Loved the location because you can walk anywhere to Michelin star restaurants with delicious, food, shopping, and bonus was the Chinese new year celebrations where streets in old Town were shut for traffic and there were stalls, music, dancing on the streets. The staff were great especially at the reception. Very kind and helpful in arranging tours, cabs.

Only problem was the hotel doesn't have an elevator. They have one for the luggage. Stairs are very steep so was a struggle for me to walk to second floor as suffer from plantar fascitis.

The location was fabulous, walking distance from cafes and restaurants as well as the iconic clock tower, multi-coloured houses, and flower street. Staff were lovely and replaced water every day.

The hotel has no lift except for baggage, and breakfast was very basic. Coffee was undrinkable, and orange juice tasted like Tang (ready-made or powdered juice). We were given a room on the top floor looking out onto the main road, opposite a restaurant that played live music until 11pm, so we couldn't sleep until they stopped as it was super loud in the room.

I was so happy with the Casablanca Hotel and have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this hotel to other guests. The room was immaculately clean with a good quality mattress and linen. The bathroom was modern, the shower provided good hot and cold water pressure. The staff are absolutely delightful and so generous with their recommendations for restaurants and cafés nearby. The hotel itself is very well located. I paid to upgrade to a balcony room (well worth the money). Around the corner is 'The Buds Bar' (enter via the 'Eleven Two' café/shop) and a great place to visit, so too is 'Mad Cow Burgers' - highly recommended.

Be aware that the hotel only has a luggage elevator - some rooms are only accessible via stairs.

Location was amazing, opposite our favourite bar in Phuket Old Town, right in the heart and right near the Sunday markets. Brilliant location - also near Rassada Pier if you're travelling that way onwards as we were. Breakfast was also very sweet too.

Really have nothing to complain about. Only thing would be their sign said 250 Baht to get a taxi from the hotel to Rassada Pier, and I was told it was 300, even though there was blatantly a sign for 250. But they were lovely and we were tired so we just said yes. Also not the cheapest hotel in Thai terms (about GBP£57 with breakfast) but location makes up for that.

Such a charming, stylish boutique hotel in the perfect Old Town location. Love the colonial-type feel, the tiles, the indoor garden by the breakfast room. Our room was great, large comfy bed, plenty of space with view to pool. The pool area is very small (only 2 sun beds) but we went for a dip a couple times in afternoon, when we had it all to ourselves. Loved the busy night market right around the corner, there's a lot of live music at the market (with benches) so you can try some street food, eat and watch entertainment. Plenty of shopping around. The reception and cleaning staff were some of the nicest people, they booked a cab for us and were happy to hold/store our luggage after we checked out.

Breakfast was fine, just simple/ basic. Watermelon, pineapple, eggs, toast. The drip coffee wasn't good. Surprising, because there are a lot of cafes nearby with great coffee, espresso drinks. The live music bar across street is super loud at night (not the hotels fault). Also, taxis are expensive if you want to go to the beaches, but normally, people don't stay in Old Town if they mainly want to go to the beach!

- beautiful building in the heart of the old town - amazingly nice staff, they will always go the extra effort for you! The receptionist gave me some good advice on how to take motorcycle-taxi, thank you so much! - complimentary water and fruits - very clean

If anything, I would say that it’s a bit noisy during the night due to the bars and street around. But you can get earplugs at the reception if needed and the door to the balcony has even been doubled to cancel the noise a bit.

Beautiful hotel, wonderful staff, central location.

I asked for quiet room because I read the negative reviews about the very loud bar across the street. When I arrived, my room was across from the bar and I couldn’t sleep until after midnight. The next day I had to move, which was another inconvenience but I had a lovely quiet room to remaining 2 nights. They had received my request but told me they were unable to provide one until the second night of my day, which was very disappointing and a bad start to and otherwise pleasant stay.

During our two-day stay in Phuket, our priority was the location, and this hotel proved to be the perfect choice. Impeccably clean and adorned with beautiful interior décor, the hotel met our expectations. The staff was incredibly attentive, always striving to assist in the best possible manner. Upon our arrival, we were warmly greeted and offered a refreshing welcome drink, a kind gesture after our lengthy taxi journey from Khao Sok National Park. Our room was both spacious and tidy, including the bathroom. The tasteful decor contributed to a comfortable ambience. Despite its proximity to the bustling high street, our room facing the pool provided a serene environment with no disturbances. Although we didn't have the opportunity to enjoy the inviting pool, it certainly caught our eye. Overall, our stay was delightful, and we highly recommend this hotel for those looking to explore Old Phuket Town and its surrounding attractions.

Best historical building in the who city. Must stay in the front rooms double glazed for the party pub opposite which eliminates most of the noise the back rooms don’t have the same rapport

You have to use the steps as the lift is restricted to your luggage only which really needs addressing Breakfasts are very basic and I believe are made somewhere else and warmed up which is crazy Also need to get teapots out for the tea drinkers! And serve with cold milk

Fabulous location in the old town. We had a room on the top floor facing the street with a great balcony to watch all the action. We loved the building and the pool was cool after a hot day walking around the old town.

Its very noisy. Despite the tripe glazed windows the music from the bar across the street is very loud and the Phuket 2023 installation plays music at the same time. We didn’t mind it to much as we were only there for 3 nights and it all wraps up about 11pm but if you need quite to sleep I’d recommend staying somewhere else!
