Room was comfortable and clean with a view to town. Wifi worked well in the room. Staff was friendly and helpful. I used hotel organised transfer from airport and back, which worked well. The price was a bit below the list prices for airport taxis. Location close to Taksim Square is quite central. A lot of nice restaurants around.

While street noise did not reach the room, the music from a discotheque next to the hotel did, especially on Friday and Saturday night. It was possible to sleep, anyhow. While the room was clean and probably recently renovated, common spaces have quite a bit of wear and tear.

- Location: prime location, 2 minutes from Taksim squre and Istiklal street. - Room: slightly small, very clean. - Breakfast: scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, saucages, french fries, cheeses, cold cuts, olives, cereals, fruits, bread, butter & jam, juices, water, coffee & tea...what else could we ask for. - Staff: all extremely helpful and friendly

The night club just opposite keeps playing music up until 5 in the morning. It sounds good the first hour, but while sleeping it gets on the nerves. I think they can improve the sound proofing quality of the hotel and everything will be perfect.

The balconies could have been cleaner

The location is Bang on ! In about 4 minutes you are in the middle of Taksim square and a lol further, Istiklal street. The front desk is helpful and organized my airport transfers seamlessly. Faizer was very cordial amd helpful too. Rooms and bathrooms are clean.

The rooms are pretty small and very basic. Functional yes, but at that price i guess we expect a little more in terms of space and comfort. Breakfast is Cold Breakfast. So guests should keep this in mind, and later we realized this was common in Turkey.

Very nice small hotel in perfect location, everything you need is just few meters from hotel (shops, food, drinks, metro, bus), friendly and helpfull staff, clean and nice rooms, very comfortable beds. I was twice in this hotel and for sure I will come again. Second time I stayed in Junior suite with city view, wonderful room with big balcony and really amazing city view. Special thanks to the hotel manager Isa, who is really the right man on the right place. Thanks!

It's a nice hotel with a very nice team, correct, polite, respectful and kind anything I asked they did their best to help me out. Location is very good, rooms are not big but it was okay for 2 persons.

For 2 persons I would have liked a little bigger bed. Like most of Istanbul there is a mosquee near the hotel so you will hear it in the morning. Breakfast could be a little better

I traveled with my mother and her twin sister. We arrived late at night, we booked a standard family room. It appears to be located at -1. The room itself was fantastic. It was very big and nice. We asked to change it because of the location. The day after, the manager show us another two rooms, and we decided to move to triple room. It was very smooth and easy. No extra money was charged. First of all, as one that travelles a lot, its not obvious that changing the room gets so smooth. We were so pleased with our new room. It was decent, with nice balcony. The bathroom was very nice. In short, the room was excellent. The breakfast held in the lobby. It was ok, the tea and the chef were extraordinary. The staff in general are very very kind. It always felt as they are doing they job with smile. We booked a travel in the crouse via the hotel. They give us a discount. The day we wanted to leave we discovered that they also have transfers in cheaper price. Sadly it was too late to change the ride. But they tried to help us in every possible way. In general, I highly recommend this hotel. The location, the rooms, the staff and the price are perfect combination. If I get back to Istanbul, I already know where Im staying :)

The location of the standard family room. Although its one of the greatest rooms I've ever seen in hotels.

In my opinion, it did not meet the standard of a four-star hotel. The room is a little dim The internet on the 5th floor was very weak and very disconnected

Great location, staff very, very kind and hospitable, the service and breakfast was excelent and the room was clean. Industrial design.

The bathroom is not seperate from the room, it would be better if it have door between. The wifi wasnt working always on the room floor. In the loby was ok.

Due to my very good experience with Faros Hotel last August I chose it again during my three nights booking (2-5 April). I must admit that after the painting of the place and the new look of the reception the impression is very positive. Breakfast continues to be very satisfactory with more than 30 cold and hot dishes, and with Mr Hüdayet a very helpful, ever smiling and kindest man ready to fulfill any request about the breakfast. Daily cleaning and make up of the room. Ms Nevin our floor manager is worth mentioning about it. Above all Mr Isa present all the time with his team and with sincere interest for their guests. Faros eventually is my staying place in Taksim (Istanbul) with its very reasonable prices (compare it with nearby accomodations) and real cost - value balance. The choice is yours.

I hope that they keep in mind to have soon a reaching facility for the disabled.
