The hotel has the best location. Breakfast is varied and delicious. The staff is professional, kind and always ready to help the guest. If I have to visit Istanbul another time, I will definitely book this hotel.

The hotel has nothing negative, I don't recall any errors

We were given a room on 5th floor. There was a little noise in the morning from the breakfast restaurant above, but we had great views which more than made up for it. Breakfast was good with a selection of different savoury and sweet foods and stunning views down to the port and sea. Fittings were of good quality and there were some nice "old-fashioned" touches like hotel stationery and a shoeshine pad. Effective aircon. Good WiFi.

Facilities to make tea and coffee in the room would have been nice. But there was nothing "not to like"!

The location is very good, easy access to transport links. There are plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance from the hotel. The staff were very helpful and approachable, they helped us book excursions and were happy to recommend places to visit. The cleanliness was very good, the rooms were cleaned every morning. The rooms are well air conditioned and the doors to the balconies open fully so that you are able to have fresh air through the room too. The beds are very comfortable. There isn't a bar in the hotel but the manager was more than happy for us to bring alcohol from outside and use the tables and chairs in front of the hotel in the evenings, providing glasses and ice.

Our room for two people was quite small with very little room to move around the bed as we had a balcony. There wasn't enough storage in the room for two people's clothing and suitcases. Our son and daughter both had a twin room each which were larger, however the staff were helpful and switched one of the twin rooms into a double so that we were able to swap the next morning. Also I think that the rooms would benefit from full length mirrors in the actual bedrooms. Our room only had a mirror in the bathroom. The breakfast buffet options are quite limited. However there is a small coffee and pastry shop few feet from the hotel which is handy.

Location is excellent: 15min walk to Sultanahmet or 2 stops by tram. Metro is also very close and you can reach Taksim in 3 stops! Breakfast is varied. There is a lift and the hotel is not on a hill so you don't have to struggle with the suitcases. There's a small minimarket around the corner where you can get water and other necessities. The Gran bazaar is literally opposite the hotel near the beautiful Sulimani mosque. It's an ideal location to visit Istanbul for the first time, very safe. Recommend.

The cleaners kept throwing away the soap and shower gel that were barely used, such a waste!

Best location, clean room, breakfast was delicious and lovely quite street. The staff were friendly and helpful although some of them don’t understand English very well but they still made me feel welcome and gave me directions to some of the sights.

The rooms are not sound proof so prepare to hear your neighbour’s conversations.

The location of the hotel is excellent, central Istanbul close to the Grand Bazaar and Beyazit tram stop and about 15 mins walk to the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. Breakfast was nice and room was comfortable and very clean. But the best thing about the hotel was the helpfulness of the reception staff. Muzafer did his very best to speak English and was always very helpful. when I got there in the evening I asked him to recommend a restaurant and he walked me to a place that served lovely food and was extremely reasonably priced. Muzefar was always asking me if I wanted tea or coffee, such a nice man!

Some of the room fittings were falling off, hand towel rail in the bathroom and the cover on the bed was hard and stiff not soft.

I loved the staff. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, being really open to offering suggestions, handing out transport cards, and always welcoming you back with a cup of Turkish coffee or tea. One waitress at breakfast in particular was always really lovely to everyone. The man at reception taught me some Turkish, gave great Baklava recommendations and organised an airport transfer at very short notice. The room also exceeded expectations. I had a lovely view, being able to see the water both from my room and from the room where breakfast is offered. The decor was great, the location was ideal as it is so close to the Grand Bazaar and tram line, while also being on a side street so it isn't noisy at night. Absolutely would stay again, loved my time here.

I would have liked if there was some sort of fitness centre but they were very clear that there was none so can't complain really because I booked knowing that.

The most things that i liked about this hotel is cleanliness and hospitality, the staff are very nice they are ready to help you with everything you need, whenever you call them they respond very quickly especially the reception guy mudafar who is always smiling and offer free coffe and tea every time I see him, I strongly recomend this hotel and i would stay there next time

The only notice I have is that the room was little small for 2 people everything else was perfect

The staff, the room, the location. The staff is extremely helpful. Mr Eesa , Mr Muhammed were very pleasant. There was another person too (not sure if his name is Mr Mustafa or Murtaza) whom I met only once and was very very helpful. They were always ready to help me with directions and to offer me tea , coffee, water :)) The view from their dining area is suoperb - it's sea facing!

A little more knowledge about the attractions would be nice. In fact a collection of printed brochures about the many points of attractions of Istanbul also might help. A little briefing about the city etc.
