I liked that the minute I mentioned my bed was too firm the staff came ASAP and put a mattress topper on for me. The staff were very nice and organised a laundry service for us. I liked the fully cooked breakfast that was included in the price each day, overlooking the ocean and the fact they supplied two free bottles of water and tea/coffee etc supplies each day. The location was great, though you would need a car or motorbike to access as it is at the top of a very steep hill. We enjoyed the pool area, plenty of lounge chairs to relax on. They had a restaurant on board operating from 12pm - 10pm every day. We found it great value for money.

We were disappointed to see the spa services weren't fully operational, though you could book for a massage. The pool area didn't have the swim up bar operational while we were there in March, there seemed to be a shortage of staff. There wasn't enough tea/coffee supplied each day. One teabag each per day is not enough so I recommend carrying some extra supplies. The 7-Eleven was not far away and accessible by car or motorbike as Walking would not be practical along the highway connecting to the shops.

The resort is very nice and looks like traditional Thai buildings. Decorations inside are so nice and local. There are 4 swimming pools that are great and clean. The room I had was so big and comfortable. I had beautiful view on the sea and the pool. The room was very quiet. We couldn't hear our neighbours even though the rooms next to our and above us were occupied. We had huge balcony with nice coffee table and chairs.

The only thing that was a bit uncomfortable was the old electric cattle in the room. When I tried to boil water, it had unpleasant taste. But the coffee in the morning during the breakfast was really delicious

We had a great stay here over new years. It is situated at the top of a hill so you are gifted with a beautiful view, however it is a bit of a journey into either Chaweng or Lamai and can get expensive if you don't have a scooter. The rooms were lovely and so were the pools, there are about 4 pools with a sea view! I would recommend for a short stay.

The location has an amazing view although if you do want to explore the island it is a bit difficult. Nothing much else to complain about. I have seen reviews about people commenting on the outdated pool furniture, it seemed fine to us!

Very nice hotel. We had a sea view room and it was very beautiful. View from restaurant is also wow! Internet is good. Cleaning was ok. Breakfast was the same, but it’s ok.

Nothing bad about this place. It’s 3*, a bit outdated, gym is super old, so I would not say it’s there at all. Location wise - it’s on top of the hill, a bit on a side from main beaches or main spots, so you need to have a bike. If you have a bike- it’s not an issue at all, as driving distance to all main spots is short. I would easily stay there again. Nice place & nice people.

Great hotel, with awesome view and amazing staff. For those who don't plan to rent a bike keep in mind the hotel is located on the hill, so you will have a pretty rough climb each time. Besides hotel is located in a very quiet area a bit distant from all the night life regions. Considering this hotel also consider renting some wheels or using taxi.

Breakfasts are pretty much the same every day.

It was absolutely amazing. I was traveling by myself for the first time (i'm a 20 year old female) and the staff were so welcoming and lovely. The view was outstanding, although it was on a hill which was a bit of a pain because you can't walk around (I'd suggest getting a grab-bike to get around). The food at the restaurant was really good and authentic. Overall, I really enjoyed it and would definitely stay here again!

We loved our stay at the bay view, a lot of people complain about the location of the hotel but I think it’s perfect, it’s so beautiful, if you were not up the hill you wouldn’t get such a beautiful view! The staff were amazing! The food is lovely and they have three different pools, it’s like we had the pool for ourselves as there wasn’t anyone else there at certain times of the day! The only thing is the water in the rooms aren’t very hot. The staff also decorated the room so lovely for us after we had a horrible stay somewhere else. Highly recommend this place for a chill few days!

The water in the bathrooms could be warmer!

The view was unexpected,as I didnt book a Sea view room,but got one.The room was huge,could have had another Kingsize and single bed in it,I had both a bath and a shower cubicle in the bathroom.Massive amount of wardrobe space(with hangers)Room was cleaned every day.Breakfast was a feast(included).The manager was always about and helpful(if something wasnt right,he would look into it and sort it.There were to 2 seperate pools (both the same size,swimmable)and a seperate kids pool.Wifi was very good.Definlately would go back.

Nothing.Dont know how the property is,but could do with a lick of paint in a few places,but maintenance/upgrades were being done.If it was good enough for the King of Thailand a good 15/20 years ago,its good enough for me.A bit out on a limb,really need a scooter or car to make life easier,but pick up taxis were always passing by at the bottem of the driveway to flag down.

Best view ever. It had everything you could ask for.Lovely staff, great swimming pool. Excellent location, great views.superbly decorated and very peaceful. The room is huge and clean, very well equipped and the staff is very friendly and ready to help politely beyond exceptional and radiant.Pool view beyond my expectation.

An Unforgettable Experience at Samui bayview The resort was big, clean and well maintained. They had good options of swimming pool. Room service was till late which was a big plus for us. The options were good as well as the taste. Our daughter loved the kids play area. Families would love the family king rooms with partial ocean view. Appreciate the service of all staff members who were very welcoming and good.
