A quirky old hotel, very dated but clean, and full of old furniture and memorabilia. You'll either love it or you'll hate it - we really enjoyed the experience. We couldn't get the internet to work, but discovered you need to plug in a cable in the hallway, which regularly gets unplugged again. The staff were really lovely, and were happy to fill up jugs of hot water for us so we could make morning coffee. It's right in the heart of the town, and just a couple of minutes' walk from the train station. Excellent value for money, if you're just looking for a clean and comfortable base for a night or two.

The room is bright and clean. The ceiling fan is working well too. Top up with 40 THB for a quieter room.

Easy getting from train station. Also close to night food market, coffee place and atm. Once i passed the languaje barrier they were very attentive.

The location was brilliant - a 5 minute walk from the railway station and night market. Towels, soap and bottled water were provided. The room was old but was clean and everything worked; air-conditioning was great. The WIFI was consistent and strong (just had to check it was plugged in!). The couple who run the hotel were really welcoming and the Uncle spoke English so we were able to get information about songthaews to the bus station.

The water in the shower was cold. There were no plug sockets near the bed. FOR INFO ONLY: The hotel is old and worn, but I found it to be clean so for the price was happy. The WIFI and electricity plug are in the hallway and turned off when quiet. We didn't have any issues with this and just switched them on/off depending on if we were in/out. We were shown where they were should we need to work them though.

I was happy with my stay here. It is a budget hotel so you're not going to get a 5 star experience but the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was very clean. The manager was very friendly and extremely helpful. There is a lift. I will stay here again.

bang in the centre of town. only needed the room for 6 hours whilst waiting for train. WiFi was excellent once it had been plugged in .

Clean old vibes hotel, affordable and easy access

Cheap private room really close to train station. Warm water available.

Ac was ok, but the unit is probably older than me. Didn't really cool room down much. Couldn't have fan on at night it was too noisy. The bats really are an issue here; can hear them most of the time apart from the dead of night when they're out. But interesting to have them fly past your head in the corridor. Also strong smell of rat poo some mornings by elevator. Could be cleaner, maybe throw away the empty air scent in the room. Strange how the blanket on the bed was more like a large towel, very rough. Pillows on bed are super hard, I think maybe meant to be memory foam but they're like a rock. Desk is poor; plastic flimsy chair and can't even fit legs under. Hope you don't plan on doing any writing here.

Located close to the railway station and despite being old, is good value. Friendly older couple running it.

Was alongside a near all night courier depot and all night 'hole in the wall' convenience store, and just along the road from a morning produce market. This has to be one of the noisiest hotels I've evr stayed in.
