absolutely everything !! this place is hands down the best place I’ve stayed in so far in lamai. The bungalow itself is very cute and clean with a cute terrace and table right in front. the water in the shower can be hot if you like and the bed is comfortable ! you can tell that the staff takes great care in making sure the place is completely spotless. My favorite part about staying here was the staff. Ghada and her husband Yves are both lovely people, who truly want their guests to feel at home. Ghada very generously upgraded me to a room with an AC when I first arrived. She also took a good hour to explain to me where to visit not just on the island but in Thailand in general. These are just a couple of the many generous things the host offered during my stay. she is a genuine sweetheart! The vibe at this place is so nice and chill, you just feel good when you’re there! the restaurant is great as well - reasonably priced with delicious authentic Thai food. I only stayed one day and really wish I could have stayed longer! I’m currently in New Hut and it’s terrible compared to Green Canyon. This place literally ticks all the boxes (cleanliness, friendly staff, great location, great food, etc). you’re not even a two minute walk from the beach and lots of great beach bars / cafes. Trust me, you will definitely not regret coming here! :)

absolutely nothing!! For me this place was perfect.

The location is wonderful. The garden is well attended to and it is quiet. The bungalows are about 4 mins away from Lamai beach. There is a small pool and chairs and a restaurant. I didn’t use these facilities. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The owners are kind and chatty.

It’s down to me -no the property -I didn’t check the size of the standard bungalow and there was no space for a yoga mat to give an idea. This is my lack of reading the description. The only other comment would be the towels - after they get a little wet they start to smell. I guess it’s normal in humid conditions but no so nice after the shower.

As soon as we walked through the gate of this property we were Welcomed by a truly amazing host. She paid special attention to our needs and was helpful and genuine her dedication to her guests is demonstrated in the beautiful property and its amenities. This property is in a very ideal location close to the beautiful beach and Nightlife (A bit of a walk or very short Songthaew ride) yet far enough that it’s secluded it is very private and quiet the beautiful foliage jungle atmosphere gave us the all privacy we needed. Beautiful pool and Lounge area to Sun. They have a cozy little Restaurant and Bar with very tasty Thai food The bungalow was very comfortable and the climate control in the room was perfect we felt at home! This is an excellent place to stay if you don’t want to be in the middle of the party but still want to be near it and if you want to be treated like a welcomed guest I would highly recommend Green Canyon!!!!! Everything was fantastic! Wonderful, quiet, small resort with amazing owners who make you feel so welcome from the minute you arrive until you leave. Nothing is too much trouble! We went for 2 nights but were really sad to leave. The rooms and bathrooms are immaculate and spotless and everything looks new! There is a lovely pool as well and you are a few minutes walk away from a gorgeous beach...what more could you ask for? We loved sitting having a drink with everyone in the evening in the bar. The food is amazing and so well priced and breakfast just as amazing. Thank you JJ and Gharda for a fabulous stay! We will be back

It’s great value for money and the place is exceptional. Nice and calming atmosphere, typical Thai bungalows, beautiful and extremely well maintained garden with pool. The resort is family run and the owners are extremely polite and professional and very supportive. They are very passionate about their job and they always make sure that their staff can meet clients expectations. the property was clean and comfortable.. we booked a fan room and the fan provided a good enough breeze that we turned it off during the night as we were cold- always a good thing with a fan! the swimming pool was great and the owners and staff at the property were friendly and welcoming! good location also!

nothing-liked it all!

A beautiful location off the main highway amongst the trees. The bungalows are all well situated amongst the trees and each has its own balcony with table and chairs and a drying rail. The facilities were very clean and tidy and we really enjoyed having a bar on site. The owners were extremeley attentative and with a few people in the bar or playing boules each evening it had a very friendly cosy feel to the place. Breakfast is available each morning from 0800 to 0930. We ate breakfast every day apart from once. At 200 baht for bacon and eggs, 2 x toast, croissant, coffee and orange juice it represented good value for money and what a lovely peaceful setting to breakfast anyway. The owners were especailly helpful with arranging things for us with others at a good price. For instance they asked if we wanted to get a private taxi from the airport, which we did. It was cheaper than a grab would have been and the driver was waiting for us at arrivals, which made it painless especially as the plane was 45 minutes late. They also arranged for a scooter for us at 200 baht per day and it was delivered whilst we ate breakfast. Because it was a local company they work with we did not have to give a deposit or any other suriety. Finally, they recommended a travel company to use for a transfer from Koh Samui to Koh Lanta. Again this was done very professionaly and we only paid the going rate.

The internet was a little shaky at times.

Ghada and Yves were fantastic hosts. Our bungalow was spotlessly clean, with cleaning daily and fresh towels daily also. The air conditioning in the room worked really well. Both dogs on site owned by the owners, are just adorable, very sweet and also gave us such a warm welcome. Fantastic proximity to the beach to lovely restaurants and also Green Canyon provide delicious Thai food on site. Pool is just bliss also, with beds and pool towels provided. Overall would highly recommend and really hope to return next year at some point! Thanks to all!

Nothing all was just fabulous.

Green Canyon Resort is a gorgeous place with an amazing garden full of beautiful plants and flowers, so well maintained. The swimming pool is clean and nice. The owners and the staff are welcoming, kind and helpful. The two dogs are lovely and quiet. My bungalow was perfect, a bit tiny but it get all the essential I need: Comfy double bed with nice pillows, hot shower and a mini frigidaire. Furthermore there is a very useful open stand where you can hang your clothes and a very practical cabinet for storing your stuff. My balcony was so beautiful and relaxing with two chairs and a table for having my breakfast and having a rest from the sun and another mini stand to hang the beach towel. They provide beach towel and a hairdryer, if you ask. The place was extremely clean and tidy, and I really enjoyed that, they clean the rooms every 2 days. The place is calm, quiet and peaceful, so refreshing with all those plants. Location is just perfect: 3 minimarket or 7/11 five min by foot, all the bars and restaurants of Lamai at 10-15-20 min distance by foot. A gorgeous calm, beautiful, clean beach 5 min by foot and the beautiful rocks of Hin Ta and Hin Yai. An easy place to find with the taxi and a lot of taxies around on the main street. I had a bungalow with a fan and never felt warm, it's perfect.

Nothing everything was great.

We stayed for 2 nights and loved it. Very friendly owners and staff. Helped us with everything we needed (scooter, medication, etc). It was like staying with relatives or grandparents. Our room had a fan and at least when we were in October it was very sufficient. Very tasty menu. Beach only 100m away and clean with sun beds. The garden was beautiful and clean, where you can also take beautiful pictures. It was good to cool off from the sun in the pool. The dogs Bo and Bela were friendly. We warmly recommend. One of the best places to stay at this price on Koh Samui.
