The view from the rooms (we had a seaview) is wonderful. You can't really wish for more. The location of the hotel is perfect - just at the beginning of the walking street before all the bars and restaurants so you are close to the entertainment without getting the noise. The room was huge and bright with a modern interior. Our room was cleaned every day. The owner is friendly and a funny guy.

The door of the room is not really sound proof so you can hear when somebody is coming in or out. The hotel is small so not really big of a deal.

No pool. There is a beach club 500 mtrs down the road that is owned by the hotel. But make sure you purchase food or drink. I wasn't aware i had to and the owner followed me out when i left to advise me that although i was a guest at her hotel i was allowed to use her pool free of charge but i was expected to purchase something, with 15% discount. I felt terribly embarrassed as i wasn't aware. It would be good to know this before you go to swim in her pool.

The bidet/ bum gun’ seemed to leak randomly so bathroom floor was always very wet! That was the only thing though.

Full room information including size is available before booking, and our room seemed more spacious than what I expected. It was clean, bed very comfortable, bathroom a good size with walk-in shower. Had city/mountain view room on 1st floor. The balcony looked onto power lines and the local motorcycle rental and restaurant on the other side of the road. I enjoyed watching the street life very much in the mornings, with the locals starting opening up for the day, so this was great for me. If that bothers you ask for a higher floor level. Perfect location to walk everywhere. Great service. Recommend. Bonus tip: for a great sunset view, try Ad Hoc wine bar/restaurant which has a lovely outdoor terrace.

We have just had a fantastic 6 night stay at the Riviera Beach Hotel. The hotel was spotless and we had a sea view room which had the most amazing views and is a must if staying there. The breakfasts for 250 Bhat (£5) was great and what better place to eat it than sat on the restaurant balcony with an ocean view. The hotel is in a great location at the quieter east end of walking street but only a short 2 minute walk to all the restaurants and bars. Pepito the manager was great and nothing was too much trouble and he made us feel at home from the outset. All in all a fantastic 6 night stay and would highly recommend but make sure you get a sea view room.

Nothing everything was great

We only stayed here for 1 night before our flight back from Koh Samui the next day. SUCH A FRIENDLY greeting on arrival, probably the nicest hotel staff we’ve had the whole trip. Very welcoming and chatty, so thank you for that. We appreciate good service like that. They also allowed us to check in hours earlier as our room was available so that was extremely helpful as we could then leave our bags and get on with our last day. They also took our bags up to the room for us. PERFECT LOCATION. Right in the middle of Fisherman’s Village and by the beach but with minimal noise and slept well. Room is only small but has everything you need and is very clean. Very comfy bed, flat screen tv and fridge with complimentary water. The ONLY slight tiny thing I can point out is that the air conditioning is directly over the bed so no matter what setting it was on it was extremely powerful and sometimes hard to get cosy with it on but then too hot without it on. But there isn’t really anywhere else it could be placed so I do understand completely. However, this would not stop me staying again and no other complaints at all, short but sweet stay! Keep up the good work and thank you for being so accommodating!

We stayed in the two bedroom apartment and another member of our group stayed in a private room overlooking the beach. Both spaces were incredible. The staff were so kind and welcoming and always available if we had any questions. The two bedroom apartment was an absolute dream; private rooms each with their own bathrooms, a kitchen, living room, and a deck overlooking the ocean with a private door right onto the beach. The space was beautiful, calm, and absolutely perfect. A two-second walk to fisherman's village main road was the cherry on top.

Everything was so wonderful! The only tiny comment to leave here is that while you do have access to The Deck, a nearby pool in a beach club, walking there, while possible, isn't something I would recommend for large groups or those with children, as there is no sidewalk or much space to walk far enough away from the road. It's not a busy, busy road, but there are some blind curves and people drive much too quickly along this road. But once you are there the club and pool are perfect. It's just not something I would encourage people to walk to is all!

The location was absolutely perfect. It was relatively close to the airport, right on the beach and located on the edge of the main boardwalk of Fisherman's Village. It was the ideal location. The minute you walk out on the street there are dozens of restaurants and shops. Pito was a fabulous host and helped with coordinating transportation to the airport and a tour.

There was some pretty loud guests next to our room but that's no fault of the management. You should be aware that it's near the party areas so you will hear some light thumping until about midnight. This is normal for any party beach town. No big deal really - I guess I'm just getting old. lol.

+ Location: Right in Fisherman’s Village, yet just outside of the really busy and noisy part. Best burger place, Mango sticky rice stand (70 Baht!), 7eleven and multiple other restaurants within 1-2 minutes walking distance. Market Mon+Wed+Fri. + Staff: Very friendly and always helpful. Very relaxed owner. Daily room service while we had breakfast. + Breakfast: Toast, eggs, coffee, juice, really good jam (European standards), plus they offer to provide anything else you need for the next days. 250 Baht per day per person (cheaper than anywhere else). + Beach/View: despite high season, this part of the beach is almost empty and looks beautiful (see negatives, though). We had a see view room. Balcony = Paradise. We travelled with a 1.5 yo baby and checked out other places as well. We highly recommend Riviera Beach Hotel. Alternatives for families/kids in our eyes are only the Holiday Inn (which is, of course, much! busier and located close to some rather loud beach bars) or the Bandara Resort (which looked really nice and calm). If it is your main stay of the vacation and you want a little more infrastructure than just breakfast, we would recommend Bandara/Holiday Inn. Otherwise, go with Riviera Beach!

- Aircon was a little bit moldy. - No air circulation in bathroom (no window/vent). - Beach: Swimming only possible during high tide. At low tide, water is too shallow (impossible to walk out far enough). However, perfect for small kids/toddlers.

Had the beachfront room with an amazing view, room was a fair size with a balcony to sit out and take in that sea view,. Great location hotel and room were quiet and just off the Main Street but literally seconds from the start of the walking street. Beach location but water appeared a little murky when swimming. Fabulous manger who was helpful and entertaining, he really went above and beyond to make our stay pleasurable areal asset to the hotel.

A pool would have been nice given our worries about sea cleanliness. Bathroom had some some loose tiles appeared to lifting from walls and need some attention as grout appeared to getting past its best.
