The hotel staff were wonderful, helpful and always very friendly and attentive. We were greeted by the door as soon as we stepped out of the tuktuk :) and got checked in right away. We were escorted to our cabin by Lyn, the hotel manager, and made us feel very welcomed. Supporting staff were equally helpful. They were always striving to make us feel comfortable, ie turning on fans when it was getting hot, serving cold drinks while we were sitting around the lounging area after a long and hot day exploring the ruins. We forgot to bring insect repellent, and Lyn immediately provided us with a bottle. The hotel grounds was beautiful. Cabins were nicely separated and had all the creature comforts one might long for. The breakfast provided was awesome. We stayed at the resort for 3 days, and everyday, there was something different for breakfast. And on the day we were to leave for ChiangMai, Lyn and her husband very kindly dropped us off the bus station.

The old rickety bikes. There were quite a few bikes for guests, but all of them were in different stages of disrepair. I felt uncomfortable riding in any one of them, and took a tuktuk to the old town, and rented a bike there. Another hotel in the vicinity provided their guests with much better newer bikes. It was a pity since there was a back road behind the resort where we could have enjoyed a leisurely bike ride, enjoying the nice views of rice paddies and a smaller ruin very close by.

The hotel staff were so friendly and helpful! They went to town and bought my Chiang Mai bus ticket on my behalf, drove me to the bus station on my departure day, and helped me get settled at the bus station. I was there to see the ruins of Sukhothai, and the hotel lent me an older bike for free, which was perfect for me. There’s a quiet road / bike trail right behind the resort which is a perfect way to get to the ruins. I didn’t use the small pool at all, but saw a couple people use it. The villas are lovely bedrooms with giant bathtubs, but the rainfall shower was all I used. I can’t emphasize how kind and helpful the hotel staff were!

What a find ... a total oasis just outside of the main Sukhothai site and almost the best place we have stayed in Asia (best in price bracket however!) Resort - beautiful small property with a few different style rooms set around the swimming pool. The pool itself is lovely; surrounded by trees and the rooms it manages to somehow feel very private and also features 3 loungers. Towels for the pool are also provided. From here you can also observe the comings and goings of so many different types of birds from the trees within the resort ... more than any single place we've seen to date. They also have free bike hire (great for nipping to the shop or to the ancient city) Room - featured 2 outside seating areas on different levels, good size bed and bath room with storage. Views directly out onto the pool and gardens. Good WiFi and amenities plus a comfy bed (very comfy!) Food - Breakfast was AMAZING ... 3 courses plus bits to help yourself to and all fresh. Incredible service and experience here that hasn't been matched anywhere else! They don't do dinner here but there's plenty of places to go nearby. Location - cracking for Sukhothai and the surrounding areas. You'll also find a small local shop just up the country road (it may not look mighty on your map app but actually its amazingly stocked!) You can cycle into the main old town from here. Staff - brilliant and more over very good at spotting what is required without you even asking for it. As some of the many examples; swam across the pool in the direction of the enclosed jet area; receptionist appeared just as I got there and turned them on. Sat outside reading my book as the sun was setting; they appeared with insect insence burners ... so many examples but consistent throughout our stay in being a step ahead! Parking - tons ... honestly no problem and all off road. This was an excellent stay and I would have happily stayed here for a whole week.

We have only high praise for this beautiful, elegant, family-run resort hotel, which is comprised of individual cabins surrounded by lush greenery with a large pool at the centre. The bird songs in the morning are brilliant. We loved our spacious room with its floor-to-ceiling windows, classy antique furniture, extremely comfortable bed, and spacious shower with great water pressure. We even had a huge, freestanding bathtub! Generous toiletries, too. Breakfast was delicious (various rice dishes served in banana leaves, eggs, fresh fruit, and good coffee, etc). We enjoyed the free bikes and cycled through the magnificent historical park, visiting the outdoor ruins, Buddhist statues and so on. The service was top-notch. Our host, Lyn, made sure we had everything we needed, even driving us to the bus station when we left. Thank you Lyn, and the rest of the staff, for a memorable few days. Great value for the money.

It's out in the pretty countryside, a couple of kilometers from the historical park and restaurants, but it's easy to get everywhere via tuk tuk or bicycle. They could cut down on the sweets a little at breakfast: the only cold cereals available were sugary. But these are tiny issues in what was one of the best places we've stayed.

Simply everything. The staff was super friendly and professional, the room is huge, clean and cozy. The whole property is very tidy and clean, it offer a spacious parking and free bikes to rent. The staff of the hotel helped us to arrange tu shuttle bus from and to the airport and also the motorbike rental. The historical site is just about 2km away, an easy 10-15min with bicycle or 2 mins with motorbike. Breakfast was really good and portion is way bigger than we thought. I really could not think of what could be done better here. I would recommend anyone to come here and definetly will come again on our next stay in Sukhotai! Still cannot believe to get this type of room and service for that price!

This is an excellent place. It is located a few hundred meters off the main road so is very quiet. These are a few houses around a swimming pool. There are lots of trees and plants, it is all very green and nice. The swimming pool is also good. The staff is very friendly and helpful with whatever request you might have - including sightseeing tips. The breakfasts are excellent, very interesting local food. The house we had was very good, very clean and well equipped. The bathroom was very big, it was also nice there was a small roofed part outside to leave shoes or things like that. The quality / price ratio was very good, we would definitely return if we are again in the area some time in the future.

The internet was not very good. There were two networks if I remember correctly, none of them worked really well in our house - one worked in the room near the door and the other in the bathroom. This is one thing that could have been a bit better.

The owner was present upon arrival and offered delicious welcome drink. Breakfast is large. I would recommend asking for any specific items you don’t want or there will be too much food. Pool was warm, clean and refreshing. Bed very comfortable. A small intimate resort close enough to historical park. Arranged transfers were both on time. 10/10

Very lovely small hotel with 9 bungalows and a central pool (great to relax). Had a very comfy room and the best breakfast that we had in all of Thailand. Staff was very attentive and helped at all times. You can walk into the city (20 mins) or take a free bike. Superb stay and also budget-friendly. Can definetly recommend it!

It is a bit of a walk to the next restaurant / city, but as written, you can take a bike or a tuktuk easily.

A hidden oasis! Private, tranquil and welcoming. Comfortable room, beautiful pool, delicious breakfast (way too much to finish!) and good location close to the historical park (especially if you use the free bikes provided). Staff were so friendly and willing to help with any queries. They really make you feel cared for! They even dropped us off to the bus stop on our final morning. Highly recommend for a peaceful and relaxing stay.

The shower never really got hot enough to have a proper hot shower.

We loved everything…our lovely very spacious bungalow, the AMAZING staff starting with Lyn, their professional, gracious, warm & every helpful Manager. The pool & deck area were great as was the open dining room & reception lounging area. Best breakfast in our 5 month Adventure thus far…beautiful presentation& huge servings…fruit platter, eggs, croissants, veggie options & cappuchino too! The location was PERFECT, right on the road and path around the entire Historic Park that circles the town. Loved their bikes available to us too!
