The price-to-value ratio is superb. We stayed for six nights, and we were impressed with the beautiful view of the Gulf of Thailand. The views on the two small beaches are also beautiful. The restaurant is excellent, and we did not feel the need to dine elsewhere. We are now elsewhere in Ko Samui, and the food at the hotel compares favorably with the better restaurants elsewhere. The grilled white snapper was exceptional. The breakfast is exceptionally good. The staff is truly wonderful, and I actually miss them. They are a genuinely nice group that is helpful and kind. The bartender makes good drinks.

There is no gym; the sand on the beach is course. Everything is a bit old; the room we stayed in is old, a little musty, and needs some rehab work. The room safe is old fashioned and required some practice to set up. There was no serious problem, and for the small nightly rate, who can complain?

The room size and view was amazing. The beach is great if you like snorkling but not good for swimming, you can walk to Silver bay 10 min walk for great swimming.

The only thing i didnt like was the internet, the internet is weak and signal comes and goes. Even when theres single dont expect to watch youtube or play brawl stars. Most you can do is send and recieve whatsapp messages. Internet strength and speed need to improve. Its also on the road side so you will hear traffic from time to time.

As I lived in Coral Cove for a month, I can talk about my stay in a little more detail. The best thing about this hotel is definitely the staff. Whether restaurant staff, bartenders, reception or gardeners: everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. You were given a very warm welcome every day. The view from the restaurant and the infinity pool is absolutely breathtaking. I would come back again for that reason alone. The rooms are large and have a warm light. The food from the restaurant was delicious! Many thanks to all the people who made such a wonderful stay possible.

Unfortunately, the drain in the shower doesn't work properly and if you take a longer shower and wash your hair as a woman, the water overflows. The prices for laundry service are too high.

Just be mindful that if you go higher in the resort, you can hear some noise from the road. We highly recommend Coral Cliff for anyone seeking a serene and luxurious seaside retreat.

The road can be noisy

The complex is very pretty and our villa had an outstanding view of the sea. The staff are polite, attentive and helpful. Good selection of international and local food.

It backed onto a very busy road which was dangerous for pedestrians. The only safe access was by car or motorbike. So we couldn’t easily walk anywhere. The beach is tiny and access to it is quite tricky (high steps, rickety railings). There aren’t enough seats in the pool area. The villa was lovely but the hot water ran out after 30 seconds so it was cold showers all week.

The property is located on a cliff and that allowed the hotel guests to enjoy a beautiful view and scenery. The breakfast was amazing. I had been craving proper breakfast, including bread, bacon and eggs and I got it. The staff were friendly. Don’t listen to the negative reviews. What goes around comes around. If you are friendly, they are also friendly. I read a lot of the comments here and most of the people sound very stuck up so expecting the world. The internet was also really good. Thank you for hosting us.

The Western food at the restaurant was not so good. The rooms were a bit dated but honestly, once you see the view you forget about the rooms. I did cut myself on the beach but it’s not called coral beach for nothing.

The best thing about this place is the staff! They go beyond your wishes and really try to make you feel as comfortable as possible. We were disgusted as to how some other guests treated their hospitality which proves how human beings are rotten and feel superior to others, especially if they pay a little bit more for their stay. Again, hats down to all the work the staff does! You are amazing.

This was actually a plus for us, but could be a minus for others that like to travel around more. We were on our honeymoon, so we could not care less about running around all the time. The resort is pretty secluded, if you want to hike to Lamai, it’s a 4km hike in the burning sun or a rather expensive cab ride.

The infinity pool was very pretty and the little villas very romantic with nice view. Breakfast had a good variety and quality. They always gave a prepared complementary Mango without asking, the staff were very nice and helpful. The view was awesome. The gym is simple and nice.

The pool area is a bit small considering that the beach is not as good for lounging. The nicer beach close by is hard to access. There were not enough sunbeds, you had to come really early because other guests kept reserving the beds. Not suitable for kids, because there is simply no area to play in the small pool area. The prices were expensive considering there is no alternative around except for taking a taxi to Chaweng

We stayed in Villa with sea view, room number 227. The view definitely fulfilled our expectation, of course there were other villas with better view but it is a bit of luck which villa you get unless you know the number ;) The room was big enough for 2 people and it was clean. We stayed 8 days and it was a comfortable stay. The staff is friendly and helpful. We were happy with breakfast with many options and also dinner with a good menu, quality food. If the hotel is full you may struggle to find space on pool side, nevertheless pool are was one of best place to relax, enjoy the view and swim to get fresh. Even tough you need taxi, tuk tuk or scooter to go to city center you are just 2 minutes walking distance from Coral Cove bay, hotel also have some small beaches inside premises, and 5 minutes scooter distance from Crystal beach.. We enjoyed our stay and if we go to Samui again we may chose this hotel again.

There is not much to dislike about hotel.. One thing I can mention is AC is very noisy and not possible to keep it on while sleeping, but staff is very helpful to provide fan with less noisy option, otherwise it can get really hot in the room :)

The room we picked had an amazing view. I couldn't have asked for more. Our balcony opened on a beach with the ocean in front. It was just amazing. We never closed the curtains and hearing the water was so peaceful. The room was spacious and had enough space for everything. The bed was facing the balcony door so we could actually sit on our bed and see the ocean. It was just beyond words.

Though we got mesmerized by the view of our room, there were definitely certain things that could have been better. We requested an early check-in but there are times when the room is not free but when we arrived we hardly saw people in the hotel and the staff didn't let us check-in. The check-in time was 1400 and they didn't allow at 13:45 as well. This was a little put-off. A very minor thing would be the stairs to reach our room were a lot and not properly made. I always felt I would fall.
