The look of this place is out of a movie. It was incredible. We loved it so much we're coming back again for a second time next month! They offer free breakfast, although we didn't get to take advantage of this because we wanted to enjoy the food outside of the hotel but location and views were incredible. Would definitely come back!

The only thing that I would comment would be that the beds are a little outdated and uncomfortable but it's not a major issue. It's something you can deal with.

ALL. Everything was nice and clean. The building is 200yo century but they preserve it very well without loosing its vintage vibe. Close to the center, quiet area, and very clean and spacious room. Ozkan the staff was amazing, he was so helpful to make things to do and places recommendation to eat local food, fantastic! Thank you so much. I really recommend this place

Rooms were so spacious and clean. The staff was very welcoming and helpful as well. Location is central and in walking distance to many places we wanted to visit. Breakfast is also much better than average hotel standard

This hotel was more than we expected. Big room, comfy beds, lifesaving air conditioning. Clean tidy, great breakfast. Beautiful old mansion which has lovingly been restored and converted to a hotel. Heaps of character and right next to the bazaar. We were worried about the parking after reading reviews but the staff met us on the street and guided us up the tiny one way streets to the secure hotel parking lot, which would’ve been impossible for us to get to without them. Amazing staff, amazing location, amazing hotel!!

The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. They say they are a friendly hotel and they made a point of living up to this by being helpful and friendly. The location is great, right in the centre of the old town and near the copper bazaar. The traditional building is beautiful and the courtyard an oasis of calm in a busy, vibrant city.

Nothing not to like but people need to understand this is an olde building with a few marks of its age. For me they are just more character but if you want 5 star perfection rather than character maybe this is not the hotel for you.

Me and my daughter had an amazing experience at the Carra Hotel. The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. We were given lots of information about Mardin and where to visit which was a great help. The owner Mete arranged a taxi tour for us which was an incredible experience. The taxi driver Mehmet took us around for the entire day and was extremely knowledgeable of the area and knew the best places to go. The hotel itself was beautiful with a gorgeous traditional interior design. I highly recommend getting tea and sitting at the terrace, which offers a gorgeous view. Thank you to Yildiz and Bekir for the lovely breakfast and for being very friendly. Overall, our experience was 10/10 and we hope to make another trip in the future!

Nothing. Everything was perfect

Ideally located for sightseeing in the centre of Gaziantep. The room was equipped with everything we needed and decorated with lots of vintage items. The staff were very friendly and helpful (they don't speak English, but using a mobile translation app solved the problem).

The roads near the hotel are very narrow and the entrance to the car park is steep (it is on the road next to the hotel). We arrived in a small family car and the staff helped us in and out of the car park. It may be impossible to park larger cars or cars with less ground clearance without damaging them, even with the help of the hotel staff.

The decorations of the room were amazing. The courtyard was beautiful. We had a card to enter from outside. There is a locked car park that you need directions to get to and help to drive into. It is a bit hard to get in and out of but the staff will always help you. Laneways in the old town were built for horses not today's cars so be ready for tiny cobblestone lane ways. Hot water was great, air conditioner great. The room was of decent size. Very classily decorated.

Peaceful. Very good hot water and organic shampoo/conditioner. Stunning setting. Tea and mineral water could be purchased sitting in the courtyard. Very close to main street, a few restaurants and the street where leather shoes, copper, etc is sold. So interesting. A taxi stand is close by. It is 20 minutes by taxi to the main bus station. A small menu offering more e.g. Cola and chips was made to the staff as a suggestion.

It would have been great if there was a small menu to order drinks e.g. Cola.

The staff is very friendly and well-connected in the city. They always help out eagerly when there is a request, e.g. for a taxi, rental car or tour guides. The breakfast is excellent and the building is stunningly beautiful! Because it is built from thick stones, it also doesn't get very hot inside, so it was possible for me to sleep without A/C, which I appreciate. Location of the hotel is also very good - super close to the cozy old town and most of the sights.
