location was good near walking street , property was beautiful very large hotel with lovel gardens and animals , lizards roaming free etc very cool to see was nice , room very nice and comfortable and pool is nice as well

no hairdryer in the room was only thing I didn’t like about the hotel apart from. that it’s pretty awesome , also if price was a bit better would have stayed here my full trip however to expensive to stay for two weeks

Staff were friendly and efficient. Breakfast was excellent. Facilities were very good, enjoyed the swimming pool. Bathroom was well equipped with shower and bath.

Bed was rock hard although the pillows were great. Housekeeping added a mattress topper on request but this didn’t help. Soundproofing was totally inadequate, we were kept awake most nights by someone above us scraping their chairs on their balcony. we believe it was two floors above but the sound carried right into our room. It started about 2am and continued all night. Did complain but nothing was done.

The room was beyond our expectations. The interior of the hotel is very stylish with the colonial feel to it.

I cannot think of anything i didn’t like about the hotel.

1. Good location on walking street with various night life attractions near by at walking distance 2. Lots of restaurants near by and particularly the Indian restaurants 3. 2 pools and both are awesome 4. Parking facility for parking car or 2 wheeler is very good 5. Rooms are spacious, furniture is new, Bathrooms are also new 6. Staff is good and co-operative 7. Check in and Check out is very fast 8. One can bring Guests if required, no joiner fees 9. Good choices for Break fast - particularly for Thai and Continental food 10. Can bring and order food from outside in the Hotel, if required 11. Great view of Ocean from the Ocean facing rooms

The staff at the reception was very friendly and helpful. All the staff including the parking and at the swimming pool greeted us very well.

The swimming pool at the front was closed. The lighting at the walkway and lobby was less. Construction Infront of the hotel was loud until 5pm. Hotel lobby had a particular smell which was unexplainable.

Service at both restaurants left a lot to be desired. Starters and main courses all arriving together, first time I ate at Bali Hai. Then eating with a friend, her main course came with fries when rice had been requested; and it arrived 15 minutes before mine. Dadly trained chef, who has not reecognised how bad it is when one guest's food arrives before the other's. In western society it is extremely rude and bad manners to start to eat before your guest's food arrives. Waiters outside at Bali Hai also inattentive; impossible to attract their attentions. TAKE THEIR MOBILE PHONES FROM THEM when they are supposed to be working and looking after your clients food and needs

Comfortable room, lovely interior garden, ideally located for walking (out the front door) or catching a bus (out the back door).

Many comments complain about the canal - as far as I can see the hotel has no actual control over it (it is not hotel property). If you're in the rooms at the back of the hotel complex, indeed you will have to cross the bridge over the canal. Face the reality and appreciate the luxury of the hotel itself.

Hi Rooms at the Park View is too Remote. also the smell from the Canal is not good. Breakfast was Good . the only Main issue is that the front office staff except for only two others does not know have to take care of the customers as they are not customer friendly at all

Front Office staff expect for one Male & Femal staff others does not know how to handle customers. they were not customer friendly and either they should be give proper training or they should be changed as it will effect the customers at all . One customer told me that he asked for a bottle of water and the staff refused and he was checking out and going to westin Hotel
