I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Istanbul! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment I arrived, always ready to help with anything I needed. The location couldn’t be better – it’s just a 5–10 minute walk or quick tram ride to all the main attractions, and only a minute away from the T1 tram line, making it super convenient to get around the city. There are plenty of shops and restaurants right nearby, so you’re never short of options for food or things to do. The room itself was small to medium in size, but comfortable, well-kept, and even had a balcony, which was a lovely bonus. The housekeeping team kept it spotless, with fresh towels and a tidy space every day, which made the stay even more enjoyable. What really stood out to me was the level of care from the staff. My luggage was unfortunately left behind at the previous airport, but when it was finally delivered to the hotel around 4am, the staff were there to receive it and ensure it was safe. That kind of service truly went above and beyond. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Istanbul – perfect location, great amenities, and an outstanding team who make you feel completely at ease.

The AC wasn’t working properly on one of the days apparently because one of the other guests had their AC set on high temperature which made our room really hot through the night. But the staff were helpful and came to fix it straight away.

We had the best possible experience during our stay in Endican Sultanahmet Hotel in Istanbul. The staff were exceptionally professional, friendly, and always ready to help, offering great advice on local attractions and things to see. The location of the hotel is very convenient — close to many restaurants, shops, and public transport options. Our room was clean, modern, and comfortable, and we were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a room with a lovely street view. The hotel also arranged transport to and from the airport, which made our trip so much easier. We were even offered a late check-out, which was a nice touch. Overall, we couldn’t be happier with our stay. Everything exceeded our expectations, and we’ll definitely return on our next visit to Istanbul. Highly recommended!

Nothing at all.

Staff were welcoming, caring and so helpful, even called me at 2am on my arrival in Istanbul to ensure that I found the hotel transportation at the airport and was en route to hotel. I really felt like I was in safe hands. My room was spotlessly clean which enhanced the coziness. This is one feature of hotels that usually gives me anxiety, whether or not it will be clean, but this hotel was at the cleanliness standard that I desire. Size was smaller than usual, but that's the average in Suntanahmet area. Iron not in the room but available when requested. Location was perfect 👌🏽 I walked everywhere and saw everything twice. Close to most of the major attractions, metro stop is a few steps away, grocery/parking garage across the street, food is everywhere (hotel doesnt serve breakfast but I didn't miss it because as soon as I stepped outside there's food). Istanbul is beautiful and addictive, I'll definitely go back, and Endican will always be my choice to stay. Do not hesitate to book with them.

There were two small things to note: the hotel doesn't provide shower cap, so walk with one if you need...and the room safe didn't work. Not a negative for me, but just to highlight that the double room was two single beds pushed together (with that indent in the middle) and the blanket was also two single pieces, each covering one side of the bed. Ok for solo traveller but might be lacking for couples/family.

The hotel staff were very accommodating and were always on hand to give good recommendations, help and advice. The front of house staff, particularly the manager was very attentive, useful and kind. The property was 2mins walk from the tram and outside multiple restaurants and the market. Making out trips nice and convenient to get to places.

We were a family of 3… they gave us a smaller room for the two sharing and the bigger bedroom to the single person in the group (not sharing the room) which didn’t make sense. Since we both paid extra.. the same price for a bigger room - so this is the only criticism.

Nice looking hotel with a modern design, located in the middle of Sultanahmet. Many restaurants and historic sights to find in short walking distance. Receptionists were very friendly and helpful. Rooms clean and beds comfortable.

Our room was at the back of the building and catched a lot of sun. We asked to use the Airco as it was 27c in the room, but as it was early April the airco was set to heating only. We slept with the window open with the noise of some machine right outside. This was a bit inconvenient.

The location was great - near the tram ride. You can choose to walk to the places if attraction or take the tram and alight one stop away. The tram is an walk down the hotel. Nearby supermarket which sells things at affordable prices. There are many places to eat nearby too. Rooms are accessible via lift.

The hilly slope, which can’t be helped, maybe a bit challenging to the older folks. So just take it slow. There is no breakfast at restaurant but they can serve quick hot drinks if you need. Lift is a bit small so if you travel with family or have large luggages may need to take multiple trips.

Location was perfect near a lot of historical places, grand bazar tram and good restaurants. A huge thank you to the entire staff, Emrah, Húsnú and Alim, for their exceptional attentiveness and genuine service-minded approach. They went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. Truly outstanding hospitality!”

We liked everything

I booked a room with a double bed and then decided to bring a friend so I requested a room with two single beds. I was told that the change could not be guaranteed but I was pleasantly surprised that I received a room with two single beds when I arrived. The room was very clean. The hotel staff are really helpful with things like printing off your Boarding pass for you and offering to book tours. The location of the hotel could not be better. It is within walking distance of many of the main sights. We went in winter and the room is very warm. The hotel doesn't offer breakfast but there are some decent restaurants nearby. There are tea and coffee making facilities in the room. We were given free bottles of water every day.

Our room was a bit on the small side but it was otherwise fine.

The location is in walking distance of many many touristy places. The room was small but very clean, great airco, no noises at night. The staff was very friendly to the point we had nice conversations about culture, Istanbul, etc. We had some challenges when using the safe and also on that they helped very friendly.

The location is also situated near tourist trap restaurants. Check tripadvisor for some nearby gems. The hotel did not offer breakfast but the surrouding area offers alternatives. We often shopped at the supermarket across the street and then ate at the hotel lobby.

Placed near a lot of attractions and near public transportation, the staff is very helpful, very good value for money. The hotel offers possibilities of hotel transportation, bit pricey but it's reliable and very comfortable

We had a room at the lobby level which had a very tight kind of balcony that was completely covered, so we didn't have much natural light, no possibility of breakfast but at least you can try different places. Not a lot of amenities in the hotel but it's ok if you only wanna rest. Being at lobby level, there was sometimes noise from the lobby
