Doing a lot of travelling and this is the nicest place we have stayed at... Stayed at more expensive places and this was way nicer. Beautiful spacious bungalow. Lush tropical gardens beautifully maintained, all around. Clean pools. Really great location. Far nicer than chaweng and Lamai in our opinion. Smile House is practically opposite coco tams and the fire show. Right next to the night market too, but a quiet location. Breakfast is 5 star too and right in the beach

Lovely quiet hotel although right off the Main Street. (Fisherman’s market) breakfast was perfect. Man cooks eggs for you in seconds. Loads of shops and restaurants to choose from nearby. Both pools were lovely. Room clean and tidy. Fresh water and towels everyday.

Property was stunning. Only down side was the beach wasn’t so much sand and more shells. Hard to walk on. Buy hardly a complaint considering you are in paradise.

Love the location and the pools were great, with lots of available recliners and umbrellas.

The pictures imply you can buy drinks at/near the pool, which isn’t the case.

Location is great, close to airport 15min and pralan pier 15min too. Bungalows are comfy and spacious. Nightmarket just in front of hotel

Bathroom a bit soso, access to reception can be difficult due to market in front of the property

Bungalow was clean, great size and included a king and single bed. It had a balcony with chairs and ceiling fan which was great for lazing the afternoon away. Location and views were fantastic, walk across the lane to the beach. Close to Coco Tams and Happy Elephant. On-site restaurant, bar, pizza place, it was amazing. Breakfast selection was very good and food was fresh and yummy. The gardens and the property are beautiful and so well kept. Gardens watered twice a day. 2 pools, spa, it was great. Staff very polite and friendly.

Mattress not really comfortable and needs to be replaced. Shower head and water pressure usable but need to be replaced.

Very well located on the edge of Fisherman's Village. Staff were very pleasant and always acknowledged their customers and keen to help. Room was very clean, serviced daily with fresh towels, water, linen etc. Breakfast was served at the beachfront restaurant so perfect views. Accommodation was an individual unit bungalow/villa and private with a nice furnished outside terrace. The grounds are large, well kept and the 2 pools also very pleasant.

The accommodation we stayed in did lack draw space and there were only 4 hangers in the wardrobe. I always take quite a few anyway so we just about managed. The only other issue for us was our last day we had to be out of the room at 12pm. Our flight back to Bangkok wasn't until late evening. Unfortunately we were not able to extend our room time nor was there any other available as they were full. There was a shower available in the hotel's communal toilets, which was a little impersonal but manageable. There were no additional accessories within ie: hairdryer but we were given towels which was a help.

The staff and facilities at Smile are amazing! Twice we have stayed now and I will keep coming back. Key perks: it’s right next to the market but still peaceful at night, the pools are big and clean, the eggs are cooked fresh in the morning 😊

Only negative is the pools are overshadowed by lots of trees so afternoon sun is a little challenging.

Lovely boutique property in Fisherman’s Village area comprising of traditional wooden villas surrounded by lush foliage. There are 2 large swimming pools, one with a pagoda style area to sit and relax in away from the sun or rain (we had a few short but heavy rain showers during our stay!) The restaurant for breakfast is just over the small road and is set right on the beach. Food was really good with lots of choice and the staff were so kind and hard working. We ate there once for dinner (excellent menu) but it was fully booked when we tried another night - should have made a reservation!

Room tip - unless you are a heavy sleeper make a request for a villa away from the front as every night we heard the recycling being collected from the restaurant at around 4.00 am! Shower area could do with being modernised but was clean and did the job.

Location and pool area surrounded by lush gardens. Restaurant on beach, breakfast very good. Our bungalow was good. Gardens kept beautifully neat and any leaves removed.

Unfortunately shower was awful. Main shower head completely scummed up. Water pressure so low that mixer tap unable to deliver correct temperature. So you had either hot water or cold water, showering was not pleasant 🤢 Receptionist on leaving couldn't be bothered to enquire about our Stay, no eye contact or even a goodbye. Some days loud music from night market. Although not the hotels fault the sea in this area is not very clean and we went to other beaches for the clear water we were expecting.

Breakfast was very good. Location was fantastic. The staff were incredible.

The shower room was a little tired. But not enough to complain about. Think they're planning an update soon.
