This is the second time we have stayed here as the villas are truly amazing The location is perfect as you are up a hill and looking down to Kamala town and the ocean The villas are exceptionally clean and the rooms are really spacious. The pool is amazing and there is lots of outside space, perfect for just chilling. The way the villas are positioned is great as you are not overlooked and there is also lots of trees and greenery around the villa, making it even more private There is a daily shuttle bus that takes you to the beach and the supermarket, or if you are feeling energetic, you can walk up and down the hill to the streets below The breakfast is lovely, tasty and beautifully presented, there is food served until nighttime if you want to stay in, rather than go into Kamala itself However, the one point that makes this place so special, are the staff Every member of staff are very friendly, welcoming and nothing is too much trouble for them. They really do look after you, they are exceptional. A special thank you to Andreas for providing a super breakfast I would truly recommend the villas to everyone It’s just perfect

The services were excellent Welcoming altitudes noticed The breakfast provided as requested The villa has 3 bedrooms more than enough for us, we used only two. 🚌 always available to give a free ride to the big c or the beach.

It was at the top of the mountain, so always I needed a ride.

- the privacy and calmness of the place - very polite and kind personnel, warm and eager to help whenever needed, going above the beyond for their customers - the private pool was absolutely amazing - the place was spotless clean and cleaning was provided every day - the shuttle bus available every day to/from Kamala beach - their app - really useful to order food from the restaurant and other services, to communicate with front office available 24h - the floating breakfast- unique experience, would totally recommend - the mosquito repellent and anti insect spiral provided free of charge - the jacuzzi was also very nice - drinking water provided for free every day

Nothing- it was so nice that we actually cancelled an accommodation we had for the following days in another part of the island, and booked a second booking there. We had a very warm welcome from the personnel when we returned ❤️

Upon arrival, the staff were especially helpful. We dealt with Vin, who was very informative and gave us a brief tour of the villa. From reception to the villa, you can be transported by electric "golf buggies," although our villa was close by, so not a regular occurrence. The room service was top-notch! Breakfast was a pleasure, and we ordered a la carte on our first evening as we were tired from travelling. Excellent choices and the food was well presented The resort have a shuttle bus service every hour to Kamala beach and returns every 15min past the hour. We hired the on-site car, a comfortable BMW X1, which gave us the freedom to travel around the island at our leisure There are many elephant sanctuaries on Phuket island but we wanted to visit one where there were no chains, no people carrying etc and we found a family run one 15min drive away where we could feed and hug the 3 elephants living there. Well worth the 800bht each Back to the Tantawan Villa resort & Spa........ The villa was exceptionally clean and full of all amenities you could think of. Bed was comfortable, the pool and pool area sublime luxury, and the water was warm, so we spent hours in it looking at the views. Due to the layout of the villas, we were secluded enough to not have to worry about prying eyes. It was very private, and this was a huge bonus for us Shops, restaurants, beach are all nearby in the town, although the resort sits high up on a steep hill so better catching a cab, grab or uber! We loved our 7 nights and can only recommend the resort to those thinking of a quiet, relaxing break. Thank you to all the resort staff, 10/10

Leaving to the airport after a wonderful week

Absolutely fabulous villa pool excellent staff great. The location is up a steep incline so not good if you want to walk everywhere. However Noygolf buggies to get you to reception and free shuttle bus every hour to supermarket and beach. A great place to relax. Plenty bars and restaurants at Kamala Beach busy but not like Patong

Nothing i didn't like but a couple of suggestions A handrail on the steps of the pool would be helpful as tiles slippy There are 4 set breakfasts i would have liked yogurt and fruit and poached eggs for example but they were on different sets. an A La Carte breakfast menu would give more choice Also as breakfast delivered to your villa it would be better if transported in insulated boxes to keep hot food hot

Absolutely recommend this property. The staff was wonderfully attentive from the first moment to the last. A surprising array of comforts can be delivered on demand to the villas, and they are great at giving you advice to get out and about explore. The views of the ocean are amazing, the infinity pool is ideal, and the outdoor seating made it super easy to avoid or get soaked by the sun. Great jacuzzi tub and bathroom overall.

Just be aware if you are walking home, there is a HUGE hill to walk up! But they offer excellent shuttle service at the top of the hour up and down. Only minor note is that it's hard to tell what kind of living room set up your exact villa will have. We had a 2 person dining table and a small sofa, despite the space being large enough for a very comfy couch, for relaxing elsewhere from the bed or the outside furniture.

The Villa we stayed at was relaxing , well set out, very clean, lovely pool and deck area. It is away from the noise of Kamala but not too far away from the beach. The staff were really friendly and helpful and the shuttle service was much appreciated. Nothing seemed to much trouble.

There is always a negative but really nothing that would put us off staying again (which is really the most important question). Negatives if I was pushed to mention any would be that the Villas are at the top of a seriously steep hill. Also, while the resort doesn’t have some facilities you might expect for a 5 star (laundry, restaurant), it really didn’t matter as the staff were happy to drive us to a local laundry (all done for us) and to the nearby Kamala bay where we ate most nights. Complimentary shuttle service on a very regular basis both away and back to the Villa was fantastic, especially as my partner was still recovering from a leg injury.

We were very impressed with our large, wonderful villa. The private pool was a great size and had fantastic views over the mountains and ocean. Outside of the villa, there were various seats we could choose to comfortably enjoy the views. The villa was quiet and we could enjoy hearing the morning song of the birds. The bed was very comfortable and the gigantic hot-tub was fantastic. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, responding quickly whenever we had a question (either by their App or by WhatsApp). The shuttle bus runs hourly and stops at the Big C Market and the beachfront - very helpfully, the staff were happy to drop us directly at restaurants we wanted to visit en route to these 2 stops.

The breakfast/room service was decent, but the food could be improved to really give that luxury experience. It would be good if the villa offered its own laundry service, rather than having to use a laundrette down in the town.

the staff was super supportive and friendly. especially Jummy. the view and the facilities were beyond expectations and really loved and enjoyed the stay. they have a very useful shuttle service back and to the villa especially to the nearby attractions ( Kamala beach,….) and their breakfast service is punctual . the room service & house cleaning are amazing! the jacuzzi is amazing!! we booked in-room massage service for two , the team is a professional and is a must-try feature.

-gekos ,spiders and mosquitoes, especially in the night i suggest closing the doors @ night. - be aware of squirrels especially in the morning - the breakfast selection menu and variety is somewhat limited. also the food is served on time but it could use some improvement, and it arrived cold in one of the days of my stay -the pool could use some cleaning every day. during my stay the filters didnt work.

Everything about the property was amazing. Everything was exactly like the pictures but somehow better! The private pool was by far the highlight! Plus a big thing for me was clean fresh towels/sheets/etc delivered every morning.. without even asking! Also all the staff were so kind and attentive. They always replied quickly and went above and beyond to make my birthday special.

I really have nothing negative or anything I didn’t like. The location wasn’t ideal to walk places but that was not a dealbreaker. Their shuttle will take you into town or calling a grab is very cheap
