the location of this hotel 5 min bicycle ride to the historic park was superb. A very good restaurant with an air-conditioned area is right at the corner of the street less than 2 min walk away. pool was nice and clean. The owner and all staff were extremely nice and helpful. Room good size and bathroom good size as well.

2x during a thunderstorm electricity in the entire city went out, once for 10min and second time for 2hrs. Not sure it would be fair to blame the hotel for this as whole neighborhood went dark.

Quiet, charming hotel. Breakfast buffet was very nice. Staff was helpful and gracious. They helped us arrange a driver for some sightseeing. We stayed at this resort over the New Year's holiday. It was easy to walk back and forth from the hotel to the historic park. The bicycles were in rough shape and could use some maintenance or replacement. Our room was spacious and pretty.

Quiet location but very close to the Historical Park. Comfortable room and bed Strong Thai style which we really liked. It made a change from staying in a more contemporary hotel. Really helpful staff. Good choice for breakfast at a reasonable cost. Would return.

Rooms were a little tired but still comfortable.

It is truly a great place! Several rooms on the ground floor, nicely furnished with separate toilet and shower. Everything functioned well and the place was spotless clean. Our room was really huge and we had some kind of wonderful balcony, providing a great view over a small pond with flowers and fish. Breakfast was served as a buffet, gloves were provided, and there was plenty of everything for Europeans. The staff was welcoming and super friendly - whatever we needed, whatever we asked, we got assistance immediately in the most friendly way.

in fact, it's not a matter of "didn't like" but please be aware that you need a car to get around!

Nice pool, large room, free bikes, and the staff there —Mr. Wattana — was a proactive, kind and helpful resource for everything. Location was just a quick 2 min bike ride from the park and the stretch of restaurants on the way.

Room wasn’t very clean. Was about a 6 out of 10 for cleanliness.

- Beautifully decorated rooms! Antique Chinese furniture was a nice touch and very uncommon in Thailand. - Nice grounds, gardens, etc - Very nice staff - Good value

- AIR FRESHENER!!!! :-( Little chemical air freshener pellets are hanging in 4 places in the rooms and as a result, the entire room REEKS of air freshener. We removed these little bags of pellets first thing when we arrived, but the smell persisted because it was baked into the curtains… we are sensitive to chemical smells & my girlfriend woke up w a headache from this. - Breakfast was not great. - Walls between rooms very thin, people banging on wall when we were just speaking quietly

A wonderful setting and hotel decor. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable and it was close to the beautiful old city if you planned on visiting. The staff were friendly and welcoming.

The breakfast was just serviceable and there was no cereal or muesli, etc on offer.

We enjoyed this resort very much. It is beautifully designed and decorated in antique Thai style. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was very large (actually it was a two bedroom suite), very clean, very quiet and very comfortable. Restaurant was not open due to covid, but an excellent, generous breakfast was served on our terrace, freshly made at the time we requested. . Menu does not vary, but still was delicious. Free water, soft drinks and juice were available in our refrigerator. The garden and pool areas were well maintained, clean, tranquil and beautiful. We live in Thailand and have visited many hotels and resorts, while not cheap, this was great value and well worth it.

Their credit card system was not working, and we had to pay cash. They did not answer the messages I sent prior to our stay. Disappointing but minor.

Very friendly staff, great service. Nice rooms and a very good swimming pool. Staff arranged a really good van with a nice driver for our trip to Chiang Mai. In a nutshell: we had a lovely stay.
