This will cost 18 euros approx and it's safe and convenient if you book a cab from the hotel. Seven, The room service is top-notch Eight, free up-gradation of my room through which I could see the beautiful Bosporus strait Nine, most importantly the location of this hotel. It is within walking distance of almost all the tourist attractions.

At night I struggled to control the room temperature through the remote and it was not functioning. At night sometimes I had to wake up as the room turned too cold. I should have asked about it at the reception to get a solution of this but I didn't, so this is also an error from my side. I would recommend this hotel and I would book it again if I get the chance to visit this beautiful country again.

The staff was very helpful, and the hotel was well aired, comfortable, and easy to traverse. I had clean towels, clean sheets and enough supplies throughout my entire stay there. The rooftop terrace was very comfy and had a nice view of the sea to the south/southwest. The location is also excellent, a few minutes walking to Sultanahmet square, and comparatively very quiet. There are two major metro stations within 20 minutes of walking, and the tram station at 5, giving easy access to a good half of the city. The bathroom was surprisingly large, well lit, well aired, with hot water ranging from lukewarm to scalding hot (much to my joy), well supplied dispensers with bathing gel and shampoo, a hairdryer, shower caps, and even a traveler's sewing kit. The breakfast spread of food was fairly wide, and even with my health related food limitations, I had plenty to choose from, with a decent amount of fruit, vegetables, cheeses, breads, fried eggs and others. The presence of lactose free milk was definitely a plus. The tea and water were also a pleasant surprise. Finally, as a useful information, they offer washing clothes (via a local company that does washing) at a fairly affordable price per kilogram of clothes, and with a quick return (mine were sent in the morning, and back in the evening of the same day). As someone who frequently likes getting away with packing lighter, this is something I appreciate.

I'm sad the rooftop terrace bar wasn't in use. I'm not sure if it was in use before, but the whole place is extremely comfortable, and would have been nice to be able to get drinks up there. Wifi signal could be a tad weak at times, but even the dogs know 100% coverage is a nightmare, so I don't hold it against then.

Location was perfect - right next to the blue mosque and near many restaurants and cafes. The view from the terrace is exactly as shown in the photos and it was very peaceful in the early morning to sit there and gaze out at the sea. At night too, the terrace came to life with colourful lights.

The terrace furniture had a slightly musty smell that was a bit off-putting. The hotel receptionist could have been slightly more forthcoming with recommendations of where to eat, etc. as we arrive quite late in the evening and we’re hoping to be suggested restaurants rather than doing the research ourselves. The washroom sink was outside the washroom (in the main room area) which was quite inconvenient since any splashed would land in the room and make it wet.

The property and staff were just wonderful. Our room was a perfect size for a family of 4, with privacy between the two rooms. The balcony and view to the Sea of Marmara was amazing, and we spent some part of most evenings out there. The breakfast was fantastic, with a wide assortment including cheeses, meats, breads, cereals, tea and coffee. The staff assisted us on multiple locations, taking the initiative several times when a driver was not yet arrived to call the company and inquire in Turkish about the delay and timing. We would highly recommend.

Location is terrific with the exception of the noise from the call to prayer. It’s in the heart of everything in old town Istanbul! The staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and welcoming. Breakfast was an added bonus and one of the reasons why we booked our stay at Rumours Inn! Bottled water available, hair dryer, ample pillows, hot water, plenty of space in room, the rooftop terrace was also a great surprise for us! We were also working remotely during our stay and the downstairs lobby was a perfect cozy, warm and welcoming space for this!

Having no elevator while staying on upper floor and having a lot of luggage was a negative but I had help from the staff carrying it up the stairs (even at 01:30!!)

The reception and catering staff were very helpful.lots of variety at breakfast. Great shower and air con.

The rooms were nice, but needed more lighting .The rooms were not cleaned well. Really dusty, toilet roll was rarely replaced along with toiletries. The rooms were not swept at all. The cups were not replaced. Only beds were made and we were given fresh towels. Anything that we needed replacing we had to ask for. This criticism is only directed at the house cleaning staff not anyone else.

Amazing location from all major sightseeing places. Literally just round the corner, but without masses of tourists under your window. My room was with the balcony with the view over the sea. The roof terrace was under renovation, but I still managed to stay there and enjoy sunset. All guys working at the reception are very polite and kind. They are all willing to help every minute. Rooms are cleaned daily. I'm really glad I chose to stay at this hotel. I will definitely choose it again if I come back to Istanbul.

A rooftop terrace is essential to experience Istanbul, and Rumour's terrace was large and comfortable. Plenty of shade and sun and a view of the Marmara Sea. Rest rooms at the back of the terrace for convenience. Amazing breakfast with lots of traditional turkish foods and cakes and breads for European tastes. Everything was clean. The only negatives were curving stairs to the upper levels that were a little harder to navigate for an older person. (The staff offered us a first-floor room, but we liked our second floor room and declined) Furniture was older but clean. Staff were helpful, spoke English, and were a fountain of information. You must walk up a hill to reach the Hiaga Sophia, but everything was easy walking distance. In summary: Quiet, close to many attractions, view of the sea from the terrace, clean, and plentiful breakfast.

Curving stairs were narrow. Kind of weird murals in the rooms. Our room had a grouping of moose. Some furniture cushions on the terrace needed cleaning.

The location was excellent, very close to the Hagia Sofia and food street. The roof terrace was perfect area for chill out and you have been in wonderful spot to check breathtaking view around. Breakfast was rich and you could choose from local food.

The room view was into the concrete courtyard, no nice and it was hard to get fresh air into the room.

The hotel is in a super central location, on a quiet street just a couple of minutes’ walk from the Blue Mosque. The photos make the hotel look a little more glamorous than it actually is, but the facilities are great. Our room was a good size and very very clean, with plenty of space for the whole family and a nice little balcony from which we could see the Bosphorus. I really liked that we had a fridge, tea making facilities and lots of storage space for our clothes. The breakfast buffet is nice and varied, though maybe a little repetitive after a while, and we really appreciated being able to take as much bottled water as we needed. The staff were all incredibly helpful, and assisted us with arranging transport to various places. I would definitely recommend Rumours Inn to anyone visiting Istanbul!
