We recently stayed at Chanalay Flora Resort with my spouse and mother-in-law to celebrate two special occasions: our 5th wedding anniversary and my mother-in-law’s 55th birthday. The hotel made our stay truly memorable by giving us vouchers for a plate of fruits and surprising my mother-in-law with music and a cake during breakfast. It was such a thoughtful gesture! The hotel is spotless, with two beautiful pools and easy access to the beach. There’s even a nearby 7-Eleven, which was really convenient. It’s the perfect place for a 7-10 day stay, offering all the necessary amenities. Will we return? Absolutely yes!

The staff is the friendliest I’ve ever experienced! Everyone always had a huge smile and were genuinely happy to see you. The room was clean and spacious with coffee, tea and water provided daily. Great shower with hot water and shower gel, shampoo and lotion. The resort had a great breakfast buffet with a lot of options (although it was a bit pricey for breakfast but definitely worth it!) 2 pools and a gym were really nice bonuses. Walking distance to the beach and main streets with shops, restaurants and bars yet still a quiet hotel. Highly recommended

Property is perched upon a hill overlooking Kata - Everything you need is within 2/3 minute walk. Fantastic!

Breakfast could have been better truth be told, however, the staff were beyond excellent and kind.

This hotel is wonderful. The 2 swimming pools were perfect too cool off in. Having the bar to order drinks and snacks was great. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. They went above and beyond. The batteries in my tv remote were dead and they came up straight away and followed up with a phone call. It was one of the friendliest hotels I have ever stayed in the world. Nothing was an issue. The room was basic, but the fridge, tv and bed were perfect, along with the balcony and gorgeous views of the Sea. I would stay here again. Also only 3 minute walk to beach.

I cannot fault this hotel. It was perfect value for money. There can be tiny little lizards around the walls of general corridor areas and the cicadas were extremely noisy in the trees but it was part of the experience of Thailand and I would stay again.

Very clean rooms, very polite personnel. The hotel was not too big, so it felt cozy. We loved the fact that it was not on the main road, so it was quiet both day and night. However, it was within walking distance to all the shops and nightlife, just a few minutes away. The beach was accessible via a small walkway, which took about 5 minutes. There was a great selection at breakfast, and parking was also available. Overall, we loved the homey feel!

The staff were all lovely and really helpful, they made you feel like a VIP. The rooms were a decent size and clean. The pool was gorgeous. We didn’t eat at the hotel so we didn’t get to experience the food unfortunately. The hotel have a taxi stand in the car park which was really handy and all the taxi drivers were really nice. We didn’t realise there was a shortcut to the beach near the hotel and spent over half an hour walking to kata beach until we realised the last day ( this is our fault for not realising but just mentioning so future customers are aware there is easier routes to the beach ). We recommend visiting yanui beach to visit as this was our favourite.

The location is really nice if your staying in kata but it can be expensive to visit other areas of Phuket.

The hotel has exceeded all expectations! Everything was very comfortable and beautiful, the staff was polite and friendly, the breakfasts were delicious. The room was clean and well renovated, it had a large comfy bed, a big table so it was possible to work from the room, a refrigerator. Drinking water, tea and coffee bags were brought to the room every day. The hotel has a very convenient location, there are many cafes and restaurants around, as well as a quiet and beautiful Kata beach. For several years, this trip turned out to be the best holiday, we got incredible impressions, get relaxed and fully enjoyed Thailand. I celebrated my birthday during the trip and the staff left some cute congrats in the room - I was very pleased :)

Everything was just wonderful

The hotel is not what you would expect it to be (in the very best way of). First and foremost, the inner court of the hotel is already a tropical garden with 2 pools. The staff is super kind, and will help you with any request. The restaurant at the premises if very clean and the food is of very nice quality. However heads up, this is not a place for people that are looking for a busy nightlife, as (at least during my stay) most of the guests are families and couples. But if you want to disconnect and just be escape for a bit from everything, this is a nice place to be. My room had amazing view on the inner court and you can see the big Buddha from the balcony which adds up to the experience. The closest beach is in 7/10 minutes walk.

Oh wow! What a pleasant surprise. Everything and more that we were hoping from the resort. The location is the best part. Fall out of bed onto the beach / shopping areas / food markets / massages. The pools are fantastic. Rooms are excellent and look over the pools. Absolute value for money. Already planning our next visit. Really - couldn't have been better. Loved it! Highly recommended. This hotel was from another world. Not only the resort itself was gorgeous, but the stuff there were a 10/10! Since we walked through the reception we felt very welcome and supported at all times. The resort facilities are amazing and our room was just lovely - views to the Big Buddha were a plus. The breakfast was delightful, lot of options and the stuff were very helpful and smiling. There are lot of food options nearby (we tried to avoid the main road next to the hotel and look for more local restaurants - worth it!). We will come back to this very same hotel next time in Kata.
