“Recently visited Almina Hotel for three nights - a fabulous small place to stay while visiting Istanbul. The hotel is well-located offering great value for money, with friendly, helpful staff, extremely clean & comfortable. The hotel is located in an area with a great selection of restaurants, coffee shops and bars, and is only a short walk to many sights including Sultanahmet and Aya Sofia Mosques, etc.. The service at the hotel was beyond exceptional. There was absolutely no issue that was not addressed timely and with satisfactory results. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the friendly reception staff. Shout out to Seyid - he was amazing with information on where to go and the prices, also he speaks multiple different languages. Our room was spotless and comfortable. The breakfast was really enjoyable with a wide range of options to choose from. I’ll be booking here again without a doubt! Thank you for your hospitality.”

Breakfast had many options to choose from, everything was fresh Location was central to Old city historic landmarks like Blue Mosque, although the street was a bit dirty There is a small convenience store right next to the hotel, where you can buy basics like water, yogurts, snacks, etc Staff was helpful and willing to resolve problems

The room pictured on Booking and hotel's website as Double was smaller in reality, there is almost no room between bed and desk The first room we got had a completely broken shower door and a wall socket hanging on a wire, which was a fire hazard. We switched the room next day

Hotel is very nice, staff very helpful and kind. Breakfast was ok, they had everything you need. Wi fi in the hotel is working very well. Rooms are clean and also are being cleaned on a daily basis. Rooms are a bit small, but that is not a problem - usually people who visit Istanbul are spending most of the time outdoors. Location is good - just a few minutes walking to the main street where tram station is and also Grand bazaar. You have everything you need close by. I would recommend this hotel.

Hotel is located in a narrow street that does not look very nice when you ariive. But you get used to it after a day or two :). It is very loud during the night - you can hear a lot of noise in the lower floor rooms.

The staff was very nice and friendly We put the cleaning sign everyday and they cleaned the room. I am not sure how many times they changed the sheets during the eight nights stay. The location is good near Sultanahmet, Galata towet and Fatih mosque.

This hotel appeated on booking one day with huge discounts. The price was about 20K Sek for 8 nights and with the ginues discount and getaway discount it became about 7700 sek almost 722 euro and ofcourse man shouldn't pay 20k sek for this hotel. It's a nice and clean budget hotel with nice staff and good location. If you have problems with walking be more careful because the roads are ups and downs.

We stayed for three nights at Almina Inn. The hotel was located within walking distance to many sights: Spice Bazaar, Grand Bazaar, Blue Mosque, Aya Sofia and many more. All the staff; especially Seyid and Safa were helpful, friendly and would assist you with any issues. The service at the hotel was beyond exceptional. Room was a bit small for 3 people but it was clean, cozy and equipped with all the basic amenities. The breakfast had many varieties to choose from. Paid parking garage was available nearby (rate was reasonable for three nights). ATTENTION!! The hotel is in an auto restricted zone between 09:00 - 21:00. One can pass through the police barricades if showing the hotel booking, so have it printed and handy)

Side street was kind of dirty

I have stayed at dozen of hotels in ISTANBUL. This was on the top of the list of best stays/experiences ever i had with my friends. Selahattin, Hassan and Mahmut was very hospitable and helpfull there for every need of mine they are great people to spend time and get information about city to discover.Also hotel is located in the middle of old town where you can reach to Grand Bazaar and Hagia Sophia by couple of minutes walking distance and you can reach Taksim, Eminonu by metro and tramway line. Every morning we had a wide range of Turkish breakfast and taste of traditional Turkish sweets give you full of energy to start your day.We have great time with my friends we feel that we are our home and it is good accomodation to stay for families and friends to explore the Istanbul. The staff were very polite and friendly. Umar and others went out of their way for us. The hotel was very clean and family friendly. My children enjoyed the stay. For the price I couldn’t complain at all. The location is very central and so is the tram station (about a three minute walk). It was uphill which is a little difficult for older people. Overall I would definitely come again and recommend the hotel to others!

Breakfast was simple - however, again for the price I couldn’t complain! It was still good.

The hotel is located on a high rise. Tired walking for families and the elderly. But it's okay for young people

The hotel is very close (2 minutes walk) to Istanbul Grand Bazaar and to tram station. We arrived at 1am and the receptionist Omer welcomed us with a big smile. During our stay he made sure that we have everything we need. All in all, our room was nicely decorated, the bed was very comfortable (slept like a baby), hot water 24/7, daily cleaning, free water etc. Big thanks to Omer who made our stay wonderful, will definetely come back at Almina again.

Cleanliness of bathroom could be improved!

Property is close to places all tourists are willing to see and to main train stations. Walking distance to the Ferry that can takes to other cities. Public garage meters from hotel. What really needed is a bigger sign on the front and maybe on the road. Taxi had difficulty reaching the hotel on arrival.

1- Double bed rooms size is tiny compared to the standard 2- Front sign is small and not easy to see. Otherwise all good and pleasant.
