickets, taxis, island excursions, etc.) nothing is too much trouble. There are many, many restaurants along the beach with a variety of different cuisines from Thai, fish, Italian, French, Mexican etc. Right across the road is a fabulous coffee shop for breakfast if you fancy, if not there is a 7-11 for home prepared food. Water is plentiful and you can top up your bottles from the kitchen area. Whilst we stayed in one of the beach front bungalows, they have all been meticulously positioned to ensure a sea view from your terrace. The location is only 15 minutes from the ferry port (so an easy transfer) and getting around the island is simple by taxi or motorbike. There of plenty of other beaches to explore within 15-20 minutes ride with their own bars and restaurants, beautiful white sand and clear blue sea. What an adult boutique getaway should be! Thank you. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Everything was out of this world

Great beachfront property with pool right off the beach. Most of the bungalows are not ocean-facing but a short walk down the path to the pool area and beach. Lots of beach chairs and room to spread out, free pool/beach towels provided, and a poolside bar/restaurant. Very family friendly, kids playing on the lawn and in the pool, definitely not a party hotspot. Hotel is in a quieter cluster off the main road, with several restaurants and cafes nearby to give other dining options. You definitely want to rent a scooter (several options there within a couple minutes walk) or arrange other transportation for getting around the island.

Facilities are nice but do show a little bit of wear. "Superior" bungalow is really the entry level and somewhat sparsely furnished. Beach sand is quite coarse, a bit rough on the feet, though the ocean was fine for swimming. Location is very nice for a quiet beach/pool retreat, but not very close to other highlights requiring a bit of a drive.

We chose this for an overnight stay to take the Lomprayah catamaran to Koh Tao in the morning. It doesn't get more convenient than this. From the hotel restaurant to the pier check-in is literally 20 metres of paved path/road. For us with rolling luggage and baby stroller, it was very easy. The hotel did also offer to use their golf carts to drive us there (I assume it would have been by road going around) which was generous of them. Rooms are basic but adequate. Hotel had setup a baby cot before we arrived. Separate towels for the shower and for beach/pool are provided. The pool is pleasant, well heated surrounded by a lovely tropical setting. Breakfast is simple but ample and reasonable quality - fresh fruit, muesli, yoghurt, eggs cooked to order, buffet hot dishes, congee, bread. We purchased fried rice chicken (160thb) and pad thai shrimp (200thb) as a takeaway lunch on the boat. Both were a large portion and tasted good, particularly the fried rice. It is a short <5min walk to nearby Thai restaurants or massage places. Hotel arranged an airport transfer with baby seat (500 thb) - they use a taxi service next door to them with a bit of markup.

Shower pressure is non-existent - it is a dribble at best. Beach nearby isn't that nice. Water gets deep fast, the boats make the water more rough and polluted. Wild dogs in the area (although seem harmless).

We were only here one night before we got the ferry to Phangan but it was a great stay. The two best things about the resort were the proximity to the ferry pier (it’s next to it!) and the pool. The walk to the gorgeous warm pool is framed by an arch of frangipani trees and is virtually on the beach as well. It really is gorgeous. The staff were all very friendly and the included buffet breakfast was vast and tasty and well worth getting. Could have easily spent another few days here as we didn’t have time to check out the small little street of bars and restaurants right outside the hotel which looked nice. If you do stay here make sure to check out Hua Kuti restaurant just down the beach. The food was out of this world and is a great setting with friendly chilled vibe. We loved it.

We had a standard (‘superior’ they call it) bungalow and it was a bit tired looking. The pillows were super hard. It was fine for the price but you might want to get a better room nearer the pool/beach that looked like they had been done up a bit more recently.

It was in a great location away from the busy side of Samui. Near to the port for easy island hoping, on its own private beach & free evening shuttle bus into town, if you want it busier. Perfect get away for resting, relaxing and winding down. Staff are amazing, so helpful and professional. Grounds were immaculate. Room was so clean and comfortable.

When I first arrived the beach was littered and dirty, and didn’t look great… but after 3 days it was cleaned up properly and kept that way for the rest of my stay.
