We loved our stay at Dara Hotel! The location was the best, with everything nearby. The rooftop offered beautifull views of the sea and the nearby mosque Mehmet Paça. The breakfast was good, and the staff was very kind and helpful. Special thanks to Shaxod who waited for our late arrival at 1h30 am. And was attentive throughout our stay.

I book one room with street view and they give a one with view to an alley You need to use the stairs to go to the breakfast area and the stair are narrow. I didn't have any problem but I was with my mom and was a daily worry when we need to go upstairs. I have a problem with my card on my reservation and they didn't allow me to extend my stay, I ask for help since my first day and the day before I was supposed to check out, still have the same problem. I have to ask a family to book the room for me. I stay for 5 days

We had an amazing stay at Dara Otel! The hotel is perfectly located near the Blue Mosque, making it easy to explore Istanbul’s main attractions. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, providing everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The staff was incredibly friendly and always ready to help, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The breakfast was delicious, with a variety of options and a beautiful view from the terrace. A special thank you to all the staff for their kindness, professionalism, and hospitality. They truly made our stay even more enjoyable! We truly enjoyed our week here and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Istanbul!

The staffs were very friendly and helpful like many other Turkish people and hospitality. I was with my daughter on a short break. They gave me a cake as a surprise for my birthday, they saw my birthdate on my passport ( requirement for tourist registration). The room is quite small but very clean, breakfast on roof terrace, location is good, near to most tourist attractions.

The reception staff were very kind and helpful. Towels were changed every day. The location was excellent, 250m from Sultan Ahmet square. The neighborhood was decent. Breakfast was fine. To sum up, excellent value for money. We would book again.

Because of the rooms size, it would be nice if we had few hangers in the room hallway, or on the doors, for jackets and other stuff. Also, it would be nice if the sheets were changed at least once in 5 nights stay. Recommendation for new guests: Come earlier for breakfast, if you want a larger selection of food.

I recently stayed at this property, and I can't recommend it enough! From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive. The room was modern, clean and beautiful with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. One of the highlights of my stay was the rooftop restaurant, which offered the best views. Dining there was a magical experience, especially during sunset.. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was perfect. The location was also ideal, allowing easy access to local attractions and restaurants. Overall, my experience was exceptional, and I would definitely return to this property on my next visit. If you're looking for a place that combines comfort, great service, and breathtaking views, this is the one!

The location was great and within five minutes you are alongside Sultan Ahmet Mosque ('Blue Mosque') although the first couple of minutes are uphill. The staff were friendly and the room was cleaned every day with new towels etc. Breakfast was excellent with a good choice of hot and cold food coupled with a view of the sea and harbour from the rooftop restaurant. Anyone wanting a 7 o'clock wake-up call need not worry - there's a large Mosque across the road which ensures an early start every day. The rooftop restaurant didn't seem to be open in the evening, but if you go down the slopes two blocks there's a whole row of restaurants to choose from. Front desk staff were happy to give tourist information and a range of boat trips and other events.

After some busy days walking around the city, I was hoping to have a meal in the rooftop restaurant, but it didn't seem to open in the evening.

Everything was absolutely amazing!!! 1.Staff were very welcoming. The lady at the front desk was very sweet and welcomed us with fruits, she helped us with everything we needed. The Manager was very nice and helped us with all the questions we had. 2.Location was perfect 5 mins from blue mosque and tram station, very safe area and everything is nearby 3.Comfortable rooms with A/C and lift in the building. 4. Affordable for the location with breakfast

The place is adorable i loved the personals working there zaineb mehmed veysel and all of them are so kind and helpful! The place have amazing view specially from the lounge in the roof top with sea view and the mosque and all the authenticity of the historic istanbul the address is great near to downtown as walking distance and the neighborhood is so safe and at night it is calm and relaxing! I will be back definitely ❤️

The hotel is small and cosy, specially the breakfast area in the terrace. I was not expecting it, but when I arrived pretty early in the morning the staff allowed my early check-in and also that I could occupy my room. That was very nice! I enjoyed my stay very much.

Sometimes you ask something in the reception and they don't give you the information, then you have to figure out by yourself. For example, I asked about the location of a Vodafone shop and they answered that they would sell me a SIM card, which was not I was planning; the same about an exchange office.
